My parents both live here. I haven't been here because I don't live in Arizona, but they haven't complained so I am assuming that all is well.

This is a lovely community and my mother is doing well here. I'am pleased with the care they are providing her with, I know she is in good hands. It gives me a peace of mind know she is safe. She is really getting involved in the community and trying many of the activities they offer. The food is great. Overall everything has worked out very well.

The community seemed nice and it was well maintained. They just did not have the answers I was looking for. Seems like a lot of these communities just tell you what they want you to know and it’s up to you to discover the rest. I am glad I had question prepared before I started looking or else I wouldn’t have known what to ask. They sure don’t tell you about certain programs unless you ask them.

It was a lot of help to me as his caregiver having my loved one in a place where I knew he was going to be safe. And the apartment is nice.

I toured Discovery Point Retirement Community and I thought it was horrible. It was regimented and the lady who showed me around was very uncaring. I would never put my loved one there.

After touring Discovery Point, I found it very limited, and it felt kind of incomplete. It was an older building that didn’t seem to be as well kept. They didn’t offer near the amenities as the place that I ended up selecting.

Be aware this is an independent living community and you need to know that there is no staff there after 5 pm. I would recommend this community if your loved one is truly inderpendent.

I would tell others not to come here. The maintenance is terrible. This is the number one reason not to come here.

I would say to check back after oppressive pandemic rule. The community hasn't handled the rules well and not communicating well with the residents. I know that some residents have spoken up. They have had cases of COVID. I believe they should be communicating what type of residents they are taking into the community. From what I've heard is that the community is taking at risk (semi-supervised) people, and they don't have the nursing staff. The food service has improved over time.

Independent living only. No medicos standing by. Some health services available ala carta. Fairly clean and nice.

I had a problem with this place when I toured it. When I was looking at the apartments, I noticed that the showers did not have the shower hose. When I asked, the lady just replied to me that if I bought one they would install it. Later on, I asked about crime and she told me that when they rob the place next door, they usually go to this complex to hide. It did not make me feel safe t all.

I scored them a 3/5 only because my mother has not lived there very long. The community is very clean and the staff is friendly. They offer a calendar for activities and keep us informed of what is going on. I have personally tried the food and it is very good.

Horrible new management. The past few months have been awful for the people living there. It’s really gone down hill. Terrible food, rude front office. The receptionist is nice, but the office person is rude. Especially when her boss isn’t there. A lot of people are moving out because of the changes since the new corporate woman took over. At the tenant meeting, she raised her voice and tried to intimidate the elderly people when they asked about changes she is making. She has ruined Windsor Square.

What this community could work to improve on is to do what they say they will do and actually offer the things they say they will offer. They could also have more staff and better food to serve.

i HAD CONVINCED MY MOM TO SELL HER HOME, AND PURSUE A LIVING SITUATION THAT WOULD ENABLE HER TO ENJOY RETIREMENT!.. IF I COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME, I'D OF NOT MOVED HER TO WINDSOR!! HER LIFETIME COLLECTION OF JEWELRY WENT MISSING FROM HER APT WHILE SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. IVE REACHED OUT, SINCE DAY ONE , IN HOPES STAFF WOULD HELP ME LOCATE HER PRECIOUS ITEMS, SHE HAS SINCE PASSED AWAY, AND IT STRIKES AT THE HEART KNOWING MOM SUFFERED THIS ABUSE AT THE HANDS OF THOSE WHO WERE SUPPOSE TO CARE. INITIALLY STAFF ACTED LIKE THEY WERE TAKING IT SERIOUSLY, TRIED TO CLAIM FAMILY MEMBERS HAD ACCESS, NONE DID! SINCE INITIAL CONTACT, THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS!

No balconies or outside gardening. Assigned seating in dinning room with rigid schedule.
