I would like to recommend and say great job! The workers are very nice and appear helpful to all. Administrator very kind and knowledgeable. Daycare residents enjoy their time there and enjoy activities.

Super clean every day, always accommodating for your Loved Ones making them the Priority 24/7, what more appreciation can I provide for my 1rst and Only choice for Mum's happiness and well-being. Thank you Dorothy for making one of the most important decisions of one's life that much easier :)

Our mom was getting confused and forgetful. We wanted to be sure that she was treated with dignity and in a cheerful manner. After disappointments with two other facilities, we struck gold with Dorothy Cares. The help is kind and thoughtful with great attention to detail. Having it run by a nurse was important too as my mom's meds were corrected with excellent results. It's difficult being 2,500 miles away. The staff would open emails for my mom and send me photos of her opening my cards and presents. When my local brother stopped in, it was always sparkling clean and fresh. The staff did special things for each guest, like my English mum's cup of tea. The owner hugged my mom and treated her like family. Cannot say enough nice things about Dorothy Cares. From experiences my friends have had, I know how rare it is to find such an inviting, safe, comfortable, and fun facility, much less one that is reasonably priced. Hope they are still around when I need senior care for myself.

Outstanding focus on detail of patient care and the associated issues of each individual. Always a warm and family-friendly environment. Help and helpful to and for all of the residents. Glad I found Dorothy Cares. My mom is well cared for and enjoying her time there. Thank you Dorothy Cares.

I can't say enough about the exceptional care my mom received with Dorothy and staff. As a dementia patient, my mom had been withdrawn and isolated. I needed help as a full time caregiver for years. Mom was provided diligent loving care and treated with dignity, kindness and respect. She truly received the best care possible as an adult daycare patient. She received daily meals/snacks that fit her dietary needs, supervision/assistance, medication management, physical exercise including guided walks outside with her peers. She thoroughly enjoyed socializing and participating in crafts, bingo, puzzles and other fun activities with fellow attendees. She loved spending time outside on the enclosed patio. I received regular progress reports/photos of my mom's days participating and having fun. I was made aware of any staff concerns immediately and solutions were offered to adjust for my mom's needs/interests. With Dorothy, you'll have the peace of mind and valuable care for your loved one.

Excellent smaller assisted living facility will re-locate mom in 2023, and will be put on waitlist.

My mom has been at Dorothy Cares for sometime now and I absolutely love it. The residential setting makes her feel right at home. The staff is the best that I have seen in any ALF that my mom has been at or we have researched, and we have researched our share in the Tampa bay area look under the hood and you’ll see it’s an outstanding place.

I toured these facilities with the owner. They are very nice & promising, will recommend these ALFs. I am not interested in the larger communities now that I have toured both settings. Looking at my options.

I recently visited Dorothy's ALF to see one of their residents for therapy. I took a bunch of brochures for clients that would love to join their adult day care services apart from the assisted living services they run. Folks were having a blast and even saw them dancing. I was very impressed!

Coming from someone in the medical field , these Alf’s are top notch and staff’s home-cooked meals are delicious.

You treated mom so kindly and made her feel like she was a part of the family, we know she was in great care in your hands. We miss her, but know she is in a better place now. Good Evening, My mom was admitted into the Tropical House and later was moved to the Crestview House. I must say that, my mom received, outstanding care and love, she was treated like family, from day one. The owner and her staff are Top-notched. May God continue to Blessed them, for being so Loving and Caring.

I will start my dad start their adult day care 5 days a week to keep him active. So far I like what I saw, activities, exercises and food smelled great!

After taking care of my mom for 12 yrs. I was very hesitant about placing her in an ALF. [Owner] and her staff have given great care and treat her like family. I feel so blessed the day that Mom went to Dorothy Cares. I live out of state and was looking for a loving family like home for my mother who had alzhemers. I saw much bigger places but knew that they would be too big and confusing for my mother. [name removed] and [name removed] create such a loving caring family home for Mom. Dorothy Cares is a small home for 5-6 people. Mom knew where everything was. No walking through long hallways and up and down elevators. Life was made easy and less stressful living in a home like environment. I strongly recommend Dorothy Cares because she truly does care!

I'm on a wait list for a private room, to get my grandma into one of their locations, and I've toured both ALF's. They are terrific and have a great reputation and my friends mom lives here and can't stop bragging about them.
