The tour I had with the staff at this community was great at letting me get an insight. I felt that they were a small community and although it was a nice, suitable place it was not for us.

My mother received very good care in the Butler St home in Troy. I am very grateful to [Removed], his wife, and their staff who are kind and capable of caring for the elderly in very respectful manner. Thank you for being there! [Removed]

Genesis is an excellent organization from top to bottom with competent and caring staff. This is the model for senior living and raises the standards for the rest. I appreciate everything they have done for my loved one and for relieving me of the burdens and stress of his situation. I could only hope that there will be such a place for me as I grow old, knowing how difficult it will be for my children to cope with life and death decisions.

The staff is terrific & most caring. The surroundings are pleasant & peaceful. I enjoy living here!

The facility is bright, cheery & very clean. The staff is excellent in their care of the residents. They are always helpful & caring. My husband & I are very grateful. For the care Margie is getting here.

Caring, loving, clean beautiful backyard, good cooking, comfortable, easy moving around in house also, a safe place to live.

The facility is very clean & my dad is very well taken care of. There are only 5 – 6 clients at this facility with two great care givers. They are very attentive, caring & interactive with all the clients. I would highly recommend this facility.

I was referred to genesis by "A place for mom".It's just been 3 weeks now but I am extremely pleased with the care my 96 year old aunt is receiving.The house is immaculate and the staff is friendly,caring & attentive, with 2 caretakers for 6 residents,she is getting far more personal care than in a larger facility.The staff have gone out of their way to accommodate my aunt's preferences,especially regarding food requests and the temperature of her room,care takers are always present & willing to address any questions or concerns.I was looking for a place where the residents are still active and mentally alert - this fits the bill!

I have received the best of care by a capable and concerned staff. They monitor my condition several times daily; and ensure that any problems are remedied or treated as necessary. I have no negative comments.

Very happy with the facility. I haven't seen a whole lot of activities. A lady comes in with a guitar and they get taken outside. The ones that are there does not participate.

This wonderful home was a godsend. Ferdinand and his staff provided exceptional, compassionate care and went beyond my expectations. They played music, sang, and even brought breakfast to us during the last week of Mom's life when family members spent the night. They provide a structured lifestyle that includes exercise and crafts. This is a delightful home - a blessing!
