Experience Senior Living

Found "A place for Mom" online and called the contact number for the area my Mom lives in South Florida and wants to remain in for the foreseeable future. Talked with a Rep who was very knowledegable and accommodating. She was able to set up a number of tours to Senior Communities in that area which I was able to take my Mom to and visit with the staff and residents. My Mom, 88, wouldn't have done this on her own. But she was willing and interested in seeing what was available. I recall my Brother and I were were very impressed with the Gallery's apartment accommodations, as well as amenities, like the Pool and Dining Room as well as the friendliness of the staff and residents. We thought it was the best of what we had seen during our brief time investigating what would convince our Mom to willingly leave her home of 30 years. She is very happy at the Gallery and says she feels like she's staying at a resort with so many things to do! We feel it's a very good place for her to thrive.

The facility is fabulous but the staff and healthcare workers are remarkable. I am Over The Top pleased with the care my brother is receiving at Sancerre. He adjusted quite nicely to moving from his own home to Sancerre’s Assisted Living. They strive to create a sense of community for their residents which helps greatly in the transition to Assisted Living. Would highly recommend Sancerre.

I was a little unhappy though with the nurse practitioner ordering labs without reason. Mom's GP said that needed to stop so we requested he not see Mom without being requested to do so. The food staff is good about remembering the residents preferences, front desk is good about communicating messages and greeting visitors, bus drivers are good with taking residents to appointments.

We feel grateful that my mother's final days were spent in such a cheerful and loving environment as mom would say "Et Viola."

She loves it there and everything about the Gallery is top notch! The facility is more deluxe than any other place we saw in the area. Also, the staff is consistent with very little turnover. My mom is always clean, well dressed and her room is spotless.

This is based on my telephone conversations with floor staff and administrative staff. I could also see on the facility's Facebook page that they offered many activities. Unfortunately, Mom was not a joiner and for the most part, did not participate. The care services and meals and dining are impossible for me to judge having not observed them directly. My sister and a daughter observed both and told me the rooms, hallways and the ancillary rooms looked clean and did not smell. They offered no opinion of the food.

My father had to go into assisted-living due to a deterioration if his mobility at 92 he was very independent person who would never dreamed of going into assisted-living but it’s been a pretty pleasant transition for him and he adjusted well in his studio apartment. The facility is very clean there. The people are friendly and cheerful and I feel much better, he is safe and secure with people around him than his own at his house

I chose Demaree Crossing for my mom basically by the looks of it. It's very nice, clean, open concept...overall a wonderful place to live. She is in memory care but the staff through-out the whole facility is excellent...they are very caring, very helpful, very attentive, and most importantly they treat my mother with love and respect. She has a very nice room that we decorated with mom's own furniture and personal things to make it 'her' home. The food is great, the dining area is very nice, and they have so many activities for their residents to participate in if they choose to. They do exercises every day, play games, watch TV in an open area, and do creative activities making things, etc. They can even get their fingernails polished if they want to! There is also an outside patio area where they can take a walk and sit outside to get some fresh air. I am so pleased with Demaree Crossing and will tell everyone I know that Demaree Crossing is the absolute Best!

[name removed] would say "It's ok". I love it and would highly recommend it! They need to figure out a more efficient way to serve everyone in the dining room. Food is very delicious! Cost is expensive but I guess they all are. Am medication times vary quite a bit but I think in all categories they are trying and are open to suggestions. Again I would highly recommend and I believe I did a lot of searching to finally pick HC. 1st impression security, cleanliness and very "homelike" feeling.

I wish there were more activities on a daily basis.

The staff are all extremely friendly and outgoing. They are very adaptable to you needs and wants. House keeping is meticulous. In my sister's apartment on the independent side, they will do a good cleaning once a week on a schedule so she can plan accordingly. The food is very good. The chief is truly interested in what you think. My sister doesn't eat red meat and we asked if they had veggie burgers or any substitutes. They didn't, but he worked with her and now they have a few options for the non red meat person. He really listens to you. The move is was smooth, no issues.

My husband and I were looking for a facility for his mother, and we needed to find one quickly for her. We were directed to visit several assisted living possibilities by “A Place for Mom”, Demaree Crossing being one. Upon visiting, we found the Administrator to be very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely quick with any questions we asked. She showed us several apartment types that we could look at to try that would most meet my mother-in-laws needs. We found the facility clean, friendly, and with an activity going on. I felt it to have warmth. It had a turn around time quite suitable and enough staff to be able to meet her needs and make us feel totally comfortable and confident to meet our loved one’s needs. Something we all hope for our parents!

The Gallery is not only beautiful but is full of life and happy residents! I was glad to have my loved one there! My grandma was so pleased with the food and weekly entertainment as well. She was well taken care of and loved getting her hair done on site.

Sancerre is a very dedicated community and I believe the best place for our loved one.

Sancerre is an excellent AL/Memory care residence. My mom absolutely loves it and is thriving in Memory Care. The executive director and all the staff are caring and treat residents as if they were family! The facility is spotless.

Employees are wonderful, caring, helpful, responsive and service orientated. Food is very good. Activities are diversified so everyone can participate. Residents all appear happy as do all of the workers.

I am recommending you two others. I think you have the best place in town even though I've only been two or three others.Our attorney suggested we check out your facility and it is definitely very very nice and I really like all the staff I met.

Visited Sancerre with JROTC Cadets during holiday events. We enjoyed meeting with residents and the staff was welcoming & wonderful!

The entire staff at Sancerre in Palm Coast go above and beyond! They are caring, sensitive to the resident's needs, interactive, and supportive of the family members. Food is nutritious, delicious, and varied. Love this residence.
