They are very supportive and other members are great made good friends here. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and it is certainly big enough for me!

5 for everything except food, 3 for food. What we like the most about the community is the great staff and the open, quality environment. Yes, we would recommend Portside at Grande Dunes communities to other families based on the experience so far.

my father-in-law LOVES the art classes! I do recommend Northgate Park to others all the time! We feel very fortunate to have found Northgate Park!

My husband had a nice room, they took great care of him, especially [name removed] and [name removed]...the whole staff was great. [name removed], the director, was amazing.

The facility is beautiful. The food is delicious. They have a gym and library that my mom enjoys. My dad liked the pub and fellowship there. They provide transportation to stores and doctors. They have lots of extracurricular activities. My mom likes her new apt with a patio.

The staff is professional and always willing to help with questions. There are a variety of things to do daily and people who will do the activities with me. The menu is printed and there is a alternative menu that allows a good variety of food.

What we like the most about the community is just the overall atmosphere of your facility. The staff and fellow residents are just all so nice and welcoming. I feel fortunate that my sister is living in a safe and friendly place that she calls home!

This place isn't perfect - no retirement community is. However, I want to compliment [name removed]. She's the Activity Director and does an OUTSTANDING job. There are at least 2 activities scheduled per week, often more. I lived here 3 years ago, for 3 years, and at that time, the then Activity Director scheduled 1 activity every two weeks. Besides the excellent job [name removed] does as Activity Director, she frequently pitches in to help other staff members. For example, she has no responsibilities re. food service or serving, but regularly pitches in and helps serve meals. In addition to her work, she's always professionally dressed (several staff members are not) and friendly to all. I don't know what her salary is, but she deserves a significant raise.

She is very happy there. She is not always thrilled with food. She basically meat, mashed potatoes and vegetables with seasoning and butter. But she likes the chicken strips so she eats them if the food is not what she likes. That would be her only complaint. She only complains about food. The staff, community, and facility no complaints. Overall all she seems content .

I rate each category a 5. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend The Summit to anyone. Yes, we would recommend The Summit of Germantown to other families based on the experience so far.

The Pointe at Meridian is a beautiful facility and the staff are very caring and helpful including when mom had to go on hospice they shined in every respect in dealing with mom and family members through the end. God bless The Pointe at Meridian and A Place For Mom in helping our family.

The whole experience has been THE BEST! Heather, the administrator went out of her way to help our family. [name removed], the dining room server is SO friendly. My parents have been playing bingo and poker and have people they say hello to every day!

No complaints on all fronts. What I like most, you feel like you're accepted in their community.

When visiting TN we looked at multiple places in the area that were somewhat within my aunt's limited funds. My parents had researched places nearest her home, but were not within her budget. A place for mom, listened and took into consideration my aunt's level of care needs as well as financial hardship. They sent us a list, as well as connected us through phone and email to each location that fit within these guidelines. We did all this within 1-2 days. (visited, decision and move in!) We visited each place and hands down The summit of Germantown far exceeded ANYthing we thought possible, and we have seen a lot! Here are some positives: Staff- from the front desk, to the kitchen crew, to the administration everyone is very welcoming and kind. It feels like a community from the front door on! My aunt started in independent living and had a bedroom, kitchen and living room. After almost a year in this setting, it was time for us to move her to assisted living and my mom was not eager to make this decision due to fear of losing freedoms and self worth as well as dropping down in size of living space. On my visit we looked at rooms and decided that it was in the best interest of my aunt as my mom was paying additionally for someone to come in to help with meds, baths, and daily living. (Upon moving her to an efficiency style room where they provided the furniture if we wanted (we did use theirs) my aunt's reaction on entering the room set up- "It's so big!") Setting- Clean, safe, easy to maneuver. The summit has each level of care needed : independent, assisted, and memory care! There are TV's in the main spaces, activities galore, fireplaces where residents gather, decor that is warm and inviting throughout! It has always looked and smelled clean- and I never schedule a visit, I just pop in! My aunt is now in an efficiency style housing on the assisted living floor and EVERYONE is so nice, welcoming, helpful, upbeat. From the residents to the staff I have nothing bad to say. I am a RN and have seen many many things and The summit surpaces all expectations. Negative- I only have oneish, and it isn't that big of a deal... We were not aware of the need for a TB check prior to changing care levels. Also, getting the cable turned on in the room we were moving to took longer than we anticipated... Again, we did each move in or around very quickly as I was only in town for a few days, so not much prep time on either participant's part... overall.... This is nothing that we weren't able to overcome. The facility worked with the Dr's office to get the necessary tests done quickly to get her transfer completed in a timely manner. I was asked to rate The summit of Germantown on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the best- I would give it a 10. No joke. We love them and tell everyone about them! I hope they have room for everyone that needs one!! If rating A place for mom, I would also rate them high- maybe a 9, only because they checked it too often sometimes!! the facilities we were offered called and texted so much on the front end it was hard to concentrate on getting the move done! How often can we say nowadays that people over did their job!! I'd rather this than not calling me and me needing info. Summit- keep up the good job! We appreciate you and your resources.

I enjoy living at Sedgwick Plaza. I have been here a little over a year. Love it! I would recommend to others.

We rate The Summit a very strong 5! We have been pleased beyond description with virtually every aspect of our experience here! We are very thankful to [name removed]for guiding us here. When either I or my wife becomes deceased or incapacitated, we might need to contact APFM for nursing home references. Don't know when that might happen, but we hope it will be several years from now.

We 've been very pleased with Brookdale Springs. It's been a year since we moved in. The staff is very warm, friendly and helpful. It's very clean. The happy hour is so entertaining and fun. Residents are friendly and seem content with Brookdale. New management begins [date removed]. Name changed to Inspiration of Mesa. We hope it Continues services as well as Brookdale.
