My Dad really likes it. He has made friends. He enjoys the food for most part. They enjoy the dessert cart that comes around during meal times. The staff is very nice and helpful when we moved them in.

Our family had an in person tour and it was an amazing facility the only thing that steered us away was the price. Right when you walk in you can see their beautiful dining area that has these really pretty staircase almost similar to something you would see in the Titanic movie. It is very physically appealing.

I like everything about this community no negatives and I would recommend the community to others.

It didn't have everything I was looking for, rooms where a little smaller. New but very nice

The staff are excellent, make the residents feel at home, and they helped with a transition. The apartment has a good sized bedroom, kitchenette, and a nice sized family room for my loved one. The dinner is a lighter meal that is usually similar to a soup and sandwich. Some of the activities include movies, crafts, outings, bingo, religious services, and more for the residents to choose from.

This community was huge and they had a lot of activities and more but my loved one felt that there were to many people in this community and that she would get lost. The community was nice and overall the tour was okay but we just did not get that right feeling at this community. The elevator also made us nervous at this community.

This has been an incredible experience. My loved ones and the family are pleased with the experience at Ivy Creek. There was nothing that compared to being here. The management team has been wonderful to work with. The food is delicious and great for my loved ones. Every day there is something different served for the residents. The community is so nice when they see the family and make sure they say hi to me. The staff is very genuine. Some of the activities available include bingo, shopping sign ups, movies, celebrations, holiday decorations, and more for the residents to choose from. The community even has transportation for field trips. I'm so thankful we found Ivy Creek.

The food is wonderful, they do a great place with my Mom. It makes me happy that my Mom is happy. The meals are clean, balanced, no dietary issues. We really like the staff. There is a variety of activities are provided. One time a K9 unit came and the police department showed the residents how they train their dogs and the skills the dogs have. The residents loved it. People come in and sing and play instruments. It's a great place to be. They go on field trips and provide transportation as well.

I have talked to visitors during tours about how excellent it is to live here. I understand the corporate side may be interested in making money as far as the business aspect of it goes but the community here is great. The staff is incredibly helpful, kind and thoughtful. Meals times offer an alternate meal or deli sandwich if you don't care for the main option. The dining experience is not assigned seating but 4 chairs to a table. The community encourages social interaction during meal times.

Scholl Canyon Estates gave us a lovely tour and we really liked the facility. The only reason we did not go with them was because it is only independent living and they are not certified for assisted living. We wanted assisted living to at least be offered because we can see mom needing that type of care down the road and we do not want her to have to move.

I have not yet taken advantage of the activities but from what I have heard they have great things. The location is what I like most, it is great for those who love to walk and get our especially to the parks that are nearby.

This community had no working kitchen in the unit and my loved one wanted this for his unit. He wanted to be able to cook if he wanted to. Other than that this was a great tour with lots of information and a very good tour.

It's a good place for someone to have independent living. The staff is very accommodating.

Independent living at an affordable price near Dr.s and the Glendale hospital. I like the simple layout of the building, which makes it easy to navigate. The new Chef is an expert and she seems to really listen and care.

Good community, too far from where we wanted to be.

This is a good place for a loved one. The staff are friendly and the community is affordable. The staff are attentive to the residents and willing to assist with questions or concerns. The food is good. Right now there is no activities director in the community, so activities are off and on.

Ashton Gardens is a clean community, every time we come to visit everything looks really nice. She seems to really be liking it so far. The staff have been very nice, the gal who initially gave us the tour [name removed] was fantastic and the kitchen staff has been great. She always talks about the different exercise classes and how they bring in live entertainment.

This is a very good place to put your relative.

This is a very bright and cheery community. It is clean and the staff are very helpful and nice. The food is good and things are well. There seems to be a lot of dogs in this community that don't go outside. The internet is also in the common rooms and does not reach down to my loved ones room as advertised. They have games , crafts, field trips, talent shows and more for the residents to do to have a good time and stay busy in in the community.

Moved my mom here in [date removed]. She is so happy. Making lots of friends, eating well & thriving!! Management is Awesome! They serve during meals, check on residents and treat them all like family. Mom has dementia and the staff is so patient & caring when she needs anything, they are wonderful to help her. Highly Recommend Mckinney location! Go for a tour and eat a great meal while there!
