Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facility

Dorothy Cares was a wonderful place for my mother. [Name removed] was great and her staff was also special. I presently volunteer my time to sing gospel music at both her facilities once a month. Great people!!

This is the best home my mom has been in. Everyone is very attentive and take very good care of mom. I am very happy with the way mom has gotten better since she has been here. This is a 5 star facility. Thank you very much.

I recently toured these communities and currently on a wait list. I loved both locations, cheaper than larger facilities or health care at home. Owner is so dedicated, involved and I love that she's a name and knowledgeable. Can't wait to get my family member at either location

This has been the best decision for our mother, the attention and love she gets from [name removed] and her staff is just amazing. She goes way and beyond and we're appreciative she's accommodated late hour visits while our family where visiting from out of town. I've visited both homes and you get that comfy feeling the moment you get there. I cannot say enough good about Dorothy Cares ALFs, you will not regret your decision in placing your parent [removed]

I would give a 10 star rating if possible. The owner and staff could not be any more kind and caring. My mom is happy, kept healthy and safe. Previous two places, they over medicated and really did not have any concern for my mother's health. At Dorothy's, they watch mom so carefully, that she does not have health problems like she used to at two other assisted living facilities. She loves her daily, or twice daily, walks. This home is immaculate too. Absolutely no odors. The nurse owner cares for each of her guests as extended family and she trains her staff to do the same. Living across the country, I am so grateful to have these angels to care for my mom. My mom's face lights up when the owner comes into the room. Where else can you say the same?

I had to find a place rather quickly as I had been diagnosed with bc. I was led to [name removed]'s new location and I am so glad I was! The staff is very caring, warm and kind to all. Clean, good food, homelike atmosphere. And [name removed] is so caring also.

Toured both of Dorothy's facilities and I must say I was extremely impressed!!!! Felt very comfortable, clean environment, saw the involvement & care with the residents, the smell of fresh home cooked meals and best part was the reasonable pricing for the care. I am currently on a wait list keeping fingers crossed to bring dad here.

This provider is the ideal situation in terms of atmosphere, location, and price.

I am daughter of one of the residents at one of Dorothy's ALFs. I must say mom loves it here, she loves her home cooked meals and attention she receives from all! I couldn't be happier and the cost is way cheaper then large facilities she's been at. Place looks immaculate and smells good everytime I come visit mom. I am a pleased family member and recommend Dorothy Cares ALFs to all!!!!!!

Dorothy Cares ALF II took care of my Dad during the final weeks of his life. This facility was recommended to me by hospice as a potential place for my Dad to stay at. I have to say from the moment I walked into the door I knew it was the right place for him. He was well looked after and he really loved being there. The care staff lead by Dorothy took extremely good care of my dad meeting all his needs and wants. I would recommend this place for anyone needing a care facility for their love ones. The place is always clean and the patients food is prepared fresh throughout the day. Also while dad was there I would updates on him so that took a lot of stress off of my brother and I.

I had my mother in two well known corporate senior assisted living facilities. While the experiences were not bad, they were not great, either. I am really pleased that Mom is now in Dorothy's care. The level of caring and compassion is far beyond what was previously experienced. [Removed] and her workers absolutely go out of their way to both care for Mom and make her comfortable. Mom now has constant interaction with people, rather than spending hours alone. Also, the food is far better and more nutritious than the commissary food received in the corporate facilities. Another comment - the facility is absolutely immaculate and clean. I am thrilled with the care Mom receives and I highly recommend this warm, caring home.

This is a friendly, neat and clean facility in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Above all, their care and compassion is worth mentioning. My husband was in good hands here. Some of their workers treated him as their own. I would recommend this facility to all.

Dorothy is an excellent nurse and takes great care of my parent. I can't believe I didn't know of her place sooner instead of paying so much more in a huge facility where my parent wasn't even cared for the way Dorothy and her staff do. I'm am lucky and blessed to know this place exist!

We didn't realize that some adult family care homes are only for individuals with dementia. This is a wonderful option for some families. We knew that it wouldn't be the best arrangement for [Removed]; and decided not to select this option.

I liked the facility but it was small with 4 bedrooms. The price too high for a normal bedroom
