Our family had an in person tour and the people we met with her so nice. The lady was trying to sell us so hard to come there, she was offering up a one bedroom for the price of a studio. They even have a room at night for a small fee for family members wanting to visit who are out of town. In the end it was the location that deterred us but this was our very first choice.

The community makes my life so enjoyable and comforting. It allows me to focus on me. Some of the activities available are card games, Tai Chi, exercise classes, yoga classes, art classes, local trips to museums and stores weekly, and more for the residents to choose from. There are car services to doctor appointments within 15 miles of the community.

The last few month have been very stressful as we gone through the process of deciding that it's time that our mother move from her home to assisted living. The people at Terrace Place have been very supportive, caring and competent which has been of great help along the way. We believe, once the transition is complete, even our mother will see that that there are benefits to having made the move.
