My father is the resident and the only thing that he really wish would be better with the food, but I'm sure you hear that a lot. Yes, we would recommend The Sterling Aventura to other families based on the experience so far.

I think that for people that don't need any special care , this place exceed any expectation. But in the case my mom , with disability, and level 3 of care , sometimes I get very frustrated. They don't exceed my expectations. I would recommend this place for any person with lower level of care . For sure.

The facility was clean and well maintained. The staff was responsive to my parents needs whenever I brought something up. The food was very good. The rooms were spacious. Although my parents were bilingual, their first language was Spanish, so I do wish that they would've had some more Spanish-speaking staff.

We have moved my 95 year old mother to assisted living gor the first time. Staff at the Sterling were very supportive and did everything they could to make the transition a success. Very pleased with the Sterling

They are always friendly to family and mostly they are kind and caring to my father-in-law. His personal space not always as clean as we would like. But father in law has toleting issues and without prompt attention it's a no win situation. Extra cleanup is very often needed and not always timely. Overall, he seems to like the food. Overall, it's a pretty good place.

I haven't seen one staff member that has not been helpful, and cheerful. My father had to move to memory care and I just recently got the added money from the VA to pay for it. I just received notice they are increasing rates $[removed] a month so I might have to move him

There was an issue with disruptive noise from a neighbor that was resolved quickly. Repairs and maintenance requests have been responsive. Activities coordinator does make personal calls to residents to involve them. There is on-site physical therapy (third party) and a hair dresser, which are nice extras.

I would say they did a great job and I would highly recommend.

I just think the aides should do more but I understand it's an assisted living. They are nice but don't go that extra step. I'm sure it's just that I think they should. I'm disappointed in the meals. Mom is a vegetarian and they don't have a good menu. However she doesn't ask for anything special.

My mom has been at The Sterling for about 8 months now. There is always an activity or class happening - exercise, art, chats to learn about different countries, etc. the activities director is also great about making sure residents stay active and social and do ‘t stay in their rooms all day. There are regular live music happy hours in the lobby and different events for special occasions. All meals are served restaurant style in a community dining room with a different special each day and a set menu of items like hamburgers. There is a resident nurse and there is always someone at the nurse’s station in case of emergencies. I’m able to have things delivered via Amazon and Target easily. My mom will pick up packages at the front desk or if the package is large, a staff member will bring it to her room. Overall, my mom has adjusted well and it’s easy for me to visit and stay in communication with the staff to make sure all is going well.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Sterling Aventura and the overall experience was good for her at this facility. Based on the experience, I would recommend The Sterling Aventura to others.

Overall we have been very happy with the experience at The Sterling Aventura.

Overall, the staff is very good. The move in was easy and they went out of their way to make it happen. Housekeeping is good. The meals are nice and special celebration meals are nicely done. They no longer have in house hair/nails, which is disappointing. Transportation is also very limited and could be available more days and hours. Billing and working with long term care insurance has been painful. I would recommend this facility to others. For the money, it is very nice. They were very accommodating and have many excellent staff.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Atrium at Boca Raton. The lower level staff seem to be a little unfriendly and communication with family members and upper level medical staff could be improved. However, I still would recommend The Atrium to others.

I would say that The Atrium at Boca Raton is an above average facility. It is not a skilled nursing facility, so that is an important part. My father-in-law went in with a catheter. There were limited things that they could do for him. We could have an outside agency come in and take care of a few of the medical needs that he needed support with. The place is clean. The food is good. My father-in-law does not complain about it. The atmosphere is nice. There is no smell to the place, which is I think the important part is. There's a wide range of people there, as far as age! They have a beauty salon and they have different activities. They have a bus that takes them out for shopping, to the doctor and those kind of things. As for the move in process, we did most of it ourselves. I think if I'd had someone come in and just move things, it might've been easier. I was kind of surprised that it was a bare room and that you had to provide everything, including the bed. So there's a little kitchenette, there's a closet in the bathroom, but there are no tables chairs, TV, or anything. Everything is provided by the resident.

It took a while to get use to assisted living. It is different that independent living, but the staff have worked to make it pleasant. The activities department here has been what I have enjoyed the most.

We have had nothing but the best treatment from the staff at The Sterling Aventura thus far. And our mother has received excellent care there. I would recommend it to other families.

The staff was very attentive to Moms needs and were very patient with her as her health declined.

I am a Third party professional that work in Colonial of the Palm Beaches sometimes. The facility is well ran as every staff member are welcoming and compassionate. There are daily activities and holidays are very exciting and inclusive. it is definitely more then employment to Colonial of the Palm Beach staff. The facility is very clean, the staff go the extra miles for residents and visitors. I would not hesitate to place my family member at Colonial Palm Beach.

I would give it overall score of four and that's only because they are doing renovations on the hair salon and carpets need to be replaced but otherwise it would be a five star experience. My mother is very happy there! Versus prices of renting an apartment with live in care in Miami, this is much better value. The activities Director [name removed] is excellent and takes personal care of everyone on staff, nurse, [name removed]-, and head mark people meet with first. All of them take personal attention and pride in taking care of my mother and making her happy and they have excellent activities for them.
