My friend has been there for 3 years and is being treated very well. She is in the Memory Care unit and the staff there treats her like a friend.

When we started looking for an assisted living location for my mother, by chance we toured South High Senior Living first. After our visit, we couldn’t find another location that compared to this wonderful place. From the first step inside, we were impressed. I’m was relieved to see a locking controlled foyer, with immediate access to the concierge. The interior decor is beautiful, reminding me of a five star hotel. The high ceilings give all living area such wonderful lighting and a feeling of increased space. The dining area and piano bar are spacious and charming, but surprisingly cozy. My mother loves the beauty parlor/spa and plans to use weekly. Her room/apartment is spacious and ready to personalize with her furniture and treasures. The bathroom is perfect, whether using a walker or wheelchair. In addition to the physical amenities, the staff has been helpful, friendly and competent. I could not image a better place for my mother. P.S. she loves all of the activities too !

Location was a big factor, but compared to another nearby community, it felt welcoming and was so clean. The decor is great, staff is friendly and caring.I would recommend to others.

Everyone is good to me, I love the food and there is always something to do, they don't pressure me to do activities. I attend what I want, but she does offer and ask me.

I really enjoy living here and the staff is very friendly, easy to make friendship's, good to us.

Staffing is slightly understaffed, but the personnel that are here do a phenomenal job. Communication with the family is very thorough. The food quality is excellent. The price is high, but below average for this type of facility. But they are all overpriced. I highly recommend this facility at its current price point.

The staff members at this community are very friendly and very respectful. The meals are so far so good. The activities right now are a little limited - it could be because of the weather but also our loved one is on the memory care side so we do understand it makes doing activities harder. The expense is on the upper side of the scale but for us it is worth it. Based on our experience we would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was great but the memory care unit had only been open for a short time and we wanted a place where the staff members had a lot of experience working with memory care residents.

I can't say enough good things about them. The staff are extremely knowledgeable supportive, and kind, and they have made a very hard situation as doable and as pleasant as possible. The care is excellent. The facility is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. It's extremely clean, well maintained, and well decorated. And it does not feel like an institution - it feels more like a home.

They were wonderful. My loved one enjoyed the food. The value for the money was perfect. They went over and beyond, with what they had to do. I would recommend to other families.

We like it - it has been a good place for our family member to be. The staff are very caring. It's a beautiful and historical facility. The food tends to be ethnically based, so there are all different types of food. Which we think is great, although the elderly might tend to like more traditional Southern food. But they offer options at every meal to make sure the residents have something they like to eat.

The staff is incredibly trained to best assist residents with memory needs. Residents all are happy and loving and always welcoming to new faces in the community. Always wanting to join in the fun that the community provides. Absolutely love this Memory Care!!!!!

This is a wonderful community that offers assisted living and memory care services. It has top-notch care and dining! The activities really feed the residents souls. Highly recommend!

The staff are willing to work with the family in making sure that our loved one knows the options for the meals available. Overall the food is good for our loved one. There is an activities director on staff to assist the residents with activities. They have done karaoke, fishing, and more for the residents to choose from for activities. The community has been able to work with us with the care needs for my loved one even as the care has increased in nature. The staff are caring, concerned, and kind.

I cant believe my grandma lives here. Its so amazing.

Our tour at Knoxville High Independent Living was fine. They made everything look good. It just was not the environment that I was looking for for my mother.

The place is very clean, and very very beautiful. Everybody here is very nice. Once person after another takes care of each other. The people are very caring and make newcomers feel welcome. It's a great place to live. They have security guards, which makes me feel very safe. We have washers and dryers in our apartments. And they're a very pet friendly community. Every time you come in they give your dog a treat. They love dogs here. One area for improvement is the food needs upgrading. I've had a few really good meals. But in general, they've cut the kitchen budget. So they're not using name brand or quality ingredients. For instance, when you have cold meat, they get the cheapest on the market. It's very salty, and just not any good. They don't use the top stuff in general, and that's the problem. I think the cost is expensive, but overall it's a good value.

Our tour with South High was great, we liked the location and the staff who showed us around were friendly and professional. This was one of our top 3 choices, but the price was a little high.

From our understanding they are bringing back the activities but they are only limiting them to inside the community. We do think the value for cost here is great especially for memory care. We would recommend South High Senior Living to others.
