We chose Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch because it sounded reasonable for what my brother needed at that point in time. They were very good with communication throughout covid. I would recommend them to others looking.

Communication can sometimes be difficult. The response time can take longer than we liked but they did respond. I would recommend checking out this community.

Our loved one physically looks brighter than what she did before coming into the community, and she looks like she is getting good nutrition. We would recommend this community to others.

We like the smallness and staff ratio here. Just seems a little expensive for what you're getting.

I would recommend The Chelsea at Montville. It served my loved one's needs while they were there. The room was comfortable for my loved one. My loved one was able to choose their food and they enjoyed it.

I think their memory care is great. The food is great. The food is a big deal for the residents to look forward to each day. My loved one states that the staff doesn't speak to them when they come in. They will answer a question if asked. I think the community is short staffed. They have lots of activities with the residents. They do bingo, artwork, movies, and exercise for the memory care residents. They post artwork of the residents on Facebook for family members to see. This community is more organized than the past community my loved one was in prior. I wanted to have my loved to receive counseling due to the loss of their spouse. I feel that mental health should be included with the care the residents are receiving. The community is beautifully decorated.

The layout of this community is very ideal especially with it being a memory care facility. It is very well designed, the building is in a U-shape with an outdoor area in the middle. We believe this staff is handling COVID the best that they can, we have only been able to visit once and they have done a beautiful job keeping this community clean. The staff was very friendly when we visited, everyone was great. All in all we are happy, and they have done a very good job with the activities. They have a wonderful calendar with a list of the daily activities. There is singing, games, religious services and movie nights. The food is excellent. We were able to eat there a couple times and its very nutritionally balanced, very good portions and a great variety. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side, but a whole lot cleaner then the other places we looked at, and the bathrooms are a very good size.

Before COVID the residents would go on outings to Walmart once a week, they had painting classes and bingo. The staff was very friendly and we found this place to be very open, airy and very welcoming. The rooms are about standard size including a bedroom and a small bathroom.

We chose this facility due to affordability. The food was pretty good, there was quite a bit of variety. They also gave snacks morning and afternoon. The outside looked very nice but the inside was older looking.

I am concerned about communication with and from Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch. When calling in, staff is always "at a meeting" and when messages are left, calls are never returned. Staff apparently was accepting whatever my sister (Alzheimer's patient) told them without checking validity. She appears to not be showering and skipping other personal hygiene. If communication was better this could be handled rather than neglected. Activities offered seem appropriate and in time she may become more involved. Facility is attractive, friendly and well-maintained.

All the caregivers are friendly and helpful. The one main issue that I have is not exclusive to this community, my Mom is in the Memory Care Unit but is by far the youngest one as it seems the average age for this type of care appears to be late 70's to early 80's. My mother is in her early 70's and has noticed all the "old people" around her and it seems to make her uneasy at times, I just wish there was a place that she felt more comfortable in with a few more residents more her age. The staff has gone out of their way to try and convince my Mom to engage in inside and outside activities. They have worked with my sister and I to help my Mom adjust to her new living situation and have accommodated any reasonable requests we have had.

Very nice facilities. The staff was very active working with the residents. The Sales Director was very knowledgeable in the many aspects of Medicaid and how it related to costs of Memory Care. Lots of activities for the residents. Secure rooms to prevent items from disappearing. The rooms felt open and clean. Enough personal space in the semi-private rooms. All inclusive pricing was easy to understand.

We moved my Mom to the Chelsea at Bald Eagle 2 months ago. She adjusted to her new home very nicely. My Mom is very social - she enjoys all the activities that they offer. My Mom is not able to drive any longer so with the bus transport to go shopping, and other outings, makes her very happy. This place is nestled in a lovely area, they keep the grounds and apartments clean. The patio, gazebo, and sitting areas provide a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy some outdoor time. Also, the food is very good - she looks forward to eating her dinner in the dining area, seated with other residents. I would highly recommend the Chelsea at Bald Eagle to anyone who is looking to find a loved one a place they can call home.

We experienced a very pleasant tour. [Name removed] was very informative and very helpful. Our family member seems to be borderline AL and Memory Care, therefore it has not been an easy chore picking the suitable facility yet.

After touring this facility I decided that it was a little further than I wanted to go. The Administrator I met with [name removed] was very nice and they are more apt to accept Medicaid if your private money runs out. Over all a decent facility.

The 5795/month is a flat rate that includes everything in that all thins are covered & you are not subject to annual rate raises. My mom loves the food & she’s picky!

My visit went very well. I liked the facility and think my mom would too. I am going to set up having lunch with her hopefully this coming week.

Clean, cozy, room was nice size. All the right amenities. Could not articulate Level of care options though.

PROS: Very nice. Has outdoor space for dining. More then 25% of population is men which is good for our family. Close to family. Family members can stay over night. Staff are very friendly and seemed engaged. CONS: Does not have nurse dispensing controlled substance meds so would need to have pharmacy prepackage as daily med dose so would cost hundreds of dollars more per month.

Independent Living room sizes were adequate. Pruperty appeared to be well maintained although some of the decor seemed dated. Beautiful, woodsy setting. Local access to basic services and retail via shuttle. Sales Rep was prepared and pleasant - asked a lot of questions about my needs and expectations. [name removed] just implemented ala carte availability of Assisted Living services to Independent Living on a pay as you go basis, managed via a tablet based network.Overall assessment, I could live here.
