Our tour with South High was great, we liked the location and the staff who showed us around were friendly and professional. This was one of our top 3 choices, but the price was a little high.

From our understanding they are bringing back the activities but they are only limiting them to inside the community. We do think the value for cost here is great especially for memory care. We would recommend South High Senior Living to others.

We chose South High because it was a brand new facility so we were able to tour it and the interactions we had with the staff through the whole process was great. His room is very good size for his needs. The meals are chef prepared and everything we have experience,d has been good so far. The staff members are truly sincere and caring about what they do rather it just being a job. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Your loved one will be safe, well taken care of, and happy. The communication between the staff and the family is good, they call quickly with the answers to my questions. I would recommend this community to others

South High is the absolute best Assisted Living and Memory care in Knoxville! The building is stunning but more importantly the staff take amazing care of my mom! They are always available and like our extended family. I trust them whole heartedly!

Wonderful!! The only drawback to this building is that it requires a lot of walking. [Name removed] gave a great tour showing different options. 15’ ceilings, huge windows with tons of natural light. But it would cost a fortune to adequately dress the windows. Beautiful place though with loads of character. Loved it!

Excellent accomodation: staff, personel, and residents

I have lived here for a month. My husband and I have been so pleased with our staff, our apartment, our neighbors and our food. We are so happy to have found this "5 star resort."

Today we had the most wonderful tour of this amazing facility! Our 'tour guide' [name removed] was the best! She was both very professional....and soooo much fun! She spent more time with us than she probably had planned because we both are talkers...and she couldn't get away ;-) This place blew us away...and it isn't even finished. You can't imagine what the company did to redo this place! The rooms are just beautiful and the entire facility is really amazing. The halls, guess because they were school halls are extremely spacious. We still have one more Independent Living facility to tour, but this one is just so amazing. We are just looking at this time, but when we decide this is the step to take, this may just be the place. And the best thing, it is the only one we found that also has Assisted Living/Memory Care facilities that they are affiliated with. One is just about 5 minutes away. That is very important. Also, Knoxville High Independent living is less than an hour from our daughter and her family in Morristown. OK, just wanted to send our 'attaboys' to [name removed] and also to [name removed] and [name removed]. They were all just so kind and impressive. [name removed] & [name removed], Morristown, TN

So far it's been pretty awesome and a good fit for our family. Know that your loved one will get as much out of it as they're willing to participate in. The community has plenty of activities, things like Bingo and trips and things. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartments are very nice, although they could be a little more user friendly for the elderly population (the washer/dryer and appliances are newer and can be complicated to operate).

Most days we would rate 4.5. My mom passed in [Date Removed]. Alexander IV was a very nice place while she was there. The food was good most days according to her. The activity director was very hands on and seemed to enjoy her position. The nursing director was difficult to deal with at times , no fault of hers just red tape with doctors and prescriptions. Overall it was a good experience.

I have only dealt with the memory care unit. But the staff is wonderful, short staffed at times (but that is anywhere you go). It is a little pricey, but I'm happy with the care my mom has been given.

The facility is clean and spacious. The staff overall are accommodating and helpful. There can be quite a bit of turnover which is expected for this industry.

Friends have asked me about the community and some have come for visits with my mom. They have been impressed. I would tell others that I recommend Alexander IV. My mind and lifestyle have eased a lot since moving my mother closer to me into Alexander IV.

Yes I would recommend it but it is full pay so that needs to be considered. They do not take any insurance. The rooms are spacious and have plenty of room. The facility common areas are beautifully decorated.

Knoxville High Independent Living seemed like a good facility. Everyone was friendly and seem to get along. There was more interaction between the residents and the staff. It also was organized.

I think the staff are really engaging with the residents who live here. My mom does not do a lot of things that they have offered, but it has nothing to do with the facility. I would definitely recommend South High to others looking.

We were very impressed with South High Senior Living. Unfortunately it was just not the right fit for us, my loved one had a lot of special needs.
