My husband is in the memory care unit. The staff is attentive to his needs as he is non verbal and has difficulty with understanding. Truly I feel blessed every time I walk through the door thet he is well taken care of.

When we took my dad to look at Cedarbrook Village. He was very apprehensive about the move. He’s 95 years old and he lived in his home for over 58 years. He finally made the decision to move in and in one week, he has become a much happier person. the transition for him and to see him so happy in what we are sure will be his last years, has certainly made me as his daughter extremely happy as well. to see how he how he socializes with so many people now and not being so alone and enjoying every piece of atmosphere. The food is outstanding. Everyone is so comfortably nice and has made him feel so welcomed and to be truly at home. we can’t say enough about Mary who brought us through the building, [name removed], who is sitting at the front desk when we enter they always have such big smiles on their faces with such a welcome feeling to everyone who enters this truly has been a very happy week for all involved .

The nursing staff are friendly and attentive. Always willing to work with you to solve a problem. The dining room wait staff are also friendly and try to remember everyone's name and their favorite food or drink. The front staff are cheerful and helpful and get to know the residents. Zack, the finance manager works above and beyond to help with long term insurance claims and making contracts correct. The salon lady is familiar with all her regulars and is extremely flexible. There's really no one who stands out as being difficult to work with.

My dad was here at stone brook village 22 yrs. He loved the place. He was really comfortable here. The staff was really attentive to his needs. Always checking on him. Loved the meals also. Also let us know how he was doing.

I would give them a 5 on all except meals, as I rarely share a meal with him. He has had some issues, good and not so good. Last issue was the food was not hot enough. The rest of his issues seem to be working out.

Elmbrook Village is the best facility by far. What has made it such a great experience so far is just everyone that is included and all the activities. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Everything a 5! Meals and dining maybe a 4. They have been shrinking the size of the individuals meals. Yes, we would wholeheartedly recommend this community to other families. They say they have nurses on staff. But they hide when you are hoping for advice or suggestions!

When it comes to the meals and dining there has been a recent change in dining management/chef/staff, so we are starting to see improvement. However, we would 100% recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. It is a beautiful and spotless facility. There are a variety of activities to choose from daily. But my #1 is definitely the staff. They are the game changer/secret ingredient/icing on the cake.

She's happy at Colebrook Village . She's made a lot of friends and loves the activity . It's very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The food isn't as good as it should be . Some meals are very good though. Compared to other assisted living in the state the price is much lower than for example [facility name removed] assisted living is about 9~10 thousand dollars a month for the same that Colebrook provides. They need bigger portions . My mom in law is a tiny person and she feels the portions are very small . Maybe she should ask for more . Better cooks maybe . They dry out meats especially chicken and didn't even have coffee after their Easter dinner . It was better when she first got there but has changed. However the residents there do tell them what to improve via the suggestion box . The staff are very friendly

Welcoming front desk staff. Executive Director and marketing staff all pleasant and helpful. Answered all of our questions. Provided lots of details for us to consider. All the staff have smiles on their faces when they are working! Very helpful to residents and their families. Extremely clean and well maintained facility. Bright and up to date environment. Wish we made the move sooner.

The facility is amazing and easy to navigate. The nursing and PT staff have done a fantastic job working with mom to motivate her to get stronger and to expand to new activities she can participate in.

Our mom has lived at Colebrook for five years now. We are extremely impressed with how much the staff care! The activities are outstanding and they work hard to find something everyone will enjoy. Colebrook is a very close knit community and they genuinely care about their residents. We frequently compare Colebrook to our other family member's living communities and Colebrook consistently exceeds them in all areas. The building is newer and very clean, staff are wonderful and friendly, and Colebrook's activities are diverse, high quality, and frequent. In one day the number of activities at Colebrook would be similar to the number of other community's activities in a week or even in a month. We consider ourselves blessed that we have Colebrook in our community and that our mom has a safe and wonderful place to live.

Our experience with the staff has been nothing but pleasant, uplifting, and supportive for me and my father.

I would say they should definitely look into it. I went to an open house in the fall with my brother and was very impressed with the facility. It is brand new. Everyone we met was extremely helpful and friendly and I was surprised that the price for a standard and premium unit, which were very roomy , seemed very competitive. I like that it offers independent, assisted and memory care. When my mother-in-laws furniture did not arrive for weeks on end they provided a guest suite for her to stay in. Those people my son and I worked with were extremely helpful.

I have seen my parents gain more independence with out the worries of injury. Sickness, isolation, nutrition deficiency... they with the guidance of the Colebrook staff has found new long lasting friendships and respect throughout the community. I no longer need to worry.

Colebrook Village at Hebron is one of the best senior living communities in the state of CT. The staff truly love their jobs and overflows into the community. This community has little turnover amongst staff and residents because of the joy and love that Colebrook Village radiates. When you enter the doors of Colebrook Village you will always feel welcomed and when you leave you will smile knowing how special this community is.
