Facility and staff is really nice. My only feedback negative is communication is last minute and hard to get a hold of anyone. It's hard to wait to get in the facility and leave because theres never many staff there at a time to let you in and out. Other than that it's been a great experience and great care

I have been a resident of Five Star Premiere Residences for 1 year. It is hard to know where to start when describing a very positive experience. So, I’ll begin with the building which is, anything but “institutional.” There are no long, dark halls. Five Star is a 10-story building constructed around a bright and light atrium. Natural light is everywhere. The atrium serves as a large meeting place, as well as, a space with comfortable furniture that invites conversation and seating for entertainment or a visit with a few close friends. Almost every apartment opens to a view of this atrium. Individual apartments are large and sunny with large windows and well-equipped kitchens. There are very large closets and plenty of cabinets for linens and other household items Comments would not be complete without mention of the staff. They are the heart and soul of Five Star. Starting with the Executive Director, who sets the tone of caring and respected leadership. She is thoroughly engaged

i worked with Admissions Director to get a loved one into Overland Court as I knew it would be a good fit. OC has been recently renovated looking fresh inside and out. the staff are long term and very concientious. having interviewed many Alfs i found OC was the best values for care. the apartments are airy, with nice big windows. the food is good with all day dining from noon to 5:00pm. the nursing staff exceptional and they accept diabetic residents. OC is currently upgrading and streamlining most of their internal systems. I would recommend Overland Court as a great facility to place a loved one.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful staff member and given a tour. Lots of remodeling of the establishment. Paint, carpet, etc. menu looked great. My mother is settled in and enjoying her time with the staff and the other residents at this establishment would highly recommend to anyone. Very comfortable very relaxed atmosphere. And staff is always willing to help and answer. Any questions you may have about your loved one..

The staff at Morningside has been very responsive to my uncle's and my family's needs.

I am so thankful we found Campbell Place. We toured quite a few facilities and the family kept coming back to Campbell Place as our favorite. A few things that have stood out to us: 1) The facility is amazing. It is basically a big circle, so your loved one can’t get lost. It is clean and very well maintained. They keep all laundry separate, so no writing names on clothes. 2) The staff is even more amazing! They all work together and will often see all of them working together in the dining room during meal times. The staff is also so friendly to all of the residents. They are caring and compassionate. They are also just fun to be around. 3) Activities. They have 4-5 activities M-F to keep the residents engaged and happy. They also do fun events and invite the families in about once a month to do something fun. When the weather is nice, they go on short trips as well. Our mom has improved greatly since moving to Campbell Place. She will often tell us how much she likes being there.

Great place for my mom. The staff held my hand through this very difficult process of finding the best place for my mom. It is beautiful, well kept, and full of wonderful staff. I am truly pleased and at ease knowing she is happy and well cared for in her new community.

[name removed] was amazing. I was able to tour the facility and meet with [name removed]. In the transition to get my mom moved in. Everything was so smooth. We were able to get all of the necessary paperwork done in one afternoon and the moving was seamless and organized. Highly recommend.

[name removed] the director was very helpful and made the move as easy as possible. My 96 year old grandmother is happy and says the food is good! The floors are new and love that is all on 1 level. Smaller facility so more access to care.

All is good staff is great just need more options of food like beans and rice Egg with chorizo not just egg A tortilla or toast with. Maybe some soda not just fresca aqua. Need hall floor cleaning. Have resendances have more respect on talking about others. Providers are great too. I would recommend this place to others. Love the way we have most everything here for us.

We lived at Aston Gardens at SCC for four years before moving to be near our daughter in another state. Our new independent living place costs the same but is inferior in all respects. Aston Gardens has all of the amenities that you could want and they are not just words in a description. You will get healthy food, transportation, and a company philosophy that considers your needs and satisfaction

We really appreciated the care Dad received during his time at TerraBella. The environment is welcoming and well kept with a nice little outdoor area and a good amount of indoor space for wandering around. My sister and I lived several hours away, so we were only able to visit a couple of times per month. We were always really pleased with how well they knew Dad and cared for him, though he was often a very prickly resident and not always easy to manage. Food and activities didn’t always meet his needs, so that would be my only complaint specific to him. He only had the use of one of his arms, and meals were often difficult for him to navigate with one hand. Adaptive silverware and plates would have really helped him (which we learned after moving him to a nursing home.) Activities are tricky when someone isn’t interested or even refuses to participate, but we wished that there could have been more creative ways to help him continue to feel useful and engaged. As with many who have dementia, Dad’s needs shifted during his time at TB, and we appreciated the open communication we were able to have with the care staff as well as the admins. We knew he was safe there and well cared for, which gave us great piece of mind. After he moved into a nursing home, two members of the care staff kept in touch with us to check on him and even came to his funeral. That connection meant so much, especially because of how difficult he could be at times.

Solstice Senior Living at Columbia is truly a wonderful place! The bottom line is Mom and Dad are well cared for and happy. Another reviewer complained that it's not suitable for Alzheimer's and dementia. Of course it isn't! It's not intended to be a memory care facility. The description on this very site is clear--it's independent living. I'm baffled why someone would rate Solstice lower for being EXACTLY what they claim to be. The caring team at Solstice helps my parents take med consistently. Equally important to me, they truly care about Mom and Dad, which I find very comforting. The facilities are excellent - clean, well-maintained, and feel like home. The staff treats residents with such respect and genuine affection; it's heartwarming to witness. The food is adequate to good, offers some choices, and seems nutritional, but meals take a very long time, and staff turnover seems high in the kitchen. Another reviewer said if you're late, you don't eat. That's 100% false.

Finding DeWolfe has been a blessing. I give a 4 star grade for Cleanliness, Activities, and Value. Staff, meals, and quality of care get a grade of 5 as well as our overall experience. Dad passed in March. Mom has been doing well. There has been some recent staff turnover but no drop in care quality. We have been very happy with DeWolfe. Exactly the right place for Mom

I would like to give a star review for [name removed] and her Team at Brookdale El camino.. They made a very difficult and trying time such a smooth transition for my parents... They help with everything especially [name removed] she is so caring and just made us all feel good about our decision to move my parent in to assisted living... You are very lucky to have such an amazing employee like [name removed] and your team ant the Brookdale.. We are so excited for our parents to move into their new home... Thank you [name removed] and Team....

Moving my mom to,Paradise Springs was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, treating her like family. The environment is warm, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of activities that my mom loves, like chair exercises and bean bag baseball . Seeing her happy and thriving has given me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the care and sense of community they’ve provided her. Highly recommend!

When we moved to Five Star in Dallas in September it was our first senior independent living experience….we didn’t know what to expect. From the first moment we were welcomed by our fellow residents and staff. We immediately felt a sense of community that melted our anxieties. The corporate culture and “can do” attitude ,driven by management, permeates the staff. It’s just a great place to live , especially in our senior years. Dining (very good!)and activities have made making friends easy. Making this our new home has been the right decision for us!

I looked at many places for my Mom this place was not too big and not too small, it’s just right. They offer many activities and special events that my Mom enjoys. The outings are fun for her to go on. The staff is fantastic especially [name removed] she was instrumental in our decision to choose the Palms. We are so happy that we made this decision so is Mom.
