Care giver are good with the patient and good food always on tops of everything

We went with Genesis because of the convenient location to me. The English spoken from the the staff is not so good so something things get lost in translation. The room we had was the size of a closet, it was barely big enough to put a twin sized bed in. Overall I would recommend them to others looking for a smaller community, it is a one story home.

We chose Genesis because of the convenient location and also the house itself. The size of the place for the number of residents is perfect. You can tell that she fit in because it really is set up like a home instead of an institution. They keep you very informed, I am always getting videos of her doing things like exercising. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We chose Genisis Senior Place because of the availability. The room sizes here are on the smaller side. I would want others to know that Genisis is a chain, and this is a brand new house. On the plus side, they are not full. On the minus side, they are not particularly experienced in their care and running the house. I would recommend this community for anybody who does not have dementia.

I am the brother of a resident and the care and that's received is caring, professional and friendly. My loved one is also safe.

Overall clean, safe environment. Meals could be a little more American type selection.

We were very impressed with the very caring, well trained staff who strive to give personal attention to each individual and tend to their needs. They were eager to ease and accommodated our requests whenever possible. Mom had a private room with nice view and plenty of light. Mom did get bored because she was more active than other guests and they did not provide enough activity to keep her occupied. They did take her for a walk every day which she enjoyed. It would have been better if she had her own tv in her room. Upon request they provided a very nice portable radio/CD player.

My sister is always clean and her needs are taken care of. The staff is kind and helpful. I’ve heard nothing negative from any visitors.

Mom is finally starting to settle in well here.She seems to be very content and happy. The staff is taking very good care of her and my dad is very happy. Mom seems to be liking the food she eats it all. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this community

STAFF ARE FRIENDLY.CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.VERY PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE.I HAVE RECOMMENDED THE SMALL HOME SETTING FOR LOVED ONES OVER A NURSING HOME.

Lucille, my moms caregiver, is an "outstanding caregiver" by showing her kindness and attention to her needs on a daily basis. My only suggestion would be to have more stimulating activities for this clients.

Lucille is a great caregiver! I know my mom is getting the best care from her.

visited Genesis property on 13 Mile Rd in Warren. Nice set up, but disappointed that Ferdinand was not there to answer questions Nice staff, unsure we would place mom in male/female setting

Overall things have gone very well with Genesis Senior Living! It's a smaller community, and the facility itself is extremely clean and well kept. The staff have all been very friendly and professional, and seem to take great care of the residents! They also seem to have a fairly good variety of activities going on. One area they could stand to improve would be the food. The quality is fine, it just seems a little plain and repetitive at times.

Home is clean and in a nice area. The owner and caregivers are caring. Residents look very well cared for. My dad is higher functioning than the other residents here.

NOTE: Canterbury Dr in Warren full. Toured new, unoccupied Clearview Cir in Sterling Hts instead. Good looking home & street. Horseshoe driveway & handicap front ramp. Nice patio/backyard. Private & semi-private rms. Wheelchair accessible shower. Owners are RN & Phys Therapist. Always 2 staff during day, 1 @ night. Exercises & activities. Visiting Dr, Nurses, PT/OT/ST. Escort to Dr appts. Nails/beauty services. Cable, phone, Internet. Respite & short-term stays available. If interested, $500 reserves bed for 1 wk only.

I find the community clean and friendly. The staff is pleasant and easy to talk with, although not easy to understand because of their accent. The caregivers are kind. I feel this place meets our needs sufficiently

Spacious, beautifully furnished home on busy road. Nice patio. Semi-private rms,1 private for women & men. Carpeted liv rm. Clean. Residents seemed comfortable. Simple lunches, larger dinner. Minimal activities. Van for outings. Visiting PT, OT & Drs.
