The reason I gave the cleanliness a 1 is because of the roaches in the apartment. However, I love [name removed] and what I like the most about Emerson on Harvest Hill is the friendliness of the staff....

The Treemont was a formal larger community. The hallways were long and dark, felt like it would be easy for residents to get lost. The rooms were nice but the rooms did not have immediate access to an outside area.

Independent Living Only. 1960 for studio. Would have to have everything through Home Health company. Great area for dogs can let off leash...dont have to walk or pick up poop. One hallway smelled of pet urine (faintly). Magnifier readers for reading books. Showers have to step over they are willing to put in rails or whatever else is needed. Would be a great place except it is only independent living home health.

The staff lied to me when I was trying to get in. They were saying it was going to be 1800 and would not work with the VA with me. Could not get into the facility but would like to.

A bit too 'city' - would like to get more suburban/rural if possible. Definitely will need a kitchenette. Hoping to steer more toward the independent style of living for now.

Clean, well staffed. Director of Admissions, is pleasant, informative and truely likes her job. Too institutional for my taste.

I have been a resident for more than four years. This facility was wonderful when I first moved in, however it has completely deteriorated since the new owners took over. It takes months to replace washers and dryer‘s that are supposed to be available to the community. And the food is in constant decline. When residents ask management for explanations, we are spoken to as though we are children, rather than paying customers. They are also in a constant state of being short-staffed.

I would not recommend the Treemont Retirement Community because of the lack of attention from the staff. During one of my visits, I pressed the button to call for a nurse just to test it out, and the nurse never came. I went to her desk in the lobby and no one was there, just flashing lights from all of the residents who were also requiring attention. When I brought it to the administration's attention, the nurse said she was on break when this was happening. The facility was not clean, the maintenance could use work. When I would walk in, the residents would always be just sitting in their wheelchairs against the wall.

My loved one is no longer here. He did not have the best experience and was not a good match for him. It seemed a bit chaotic for him which made him feel uncomfortable.

Use this facility only if you have no other choice! It is clean, but that's it's only redeeming quality. the units are tiny, the food was inedible, the residents seemed stand-offish. They have a fenced courtyard for people with canine companions, but it didn't look like people were picking up after their animals very well. "Watch yer step!" I did not see a pool or exercise facility or computer access. Maybe it was just a bad day when I went, but I'd be careful sending anyone that I loved here.

I'm not real happy here but I guess it's okay. It's just not for me. I just think the place is old and it reeks. It needs to be remodled. They're really casual on things like security and taking care of people. They're understaffed and underqualified. It's not what I expected.

Did not like the location. Notcrazy about the rooms. Other residents seemed confused in getting around. could be problem for our Mom. Plus is the physical therapist, SNF and Rehab next door. Prefer not to have assigned seating at dinner if we go with IL. More than likely will not make the cut for the next visit but will discuss with family.

This well established independent living community has one glaring flaw. Residents do not have access to a variety of health care companies. They have an in-house home health/private care agency that rents an office and is the preferred/ protected agency and friend of management. So if you're not happy with their services or if they don't have the skill set you need, you're out of luck. Upper management doesn't believe you should have the freedom of choice even though you're living independently.

My loved one was previously a resident at Emerson at Rosemeade Park and the entire experience was terrible. The facility was terrible and the staff was rude. I would not recommend this facility to others.

They have been cutting back tremendously. It is not uncommon to wait 30 minute to get served in the dining room. There are now minimal housekeepers;4 to clean over 200 rooms. Quality people have left or been terminated so [name removed] can minimize cost. [name removed] never does her job and is nasty to residents. Good people like [name removed] are shunned aside. [name removed] , terrific salesperson and helpful, was terminated to allow a click member to stay. The head of marketing has left. Minimum and insufficient staff exist, and the service is horrible. Food has been cut back, only toast and oatmeal for breakfast to cut costs. There is not enough maintenance people and they just terminated one maintenance to save on cost. It is astounding that anyone would give the place more than a 2-star rating.,
