This community is fantastic. All of the food is freshly made and it fits exactly what my mother needs as a diabetic for a long time. The meals fit everyone's lifestyle and that is really impressive to me. They have activities all the time and all of the residents love to participate. You get every penny that you put into this community, they have the best director in housing and making sure that everything and everyone is well taken care of. I am looking for housing also and if I can go here that is where I want to be.

I see the other residents doing activities and they look like they are having a great time at this community. My loved one likes the atmosphere, the friendliness and the staff. My loved one feels like he is in a luxury apartment now and loves it here. The staff speak and have conversation with my loved one often and are there for any needs but we are still getting settled in and services set up.

I love the relationship between myself and some of the staff members. I also love the activities.

I love always having someone to be around and being able to have meals together.

Everything is wonderful from the people to the food. I am as happy as a lark to be here.

I love it here because it's Home! We are all treated like family & everyone is so kind! It does not stink and is so clean.

Benton House is a very nice place, it was our second choice. They let us come in and do an in person tour even during covid which we appreciated. They just did not seem as focused on the individual and what they needed and it was also more expensive.

I live out of state and the move in process for my brother was efficient and well done. The 2 ladies that I worked with were extremely helpful and cooperative, they have been all around great to work with and made the process easy. My brother has been very pleased with his experience so far from what I have heard.

Everyone is very friendly here. It is not too large of a facility, which is good. The staff are able to take care of each individual person and provide 1:1 attention. They know each individual person and call them by name. I feel like my friend is safe here. They have good safety protocols as well as good Coronavirus protocols. I like the fact that I can sign him out and take him to lunch or Walmart or wherever we would like to go. They're not restrictive about that. Yet, they don't let just anybody come in and take him out. They make sure that person is authorized to do so. The activities are fantastic. There is an activity director named [name removed], and he is fantastic. He makes sure that everybody is aware of all the activities that are available. They do crafts, games, puzzles. Once a week they bake cookies in the mini kitchen off the craft room. They also have a lot of people that come in at least once a week to do a presentation, for instance a singing group or someone who plays piano. They do exercise every morning after breakfast. They have a place out back for those who have green thumb where they can plant their own flowers or cultivate their own little section of garden. They take the residents out as a group on Wednesdays to eat lunch and run errands and just get everybody out and about if they want to. They don't force anybody to do anything, but they do encourage them so they don't just sit in their room all the time. Any time I've called down there, they've taken care of anything I've asked of them. And they are good at calling me if there's a question or issue or decision I need to make. My friend absolutely loves the food. There's a good variety, and the food is of good quality and tastes good. He's happy with the portion sizes, and he looks forward to every meal. I like that there's a place where families can come in and have a private dinner or get-together with their loved one outside of their room. They have an on-site hairstylist, which is so convenient. And the cost for that is very reasonable. I like the fact that they have plenty of medical services there for the residents, and they have their own medical team. They have a physician's assistant that comes in once a week. They take care of all the medications, both ordering and administering them. Every resident has a pendant that they wear, and If they ever need any help, they just push the button. He pushed his by accident once rolling over in bed in the middle of the night, and right away they rushed down the hall to check on him to see if he was okay. So we were very pleased with their response time.

Solstice looked like a really great place. They had good covid protocols when we came in. The staff were all friendly and knew the residents by name. The menu looked good, but they do not offer breakfast which was something we were looking for. It would have been a good choice for us if the location was closer.

We chose Brookdale Hoffman Estates because the staff were amazing and we saw a lot of interaction between them and the residents living there, they knew everyone by name. The meal plans and menu was also the best of the places we looked at. The apartments are a pretty good size, there is plenty of room for what he needs. Overall we have been very pleased and would absolutely recommend them.

The food is good and it would be nice to have more of an assortment of menus in the evening for the residents. The staff have been good to work with. This is a great place to have your loved ones live at.

We have been extremely pleased with Tiffany Court. The facility is all on one level so things are easy to get to. The staff are amazing and there are plenty of them. They take great care of her and are always very helpful anytime we need it. The facility itself is showing its age, I think it could be a little bit cleaner. They have just been begun updating the facility with new carpet and paint. They do not take Medicaid, so if you run out of money you do have to move out. Overall it has been fantastic and I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Oak Gardens Place is a sister facility to the one that we chose. The only difference was they were a little further away from where I live. The facility is smaller so the cleanliness and quality of care is great. It also has a homey feel to it. If their sister facility was not closer, this hands down would have been our first choice.

We chose Wissota Place because of the quality of care for the price. It has a very country home feel to it. I live out in the country and this is the closest facility we could find. It feels like one big family. When my dad needs something, they immediately let me know and have been great with communication. I would recommend them to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and the community is very nice, however we just did not think the atmosphere was going to be suitable for our loved one, its a very lively environment and she is more laid back

I would highly recommend Discovery Village at The West End. The staff have been great to work with. There are a lot of activities for the residents to choose from. The food overall could be improved upon.

This is an excellent place to be where they treat them well. it is clean and friendly and a nice place to visit. They have activities like field trips to the movies, singing and other group activities.

Our family had an in person tour and this community was very nice, this would be a great place to live

This was a good community but my loved one went with another community as her final choice.
