They seem to have handled Covid very well. They had somebody come on-site to get them all vaccinated. I get an email newsletter, so I think the communications are good. A lot has been shut down due to Covid, but my loved ones are starting to get more involved as things open back up. They've started offering Mahjong and arts and crafts and things. Meals were being delivered, and my loved ones got a lot of desserts, which they liked. With the dining room opening back up, the concierge is planning on seating the residents with different people at meals so they can meet more people.

I moved to Beverwyck about 6 weeks into the pandemic shut down, a very difficult time to be moving from one state to another. Despite the quarantine restrictions, the management here has made an outstanding effort to provide appropriate activities and amenities to lift our spirits, such as passing out ice cream on hot summer days. The staff is always friendly, pleasant and supportive. The accommodations are outstanding.

Covid-19 through us a curveball. Our expectations were dashed but creative staff, residents’ ability to adjust, we find ourselves in the best place to make the best life in this time of “it is what it is”.

Very well taken care of. Rarely need anything.

My father is doing so good at The Terrace. He is like a new man. It has been a rough year for all but The Terrace has kept all safe.

My mom enjoys living at The Terrace. Staff have kept me informed on how she is doing and she receives excellent care.

Have a sone here in Queensbury. Was alone in Phoenix, AZ. Felt I should be bear family. I'm from the area. I worked in NY for 40 years. The Glen has worked out well. They have great staff and try very hard to keep us comfortable and entertained. Very clean and fine dining.

I feel very comfortable here, the staff is wonderful, and we do a lot of activities. I enjoy the library.

I feel safe here

I moved here a year after my husband passed away. I have no family living in this area. I wanted to be independent but not worry my family. This was the perfect choice for me. I have wonderful friends. I take advantage of concerts and entertainment offered. I'm happy here--doing things I enjoy doing, exercise, needlework, singing in the Glee Club etc.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place overall! It was a smaller community compared to some we had seen, and it seemed to be more focused towards independent living. It wouldn't have been a good fit for the needs of our loved ones, but it is definitely worth a look if you are looking for a more independent senior!

Incredibly kind and helpful. Personnel from maintenance to young dining room staff. Food could be better quality. People who live here are kind and friendly. All in all a good place. Well maintained.

Their sister facility, Marjorie Doyle, is run very different than this center. My husband said that a lot of people were unhappy here. He complained about the food as well and the quality of care was not good. I would not recommend this facility to others looking.

The facility is lovely, the receptionist is wonderful, and the care takers are very good. Our only concern was from the administrative side. When were going through a medical situation with my mom, I left three messages needing to get or give some information and none of them were returned.

They are very good, but the layout was not fantastic. The care in the memory care unit looks pretty good, and the rooms are very nice, but they don't keep them there. They prefer the residents not to be in the room. We also weren't thrilled with the community shower idea. If my loved one wanted to sit in their room and watch t.v., they wouldn't really want to let them do that.

They should be categorized as an Assisted Living Facility and not a Memory Care unless your loved one is VERY early stages of dementia/Alzheimer's and can pretty much still live independently. My mother was able to push a piece of furniture out of her room, down a long hallway and out the door to the secured patio without any staff seeing this. My mother had a UTI and was having behaviors and a nurse there told me that her UTI had nothing to do with the behavior she was having. They wanted her removed from their facility 2 weeks after she moved in (during her UTI). Very uncaring to family situations and the safety of the people in their care. They tried sending her to a nursing home that looked like a homeless shelter with roaches and bed bugs. Would not recommend unless family member is in very early stages. Not enough staffing to provide enough care to people with dementia/Alzheimer's Administration rude and lack compassion.

Administrative staff lack of professionalism, doesn't have time to address issues, lack of bedside manner. Quality of care- does not keep to toileting schedule, bathing is lacking resident still dirty after shower. Sits in rooms and plays on phone instead of caring for loved ones. Activities are not centered toward people with Alzheimer's, activities Director does not take questions about activities kindly. She treats her staff poorly in front of families. Not worth the price. It use to be a top not place not it's the bottom of the barrel at top notch price, actually very sad.
