Greenlake Senior Living Communities

They were great about communicating and keeping us up to-date on Grandma's well being. She was well taken care of. She didn't participate in activities or going to the dinning hall. They were kind and understanding when Grandma passed. However they did not make it clear that once a resident passes away that they charge you for two weeks regardless of quick you clean out the room.

They are short staffed at Emerald City Senior Living all of the time, but the dining staff is really great as well as the chef. The activities directory is great also. For the most part the staff members are lovely.

Tri-Cities Retirement Inn, Toured November 2022: STAFF: Incredible! This residence had the MOST CARING, gentle, polite staff I've seen on ANY tour. First Impression Desk was the BEST and knowledgeable about everything! The tour guide I had stopped to help two residents in the kindest way. It was heartwarming! The Director took unlimited time to speak with me and she was wonderful! She has retained the same staff for YEARS and that definitely says something for her management style. FOOD: Kitchen was incredibly organized to meet the residents' needs! I mean, WOW! ROOMS: Pretty tired-looking, old fixtures, inexpensive finishes. Carpets and closet doors need replacing. RESIDENCE: Not great curb appeal. Smokers in the breezeway; it was snowing outside & they wanted to stay undercover! The inside of the building is tired, but they are updating the common areas. It looked like it was going to be a lot nicer looking when they completed this project! FINAL DECISION: Siblings said "no."

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff communication with the family has been good, and they reach out anytime there is a change with my loved one. The staff take great care of the residents. The meals always look good.

The staff are extremely caring but some are not real knowledgeable about the appropriate level of care and the length of time it takes for care to arrive once paged often exceeds 30-45 minutes.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The atmosphere is very friendly. The price is reasonable. The residents are given a lot of freedom. There are some activities for the residents to enjoy.

This community was really nice it just did not have the availability when I needed to secure a spot for my loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good tour but the community sits right next to a busy street and we didn't want our loved one to listen to all the busy traffic

Our loved one is a on a liquid diet so we aren't sure how the meals actually are, but from the looks of the meals they look quite good. We have only had experience with the memory care side, but from what we can see on the assisted living side it seems like more of a stimulating environment.

I think they've been upfront with things and kept me posted with what's going on. They're very friendly. It's hard to know what exactly is going on without being able to go inside to see your loved one. But they've been good at communicating with me. They seem to be on top of her care. They noticed something out of the ordinary with her health and got her to the hospital in a timely manner.

We have not been able to visit in awhile due to COVID, but from our understanding the activities that had to offer beforehand are fine. The rooms at this community would be a five out of five, and we would recommend this community

Good care but pricey and a lot of changes

Very nice place but small rooms. Very clean and the residents seemed to be very happy. The representative is very informative

I learned about assisted living and I'm glad I visited Brookdale. Before I make any move decisions I need to talk to my current apt. owners about how soon and how much my current rent is going to go up. This is the closest place to my son and I will stay here as long as I can afford to do so. Thanks for your help. I've learned important information. Very nice. Good staff. Right size.

I was satisfied with the tour that I had received from this community. The staff where very friendly and made sure to take there time with our visit and answer and questions we had for them in detail. The property was very well maintained and had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents.

Mapel Leaf Assisted Living was a nice community but it was not all one level. There were a lot of wheelchair ramps and I just did not see that working out well for my loved one. It was not the best fit.

I thought that this place was very clean and well maintained by all the staff and residents. They where very welcoming to my dear friend and I and kept things very professional during our visit. I especially liked the menu they had available as well as the activity log they had for the week. It was just not the right fit of location for him. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone interested in an assisted living.

The Brookdale Renton was clean and everyone was very friendly. They did not take my mother because of the level of care that she required, but they helped me out a lot with questions on Medicaid and really appreciated that.
