I am so happy at The Grainwood. On the outside, the community is very pretty to look at. It blends well with the surroundings outside. On the inside, it's like a lodge; rustic, bright, and very pretty. The rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms here are huge. They're very pretty with marble counters, a porch, and lots of cabinetry. I love that they have underground parking as well, That is ideal for our Minnesota weather. I would definitely recommend The Grainwood to others.

This community is nice they have really big rooms, It is subsidized living that is very spacious. They have marble countertops. It is very independant living here. They have food places close or he will just eat in his apartment. The staff is nice they are cleaning every time I see them and there are no smells. The atmosphere is wonderful. They have wide hallways with railings. They have elevators at the end of the halls we are very impressed. I would recommend this community.

My spouse and I live here. Generally it’s a nice place and the management is fine. It’s a good building and it seems to be well maintained. So far from our experience everything has been good. The only activities that they have I think are organized by the other residents.

The Grainwood was a blessing in disguise when I needed a home for my mom immediately. The process of getting her qualified to move in was the only thing I felt took a bit too long, but that’s the only negative I could say. The community doesn’t have a meal plan but my mom is able to buy her own groceries and stay independent. The facility is all brand new and just beautiful. It’s spotless, it’s just the right environment, the price is amazing, it’s really close to my own home, and it’s located in a great place near different stores – what more could you ask for? Every Monday the staff will take the residents to different places like the zoo and restaurants, whatever they decide on as a group, and my mom is taking so well to the welcome environment that she’s really having an easy time finding people with shared interests. This is her first senior living experience – that can be scary. But to be moving into a brand new place that’s centrally located, she’s really enjoying it and I’m thankful for that.

I am happy to say that I has been enjoyable for me while being in this community. There are nice people living here with lots of activities to participate in. The staff give friendly and helpful interaction. I have been eating fine meals during my breaks of unpacking. It's pleasing to say it is located in a nice neighborhood/

The assistant manager at Parkland Manor was just as sweet as she could be. She was very helpful. My mother was very very pleased. We are getting a fantastic value here. The only issue we have had is mom was told that she could make the apartment her own so she switched the light fixtures out for more modern ones. Later we found out that is was not something that was okay to do and the manager treated mom as if she wasn't in her right mind on this matter. So this was a little upsetting. The activities here are excellent, they play phase on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is a potluck and breakfasts. They are pet friendly at this facility too! Overall I am happy with things here just a few bumps in the road.

Wonderful facility. This is the one I am choosing to live at. Director was a wonderful person and showed genuine care and concern for me.

Didn't get to see the apartment, but really liked the building overall.

I have lived at Parkland and it is a wonderful place to live. It is the state of the art facility.

My mother-in-law has just moved in but loves her new home! She enjoyed the daily activities and meeting the other residents. I like her place because I know she is safe and happy here.

They made it quick and easy to find the perfect place for mom. Thanks soooo much!

I gave rave reviews for this place when I moved in. However I’m experiencing a very stressful situation. The power is out in our apartments since last night. Cambridge is using CONSERVICE as the utility provider. There is no way to reach this company for an emergency such as this. However they have a 24 hour automated line to make payments. They are also two hours behind us. I’m the most understanding person but this is unacceptable., especially for seniors. For example. I can’t use my nebulizer for my asthma condition due to this problem. Not to mention our food at risk for going bad and no heat. Also CONSERVICE has numerous negative reviews regarding their customer service and billing service. Very low rating on bbb . This situation really affects the residents. I really wish Cambric senior housing would reconsider using this utility provider. My bill has increased by fifty dollars a month.

I like the location, and the rent. Would prefer no carpet, but it is only in the bedroom. Have had limited experiences with the staff, most have been good.

1. Facility is being populated more and more by residents under 55 years of age 2. There is frequent turnover of the staff

My apartment is beautiful, and I love my neighbors, but anyone moving here should know that having overnight guests who arrive by car is almost impossible. There is not enough parking in the surface lot. You will be told that there are 10 visitor spots for overnight guests. However, these spots are always full, and usually taken by “ live in” roommates of those who live at Preserve. ( part of the complex) These people are not on the lease. Some who park in visitor spots have been here over a year. There is prohibition against this according to the lease but it is not enforced. There are no parking alternatives. No street parking. If your guest arrives and there is no visitor spot available your guest is out of luck and will be towed if they park in the lot. So if having friends or family come for an overnight visit is important to you, look elsewhere.

It is under new management, so I need to see how it goes, but it's okay. I picked due to location. Doesn't feel or look like a nursing home.

Harbor at Twin Lakes is a secure building which I like the most and it is located within walking distance from several different restaurant's, stores and other amenities. There are no care services here because it is independent living apartments only.

They should offer activities. It's a nice facility. I picked this community, because of the cleanliness ,friendliness, and value for money. Management is in transisition and they don't have new managment in place. The residents seem to be unhappy, because they don't have a property manager at the time.
