Brother stopped by this facility nd really liked it.

I liked this one a lot. The rooms were less appealing, but the rest of it was really nice.

We liked it. We'll probably go back with Mom. It's at the high end of what we were looking for, but is available now and includes everything. It would be nice to help her get back on her feet in this type of setting. They mentioned a one-week trial. I like this idea because it lets me know if she would try and participate in the activities first before I pay for a community that has them.

It takes a little while to adjust, but the staff is wonderful and they help you and show you around. It's great.

The staff here is very caring and professional. The facility is always kept very clean. They do have some activities for the residents, but they seem repetitive, like they are always the same ones. I don't really participate in them. The food could use improvement. It is not very good and there is not enough!

The only problem I had was the extreme pressure and somewhat deceptive practices. They tell you, "There is a special right now, but you have to rent before February 23, three months free, and put a lot of pressure on you saying this special will end then. But after February 23rd you get a message, we have a special 25% of your annual rent but you must act before March 23rd - exactly the same deal just stated differently. It is dishonest and underhanded, and although I rented it I am not happy with the deal, I took it before February 23rd but since my mom was not moving in until March 14 I did not get a month of free rent as advertised, I had a month with an empty apartment when I could have got the same deal starting on March 14. It really irritates me.

They changed everything after Dad moved in, didn't appreciate them no longer having a supper menu. Nope I would not recommend. Dad was not happy with the changes

Location is great! Mostly good. Only complaints is that the food is just OK and you have to get to meals early or they run out and the staff leaves.

The facility has Roaches and Fleas Needs monthly pest control. The building need to be leveled on the inside way to many inclines for residents with manual wheelchairs.

I like the fact that three meal are served daily. Some what friendly staff. My mom is having problems issues receiving mail, and the residents are not that friendly, but overall she’s is comfortable at Emerson.

We were happy with everything here at first. But lately the food has gone down hill. It's either cold, tough or just plain flavorless. Don't know if they changed cooks or if the one they had has just gotten lazy. Our senior's are people and they can tell the difference.

We have had many issues. They have also cut back on breakfast, it is now just continental breakfast.

We toured this community for the care for my mom. The staff was nice and able to answer the questions we had on the care. The community could use some improvements in the cleaning of the rooms. The menu was average on the choices. We would suggest that they do some improvements. We would recommend that other families tour before making a decision.

We toured Corinthians Retirement. The community seemed run down and the residents did not seem very happy. We did not have a good impression of the community. We chose another community for our loved one.

The Treemont was a formal larger community. The hallways were long and dark, felt like it would be easy for residents to get lost. The rooms were nice but the rooms did not have immediate access to an outside area.

Independent Living Only. 1960 for studio. Would have to have everything through Home Health company. Great area for dogs can let off leash...dont have to walk or pick up poop. One hallway smelled of pet urine (faintly). Magnifier readers for reading books. Showers have to step over they are willing to put in rails or whatever else is needed. Would be a great place except it is only independent living home health.
