Experience Senior Living

We are looking at facilities for my in-laws. This place is beautiful. Very clean! The layout of the facility is exactly what we are looking for. Definitely at the top of our list. My in-laws our 85 yo and will need care soon. They both are showing signs of dementia.

The staff at Sancerre Orange City are wonderful. The DON [name removed] is so helpful and takes excellent care of the residents. [name removed], the nurse in memory care is also awesome. They both care so much for the residents. I would not hesitate to move my loved one into this building.

My mother transferred from another assisted living facility to Sancerre earlier this year. She has been much happier since she transferred. No facility is perfect but Sancerre does a very good job and we couldn’t be happier about her move. It’s always clean, the people are always nice, the residents all seem to be happy. I highly recommend Sancerre to you or your loved ones.

Love this place, everyone is wonderful. Treated well.

The Memory Care Unit at the Gallery At Cape Coral and their staff are outstanding, and truly a blessing to us and my mother. The facility is clean, and the staff is caring, compassionate, and attentive. They kept my mother engaged socially with activities throughout the day, made sure she ate and her needs were attended to. Their director went above and beyond to meet not only my mother needs, but her families as well. I felt that my mother was in good hands while living at The Gallery.

We love having family at Sancerre. The staff is excellent with the patients. They keep patients busy in memory care . Food is very good. Facility is clean and like a home. No better place for our relatives to live than at this wonderful facillity.

The employees and residents greet you with great respect and contagious smiles . Very clean and friendly facility! Everyone looks happy and busy doing activities God bless the employees and residents at this facility

I recently visited the gallery at port orange and was struck by the level of care given to the patients. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. It is a beautiful well kept property. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and as far as the restaurant goes . It was top notch . My relative is very well taken care of and this makes our family very happy . Thank you for all you do .

We greatly appreciate the staff giving up their holiday to make ours so nice. A fantastic lunch was served for residents and their families. Food was delicious. Warm and friendly environment for all. Thank you again.

I think the Gallery at North Port, is an outstanding facility. I meet with their reps, before having my stepmom, committing to reside there. Their public areas, daily activities, and residential living areas, are top notch. I was told the food choices and quality of items served, were also great. I noticed a lot of residents commingling together. A very good sign too. When it's my turn to consider other options, there would be no reason for me not to go to the Gallery, as my 1st choice.

Found "A place for Mom" online and called the contact number for the area my Mom lives in South Florida and wants to remain in for the foreseeable future. Talked with a Rep who was very knowledegable and accommodating. She was able to set up a number of tours to Senior Communities in that area which I was able to take my Mom to and visit with the staff and residents. My Mom, 88, wouldn't have done this on her own. But she was willing and interested in seeing what was available. I recall my Brother and I were were very impressed with the Gallery's apartment accommodations, as well as amenities, like the Pool and Dining Room as well as the friendliness of the staff and residents. We thought it was the best of what we had seen during our brief time investigating what would convince our Mom to willingly leave her home of 30 years. She is very happy at the Gallery and says she feels like she's staying at a resort with so many things to do! We feel it's a very good place for her to thrive.

The facility is fabulous but the staff and healthcare workers are remarkable. I am Over The Top pleased with the care my brother is receiving at Sancerre. He adjusted quite nicely to moving from his own home to Sancerre’s Assisted Living. They strive to create a sense of community for their residents which helps greatly in the transition to Assisted Living. Would highly recommend Sancerre.

I was a little unhappy though with the nurse practitioner ordering labs without reason. Mom's GP said that needed to stop so we requested he not see Mom without being requested to do so. The food staff is good about remembering the residents preferences, front desk is good about communicating messages and greeting visitors, bus drivers are good with taking residents to appointments.

We feel grateful that my mother's final days were spent in such a cheerful and loving environment as mom would say "Et Viola."

She loves it there and everything about the Gallery is top notch! The facility is more deluxe than any other place we saw in the area. Also, the staff is consistent with very little turnover. My mom is always clean, well dressed and her room is spotless.

This is based on my telephone conversations with floor staff and administrative staff. I could also see on the facility's Facebook page that they offered many activities. Unfortunately, Mom was not a joiner and for the most part, did not participate. The care services and meals and dining are impossible for me to judge having not observed them directly. My sister and a daughter observed both and told me the rooms, hallways and the ancillary rooms looked clean and did not smell. They offered no opinion of the food.

My father had to go into assisted-living due to a deterioration if his mobility at 92 he was very independent person who would never dreamed of going into assisted-living but it’s been a pretty pleasant transition for him and he adjusted well in his studio apartment. The facility is very clean there. The people are friendly and cheerful and I feel much better, he is safe and secure with people around him than his own at his house

I chose Demaree Crossing for my mom basically by the looks of it. It's very nice, clean, open concept...overall a wonderful place to live. She is in memory care but the staff through-out the whole facility is excellent...they are very caring, very helpful, very attentive, and most importantly they treat my mother with love and respect. She has a very nice room that we decorated with mom's own furniture and personal things to make it 'her' home. The food is great, the dining area is very nice, and they have so many activities for their residents to participate in if they choose to. They do exercises every day, play games, watch TV in an open area, and do creative activities making things, etc. They can even get their fingernails polished if they want to! There is also an outside patio area where they can take a walk and sit outside to get some fresh air. I am so pleased with Demaree Crossing and will tell everyone I know that Demaree Crossing is the absolute Best!

[name removed] would say "It's ok". I love it and would highly recommend it! They need to figure out a more efficient way to serve everyone in the dining room. Food is very delicious! Cost is expensive but I guess they all are. Am medication times vary quite a bit but I think in all categories they are trying and are open to suggestions. Again I would highly recommend and I believe I did a lot of searching to finally pick HC. 1st impression security, cleanliness and very "homelike" feeling.
