The only detractor was an inexperienced sales woman when we first came here and we almost did not rent here because of her inability to answer basic questions for our needs. However, we came back with help from another woman and eventually rented our apartment. Because of my husband's medical costs, we needed lower rent. We were able to downsize to a 1 BR. We enjoy the other residents, access to bus transportation and outstanding entertainment. We have a nice well maintained pool, helpful maintenance & office staff. Our apartment is clean & nicely updated. We toured about 8 facilities & chose Pueblo because of access to good shopping, restaurants, churches, & medical facilities. We were fortunate to be able to take our time by staying with a daughter for a couple months while deciding. After all considerations we are happy we chose Pueblo. Overall they do an excellent job at Noble Village. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly and professional. They provide strong encouragement for the residents to get out of their rooms and interact in social events and activities. I have, however, heard a lot of complaints from my loved one about the food, mostly that it is just too bland.

The management is not very involved which is why I rated it a four. I’ve heard the food is not that good. I haven’t had any problems with parking or with the laundry service. The management is a little lacking though.

We looked at quite a few destinations locations, and ended up moving into one. This was one of the options that we were considering. It was a nice place, and the staff were friendly. However it is located directly adjacent to the freeway, which is a big negative. It is also a bit remote for us, too far from our normal destinations.

The layout of the community was different than the other Destinations locations that we looked at. It is a series of single-story duplexes and fourplexes, and they looked nice from what we saw. It was a very large community. It was a bit remote for us though, my husband and I like to walk and there isn't much within walking distance.

We're very happy here so far! It's a nice looking place, very clean, and the staff are friendly. It's also a good value for the location and size of the apartments. It's conveniently located, lots of amenities fairly close by. There are a few things we'd like to see them improve on, however. They could use more activities, especially on the weekends. We've also heard from other residents that the bus service has been declining (we drive, but I thought this was important to note).

We liked the overall atmosphere of Noble,the 2 staff we met, we realized we have to find out more of what kind of detailed care D has now and what he will need. Not sure of location, may be too far north. We like the smaller feel,not huge complex. some hallway carpets were (stained) looked like they needed cleaning/replaced, living area for 1 bdrm seemed narrow/small.Dead plants at front entrance, Did not see any staff with residents ( maybe 1 sitting at table in common area)

Nice, a little quiet, a little more pricey. Farther away.

The Gardens of Annapolis struck me (appearance wise) better than some of the other places did. I have noticed that there are not a lot of men in the facility. The food is in a separate building so if weather is bad, it is hard to get over there. The apartment sizes are on the smaller side, but I am transitioning well. Overall I do not regret my move and would recommend to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and the value from what we remembered was good it was one of the cheapest for us. It was very clean from what we could see, everyone seemed pretty content but the location was just to far away

I do really like the apartments, the doors close by themselves and I also have a full sized refrigerator. The view from my balcony is pretty. I have been experiencing a loud noise and they are trying to figure out what that noise is and where it is coming from. The facility is in more of a square so you do not have to walk far to get places. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is a fun place to live. The rooms sizes are small I have a 2 bedroom. The activities are great we have exercise, line dancing, coloring, painting, poker games, bingo, and water aerobics. I would recommend this community.

We chose Discovery Village because when we walked in the door the appearance is nice. They took us around, we LOVED the room they suggested she go in in independent living. The also took us around to some of the residents and they were very friendly which made my mother feel good, so she actually chose the facility. Within 2 weeks, we moved her to assisted living. My biggest complaint is the director. He is very nice but he is not good at communicating with families. It is hard to get a response from here. I would recommend the community as long as their family member could communicate with them and tell them how they feel and how they are doing.

We do think they have done a very good job with maintaining the cleanliness of the community. The staff that I have spoken with seem to be very helpful and friendly. The care is good and they have done their best to stay on top of things. We do think Discovery Village At Sugarloaf is a little expensive. The food quality is also not very good and they have had problems in the past with keeping medications correctly distributed.

The meals and dining should be a 0, they stopped with the food. They could improve on the food. Transportation to drs. appointments.

I rate it a 3-4, because the activity director, [name removed], is awesome & tries to make everyone happy. You know that's hard to satisfy a bunch of adults, especially women. They don't serve meals, except for continental breakfast about 4 days a week. Everyone looks forward to these. We have a lot of potlucks & different celebrations every week. Once a month is birthday celebration, holiday party, bingo, card games, crafts, painting etc. They try make sure there something for everyone. The flower beds & lawns are in kept nicely, to enhance curb appeal

Facility is old be sure to get on first floor and everything you need such as walk in shower and high toliet and check electrical outlets and vents for ac and heat flow. The location is good.

This place can barely be called handicapped accessible. There are no automatic doors to any amenities. You cannot access the Great Room or inner courtyard in a wheelchair or motorized cart. There is an automatic door between the GR and the courtyard area. But you can't access either area without a key fob and someone holding the door open for you. People need to know this. This property has been unstable since I got here. Ownership changed, all staff has turned over 2x or more. They're cheap and took months to resolve a noise issue.

The staff was very helpful. The facility is kept spotless. I felt the staff did not keep up with my loved one's medication. There were numerous times that my loved one said they did not give her certain medications. I had to keep on the nursing staff to make sure that certain medications were given to her. I felt like this was a problem. The food was good and my loved one liked it. However, when she had to go to dialysis early in the morning they did not give her breakfast. Being diabetic, that was worrisome. We had to make sure that she ate something before she left the facility for treatment. Also, when she left the facility they owed me $[removed] for overpayment and I had to wait 7 weeks for a refund! My loved one went to activities, but complained that there could have been more to do.

My experience at Avidor is quite disappointing. Staff turnover is a notable problem. I can’t even track the number of different resident experience directors we have had or the amount of time the position has been vacant. This is a very female centric community and most activities are planned for and attended almost exclusively by women. The continental breakfast is no better than a 2-star motel and is packed with unhealthy foods. Happy hour snacks are also disappointing and usually consist of nuts or taco chips. Communication from management is infrequent and incomplete. Messages and suggestions are commonly ignored. There is a BIG gap in what is advertised and what is delivered.
