I was referred to genesis by "A place for mom".It's just been 3 weeks now but I am extremely pleased with the care my 96 year old aunt is receiving.The house is immaculate and the staff is friendly,caring & attentive, with 2 caretakers for 6 residents,she is getting far more personal care than in a larger facility.The staff have gone out of their way to accommodate my aunt's preferences,especially regarding food requests and the temperature of her room,care takers are always present & willing to address any questions or concerns.I was looking for a place where the residents are still active and mentally alert - this fits the bill!

It is such a blessing and relief to know my mom is in this community where she is cared for such kindness and compassion. She is clean, safe, the house is well cared for. Staff works very hard and ensure all residents needs are met.

Very happy with the facility. I haven't seen a whole lot of activities. A lady comes in with a guitar and they get taken outside. The ones that are there does not participate.

This wonderful home was a godsend. Ferdinand and his staff provided exceptional, compassionate care and went beyond my expectations. They played music, sang, and even brought breakfast to us during the last week of Mom's life when family members spent the night. They provide a structured lifestyle that includes exercise and crafts. This is a delightful home - a blessing!

Its much nicer than a nursing home. You get more care than a nursing home. The value is better because its less expensive. I was very happy with it. The Genesis Senior Living 3 is a nice community. I would recommend it.

The care provided for my parents in this residential home and Genesis care is far superior than anything that would take place in a assisted care or nursing home facility. Two care providers for five people...so personal and as close of maintaining them in their own home as possible.

My father is doing much better since we moved him to genesy . He was failing badly at American House Stone, not able to get him enough personal care, so its been wonderful to see him rallying with better care and attention. I wish we had known about this place sooner. He seems very happy there.

This senior living home is very clean and the residents and staff are so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of for your loved one. The food always smells wonderful and we are told it is really good as well. The staff are so competent and caring.. We could not have found a more perfect home for Mom to live in...it's like she is with family.

It's my understanding, that they are opening up another home or two in Troy area, and it is good to know and have possible options in the future, down the road. It depends on how my Mother is doing health wise. Rating this community is strictly by observing and would be able to get a better grip on answering these questions if my Mother was actually living there.
