Took a tour of the facility with Nancy. The apts were very nice. Nancy was very kind and answered all of my questions. Even got a follow-up phone call from Sue. I thought that it was very thoughtful. Unfortuantly the cost did not work out.

this is a beautiful fasility and seems very dedicated.

"generally" staff is very competent. The rent is reasonable compared to other assisted living companies. Meals are good. Presentation of food needs improvement.

Mom says food is excellent. Apartment is nice. Staff is very nice. Daily activities. I would highly recommend.

The administration claims the facility is completely wheelchair accessible and I don't think understand that term. Most of the apartments are not free of impediments. They could improve on activities by having some of them after dinner and just have more creative activities. They only do the kind of things you would expect at a place like this.

Recently, residents got a letter (from management) asking us to submit reviews. (I have been there since [date removed] It is OK but I am unable to compare it with other facilities.) My son lives in Ypsilanti, so he does not have to drive too much.

When I originally took a tour, Brookhaven felt like home. I have recommended living here to several people.

We chose Brookhaven Manor because It was closest to my own home, a great value for a really great facility, and we liked the staff (although I understand 2-3 were fired immediately after she moved in). There was no "orientation" on move in which would have been helpful. Mom still not sure my mom knows how to use the laundry, where trash goes, or if she's ever ventured to other floors (where the library and exercise and movie things are located)

Brookhaven Manor has a friendly environment with great company and staff! I always look forward to playing BINGO each week with all of the other residents here. I also enjoy the dining room because I always meet new people and get to enjoy meals with friendly faces.

it seems to be a nice place to live, pleasant staff, adequate space. food could be more interesting but it's better than I prepared for myself. I've only been here a week or so.

This is a comfortable place to live. The help are all very friendly and helpful. They moved very well during the pandemic- requiring mask, limiting visitors and separating residents from close connections. Consequently we had no Covid infections and no deaths. The food is usually good. The rooms are clean and I like living at Brookhaven Manor.

Excellent staff and maintenance. Very comfortable apartments. Staff and residents very friendly. Great location. Well priced w/ no buy-in.

It would be great if our new ED would make herself more available and take more interest in our residents and the running of Brookhaven Manor.

I've always thought I'd never move into a senior retirement apt community especially after seeing the places my mother and her sister (my aunt) spent time in. And I delayed several months when the time came it became obvious and I needed to leave my beautiful home on the lake. But after living here for just over 3 months I realize that my negative thoughts were unnecessary. They are lots of activities to participate in. Things have been curtailed due to COVID-19. The food is exceptional and the people who live and work here are very open, friendly, and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent staff. They are always willing to answer any questions. This has been a difficult year but we have very good leaders. They have made sure all the rules have been followed so we will be safe.

Although the pandemic has made things difficult here, the staff has managed very well. very gradually activities, dining, and the resident's ability to get about. Thanks to friends and family have been restored.

I have been here 6 weeks and have no complaints. Friendly staff and outstanding food - very clean.
