My loved one says that it is really nice community. They are pretty good and my loved one is comfortable enough to reach out if help is needed. This community is also in a great location. One thing that I wish that they would do is leave instructions for how to set thermostat and little things like this that will help the residents. This is a very nice place and it is very clean and comfortable.

My tour of this facility was wonderful! It was beautiful and the staff answered my questions. It definitely stood out to me as one of the best places that I had toured. i would have no problem choosing this facility!

I am enjoying my stay at River North! It is a beautiful facility with very friendly staff! The apartment complex is also very convenient, as far as suiting my individual needs. I have no complaints so far about my stay!

They are doing a good job so far. I'm pretty happy with them. There have been a few minor things here and there. It's clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. I would give them a four sometimes.

This one seems easier to get to off east-west connector. No step or ramps, includes utilites and comes with washer and dryer free of charge. Unit looks clean and open. Concern would be how Mom would get from appartment to communitie area without using a scooter or wheelchair on her own.

We chose Legends of Apple Valley because they had availability when we needed it. We are very comfortable in our apartment, for senior living they are adequate for our needs. When we first moved in here they had a ton of activities, but since COVID hit, they have pretty much been closed, but that is no fault of their own. The facility is in a good area close to shopping and restaurants, but it can get a little loud at times. Overall, we have had a good experience here.

The Grainwood is a 55+, many people moving out. My close 4 friends because of cost. It is not a good place for ill people unless they have help coming in. You can have a dog though.

Management is not here much, or maintenance. The rent went up $[removed]for 1 bedroom apartments. The apartments are nice, but made with cheap things. The owner does not want to maintain quality. I went for 6 1/2 months my first year with no a/c or furnace. 5 year old furnace was red tagged for Carbon monoxide. I enjoy living here in my apartment, but because of the management the experience overall has not been very good. I would recommend that these apartments are better for self sufficient individuals. No one here is looking out for the elderly/sick.

The apartment was lovely, but in the beginning was the covid pandemic so with all the restrictions is very lonely. They did work really hard to keep the community clean and the activities are slowly starting to open back up

My experience is via my sister who has been a resident for 3 years. The staff is ok, but not as friendly as I would have expected from a place that has seniors. The cell service is really bad because they are behind a hill. So, you really need to keep a land line. Paying rent is online only, which is really hard for a senior with out a computer. You are forced to go to the Walmart and pay via direct cash transfer. The greatest asset has been the activities and the onsite beauty shop. I can recommend these apartments, but know the staff is not as friendly as they could be and their is really no care services. It is truly for someone who can live on their own, with out assistance.

Huge rent increases, noisy ice arena, dogs everywhere, rude neighbors, drafty windows

I have mixed feelings about living at The Cambric. it is a nice new property but the soundproofing is poor. If you live facing the Mississippi Market's parking lot you will be awakened anywhere from 4:53 in the morning until 6:00 PM with noisy delivery trucks delivering and unloading at the Mississippi Market. It is very unpleasant. The 7th street side is also noisy. Young adults hang out in the apartment parking lot smoking marijuana in the evenings. It is called a 55+ building but they allow young adults 18 and over to live there as long as an adult 55+ has rented the apartment they live in. Not Good!

The place is beautiful on the outside The person to speak to does not work there. The asst manager was not happy to let me in and state did a Place for Mom send you We tell them not to come She state there were no openings I could not see anything Men outside ask if I had gotten a place and when I told them there were no openings they were surprised A total waste of time

Only one Assistant Manager has stayed 18 months while other Lead Managers have left; Asst Mngr lives onsite but repeatedly neglects to community in emergencies & traumatic events, including but not limited to power outages, vehicles blowing up in a surface lot, a police chase resulting in building damage & even a suicide. Same staff fails to allow Grief Counselors to support community or support possible pet friendly events & isolates non Christian community members. Despite it being a 55+ community NUMEROUS GUESTS UNDER AGE 55 are frequently found wandering & utilizing Game Room, Fitness Room, Business Center & Theatre Room w/o being accompanied by residents. Fees & use criteria for parking garage, storage areas, & room reservations are unspecified & often insinuated as being set punitively. Residents in poor health are fearful of leaving for EVEN SHORTTERM care & are OFTEN told to disable personal security alarms. Govt subsidies SHOULD be suspended due to management coercion.

The place is ran by slumlords. Once you sign the lease the staff is rude, especially the manager [name removed]. The place is brand new, yet there are stains on the carpet in the hallways from dogs peeing on the carpet. Two months of waiting and they still haven’t cleaned the carpets. The elevators are filthy. No one vacuumed the common areas. There’s broken glass in the doorways. No one bothers to clean it up.

I'm SO HAPPY!!!!! I'm officially MOVING OUT and handing LOB back my KEYS TOMORROW!!! This is the WORST place I've ever lived in! One of the managers onsite here/ is HORRIBLE and the regional MANAGER that SHE reports to and!!!!!!! She shows favoritism toward a selected group of racist tenants. And when I moved here, I discovered that Dominium lets a 3rd party billing company JIT BLUE STAR -bill tenants for EXCEL energy electricity usage and OVERCHARGED TENANTS. I wrote the Attorney General's office and guess what? They had to reimburse tenants for overcharging expanding back 9 YEARS at several different properties (Dominium)!!!!!! YEP 9 YEARS... In short, consider moving ELSEWHERE----NOT HERE!!!!!!!!!! GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!

Most of the problems here stem from the company who owns us (Dominium). The value is an issue considering the fact they are supposed to cap the rent at 3% and now a lot of the residents have it up anywhere near 10-11%. A lot of residents are moving out very fast, it is just a mess. It sees like they are double dipping. They just do a lot of questionable things. Also the location is not a good area - there are newer buildings near us and we have seen drug deals go down in the parking lots as well as seeing guns.
