My stepdad was in the memory unit. The staff were very attentive to him a made his stay more comfortable. I also worked with a hospice patient in the memory unit. I was so impressed with the care he received. It was a pleasure to work with them. My mother is now in Assisted Living. The facility is always so clean and inviting.

Cedarbrook Village in Ware is a pleasant surprise. My family and I found it to be not too big, but still have plenty of room to move around. Everything is very clean, and all the residents that we met there seemed very happy, and very friendly. The food is excellent, and there is plenty to choose from. The gym has a little of everything. The apartments are well sized, well equipped, and modern. There are meals included, so you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to. There is plenty of staff to assist you as much or as little as you need. And the crown jewel was our hostess for the day, the community sales Director!!She answered all of our questions with the patience of a saint! I would highly recommend if you were in the market for independent/assisted living that you check out Cedarbrook Village in Ware. You won’t be disappointed!

It's always a difficult decision when a parent can't live alone anymore. After exploring several options, we felt that Elmbrook provided a place where our mom would feel most at home. The building is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The dining room looks like a five star restaurant and offers a variety of healthy options for all meals. There are a variety of activities each day to help our mom socialize and connect with others: a movie theater,games, happy hour during the week, a fitness room, field trips, craft making and special events. Elmbrook has different levels of care from independent living to memory care. They worked with us to find the best fit for our mom. They are always willing to answer our questions and address our concerns. We feel we made the right choice for our mom. She seems to be adjusting well to her new home, but it wouldn't have happened without all the support from the friendly and caring staff at Elmbrook.

I love it here and I like the friends I have made. Some of my favorite things to do here is to crochet, sing in the choir, and play bingo. I have been here since the end of August so going on four months. I also like the transportation.

I toured here and enjoyed what I saw. It was clean and staff was nice seems there are a lot for the residents to do. I just don’t think it is the right time for my mom I would recommend to others.

My brother and I can’t say enough about Stonebrook Village. Since we obtained an Assisted Living Apartment for our Mom, we have been extremely grateful and thankful we found such an amazing place for our Mom. Everyone and everything from the front desk, individual staff offices, dining room and waitstaff, nurses, aides, cleaning and maintenance staff are impressive. They are professional, compassionate, supportive, and extremely attentive to their residents and their families. They offer nutritious chef cooked meals, a pub, a movie theater, musical concerts and shows, a gym, and a number of various social activities. It is no wonder that they are rated #1 on the national organization entitled “A Place For Moms”. For any elderly man or woman or couple, I highly recommend Stonebrook Village for the quality of life and care this residence provides.

Without a doubt every member of the staff has gone the extra mile to insure that Mom has gotten the best of care in a secure enviornment. It's easy access to visit Mom from my own home which is only 8 minutes away.

I love everything about living at Elmbrook. My apartment is so nice and beautiful and I love to show it off. I moved in after one of my friends did and it was the best decision I could have made. I've made a lot of friends here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else/

I moved into Elmbrook in September and it has been a very pleasant experience so far. I just started using the exercise room and they got me moving! The rooms are always clean and the staff is always helpful when I ask for a little bit of assistance.

I come to Cedarbrook 2x monthly to host the four clinics. The staff are amazing their interactions with the residents go above beyond any other place I visited. The activities are fun and engaging. I would and have recommend celebrate to many.

Colebrook Village is amazing. We are so blessed to have this community for my mother. The staff is very attentive and polite! Thank you!

Recently our mom fell and broke her pelvis and could not remain at home independently. We contacted Cedarbrook and they did not hesitate to help us. They were able to find a comfortable one-bedroom apartment immediately for her. We were able to furnish it for her with things from home, before she was released from rehab, to make it feel like she was coming home. The staff have been incredible with her, and everyone is reaching out to make sure she has what she needs at all moments of the day. They are welcoming to all of our family and they all know us by name! If we have questions for anyone we reach out and they are answered immediately, and if the person we ask doesn't know the answer it is soon found and quickly communicated to us. We love that there are nurses on the premises and that mom can continue her rehab right there. We have peace of mind knowing that Mom is safe and well cared for, and if she needs anything there is always someone there to reach out to help her.

My mom recently fell and broke her hip. Returning to her home was not an option. Fortunately there was a spot for her at Cedarbrook Village in Ware. The staff was amazing at meeting with us quickly and helping my mom to adjust. It was a major adjustment and she wasn't sure about leaving her home, but the care and comfort provided by Cedarbrook has helped to ease some of her fears. We've met lots of residents who have all been encouraging and friendly. The facility has lots of space, great food (I've already joined her for lunch!) and friendly assistants.

My mother has been living here in the memory care unit for about 6 months now. She absolutely loves all the activities and games, and they keep her busy all day with fun and caring staff. I cannot imagine a better place for her to be cared for. Everyone is so upbeat and positive no matter when I come to visit. And those in charge of the facility are always available and gladly discuss any items you want to discuss with them. I just can't say enough about Colebrook Village and what it has meant for our mother and our entire family.

I have been going to Stonebrook Village for men for at least 3 1/2 years as a community partner. We service patients within the building and the staff has been Good at making sure their residents get the services they need. The building is beautiful and located right off the highway for those who are coming from Massachusetts or just lower Connecticut. I've worked with their other buildings throughout the state and I can say the same about those as well.. I recommend this place for those looking for assisted living lifestyle to move into

My father moved into Memory Care mid July 2024. As his only caretaker it was difficult to let go and trust he would be well cared for. Pout no need to worry- he found his people and the care is loving and excellent. So happy he's here.

Hillsbrook Village has been a wonderful experience and loving community for my parents. Unfortunately, my mom passed in April of this year, so my dad is still living there. The staff and administration were incredible and so helpful during this very hard time and also in my mom's care. They were and continue to be so loving and kind and attentive. My dad has become very active in the growing community and one thing that has made me so happy and confident in, is that the administration really cares about hearing for the residents about what is working and what is not and are continually wanting to make it the best living environment for everyone. It is very much a family there!

While touring many Age in Place options for my mom, I knew immediately Elmbrook Village was the right one. It was meticulously clean, beautifully decorated and offered a large variety of daily activities that built a sense of community, entertained, and stimulated residents neurologically, physically and artistically. In one year's time, due to progressive dementia, Mom moved through various levels of care which currently includes Memory Care. The staff throughout the building, is warm, loving, professional, and provide a sense of comfort knowing my loved one is well cared for in all levels of care. When I think of Elmbrook Village, I think of a life giving environment for loved ones providing them with additional family to age in place with.

I moved into Elmbrook in June. I love my apartment and it is immaculate. I'm typically a loner and have been most of my life. I've started going to activities recently though and have enjoyed them. Overall I am very happy here.

I recently moved into Elmbrook Village and I love it so far. There have been a few positive things for me so far. The food has been great, the staff and other residents have all been amazing, and the air here is so fresh and clean.
