5! AKR is a wonderful place to live. The residents are very nice and welcoming, many have been living here for many years. They offer many activities and classes, the grounds are pristine and the security makes one feel safe and secure. The staff is amazing always greeting you with a smile and willing to help or answer any questions you may have.

Everyone here is very friendly and welcome you with open arms. They go out of there way to get you involved with all the activities they have here. You can play bingo, bridge, scrabble or go to there little movie theater to watch a movie once a week. The staff will help you in anyway they can to make you feel at home. If you don’t drive, they have trips to the different stores and will transport you there too.

It is a 55+ active community with lots of interaction. There are karaoke nights, monthly dinners, game nights, craft projects, and food pantry, outdoor games and spaces. A beautiful pool. A gym. Pool table and game room. Business station and puzzle room.

Active and safe community for those 55 and up. Has so many events to keep people entertained and a variety of options for different interests. Welcoming group with nice staff and the place is kept clean. Couldn't ask for a better place, in fact, a place like this community should be offered everywhere.

Its very nice here. The other residents are very friendly and helpful. They bring a little fresh air to the place. The staff is very nice snd helpful too. They are always pleasant and keep you informed as to whats going on.

I had the privilege of going with a friend to visit Northstar Georgetown Apartments this past week. The facility was spacious, clean, and the tenants were very friendly. The tenants are active and like to have fun! The administrator and activity director were friendly, helpful, and informative. I would love to live there!!

My husband and I really enjoying this place. We have had a slow moving in process because of other commitments but everytime we come back to Northstar everyone is always so welcoming. The staff is incredible. Most of our communications in our move in process has been with [name removed]. She is awesome! Any question we may have, she assists or she finds someone that can. The entire staff is like that. Lots of activities. You can participate as much as you would like or enjoy some quiet time.

I love my apartment, it has all the features that I wanted. The leasing agent was friendly and made sure to get me just the right place with everything that I needed. First floor, with a tiny front yard and a dog park close by. She was also there to help when I had to be relocated temporarily so that workers could come in and fix a problem . Now that I’m back, I love it even more.

I moved my mom here November of 2006. She was a resident at The Gardens of Annapolis just a month shy of 18 years. The Gardens is suited for active seniors. Everything is close and conveniently located including grocery stores, restaurants, a CVS, banking, Annapolis Mall and other shopping, and a hospital just a few miles away. Mom didn't drive but she did take advantage of the bus service the Gardens provide to get to and from her doctor's appts. The residents look out for one another which is also a plus. Monthly calendars are posted with fun activities and events. It is a secure facility. The buildings are very well maintained both inside and out. The parking lots are well lit and everything is walker and wheelchair accessible, including their private bus. The management staff is also second to none! They are never too busy to help a resident or answer questions from family. Each apt has its own private balcony. Moving Mom to The Gardens was the best thing we ever did for her!

This is a great place to live for all people 55 and older. They have all kinds of activities if you want to join in them. There's no pressure if you don't. They put a calendar out every month so you know what is coming up. There are pot luck dinners and brunches and cooking with a chef, exercise classes food truck on certain Fridays. Lots of things to do. I love it here.

Georgetown Northstar is a fabulous place to live. We have many events to attend and participate. Our Lifestyle Director is amazing. All the gals here are absolutely wonderful! I had an issue and [name removed] helped me and we got it taken care of right away. I love our office staff!! The maintenance guys are absolutely amazing!!! Would recommend living here!

What an awesome place to live! Very friendly staff who are always willing to help. Maintenance staff always greet residents with a smile. Very one is professional but genuine and down to earth. So many activities that our monthly calendar runs out of room to list them all. Convenient to shopping, health care, restaurants and grocery stores. Residents are very friendly and someone is always willing to help. This is our new neighborhood and we love it!

I would tell them that so far this has been a very quiet and peaceful community, which is something I really appreciate. The front office staff are warm, friendly, and accommodating. For the most part, the residents are informed of issues in the community normally in a timely manner. So far, my decision to live here has been a good one.

I am totally happy with my apartment choice. There is safety n quiet but there are multiple activities to be involved with. Great place for active 55+ adults!! Great spot being right next to shopping. I wish there was a grocery store in walking distance but the nearest store is not far away. But I have so many other shopping choice next door.
