To make and be involved with your loved ones to do check up and reviews as the staff rotates quite a bit. Stay on top of things and make sure they understand current needs or requests on your loved ones. Overall nice place.

The Holiday Parkview community is very clean and the staff members are really friendly. Overall it is expensive but it provides the needs and wants for our loved one. They could work to improve the meals and dining service but we would still recommend this community to other families.

Brookdale Hoffman Estates was fantastic! They were very good to my brother. Unfortunately he progressed to needing more care at a memory care facility.

The care services seem to be good. The food is really good. They have a few activites going on. It is a lot of money, but a pretty good deal. The staff has a very pleasant attitude. The people are friendly and pleasant. Overall, it's a great place for mom.

This facility was great. Mom really liked it there. We wish she could have stayed longer, but her care needs changed and we had to move her to a different facility. The housekeeping was good, her room was clean. They had a good variety of options for activities. Communication between the facility and family was really good. Mom really loved the food, also. She mentioned that often. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Brookdale Bonita Springs was a nice place, it was actually the first place that I looked at when I started touring. For us the location was too far away. They were also going through some big renovations at the time that we visited so it was kind of hard to get a good feel of what it was going to look like. I think once it is updated it is going to look great.

We had a great tour experience at Tuscany Villas in Naples. We really liked the facility and what they had to offer. The person who gave the tour was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a bit more expensive than what we wanted and they only had 1 bedroom apartments available at the time and we were looking for a 2 bedroom.

I think this facility is wonderful! My loved one is very pleased with it. She feels safe there and I feel safe having her there. The facility is very clean and welcoming. They are doing a little bit of remodeling and replacing carpet, but hopefully that is done soon. It hasn't been too much of an inconvenience, though. They have so many activities and games, church groups, singing groups etc and we are very happy with that. We feel like we did a great job choosing her facility. The staff is very nice. The cleaning staff doesn't speak very much English and that causes a language barrier at times, but they're very thorough and do great job. They'll do anything you ask with no problems. They do greet you at the door and have a security process to get into the facility, which we love. The food is good, I have eaten there a few times myself. They have a buffet line with plenty of variety. My loved one is a very picky eater, so her satisfaction with the food says a lot! The family has all been very happy with the facility. I would recommend them to friends and family.

SummerHouse Bay Cove is a great place for you to put your mom; my mom has been very happy. We haven't sold her house just yet, but we are working on it. I would describe their staff as friendly and very nice, [name removed] is excellent. She's the one who's helped us and she's been wonderful. The move in process was easy as well. Some of their activities include shopping, eating and other outings, board games, wine tasting, etc., she's very happy. I would recommend them to anybody!

Morada Deer Park is a hidden gem. I never expected to find this place in this little area. You take that left, and you'll turn into this hidden gem; it's perfect. My husband kids that we've found the place we'll move into when we're ready. The waiters come over and introduce themselves and they talk to the residents. They recognize my mom and what she wants to eat and drink. The activities director greets her by name. I know all the staff on a first name basis and vice versa. They're very efficient, very courteous, and professional. [name removed] is the best, he runs around fixing windows, doors, and so forth. When I walked in I said excuse me sir, can you fix this and that. Before 24 hours had passed it was done. We had a sticky note on my moms front door and I saw him walking down the hall, I stopped him and he said he'd add it to his list. My mom came back and the door was done. I was really impressed. The reason I was so impressed is because I don't live in the middle of Clear Lake, I don't have a million dollar house. I was afraid we wouldnt be able to find something in this area. So when we found it, we both instantly fell in love. They're friendly and personable, the community looks clean. It looks almost brand new after Harvey - they've really spruced it up. My mom's name is [name removed]; [name removed] the activities director walked by and recognized her last name. She stopped and asked her if she played Mexican bingo, my mom said yes. So she said, "I'm thinking about adding that. If I do, will you play?" I thought it was so cute and thoughtful that she was wanting to add activities that represent my moms culture. She also mentioned that there will be a florist coming in and that she told [name removed] about her. [name removed] is a resident, who of my mom having a different cultural background and wanting to make her feel comfortable in the most respectful way. That was nice! +

My brother and I decided that we could not handle moving Mom into our home and the hospital found placement for her at Brookdale after Dad died. Mom is comfortable at Brookdale. She is calm at Brookdale, She is clean at Brookdale. She wasn't any of these things at home before our Dad died.

My husband and I moved in to Watermark Independent Living in Trinity in [date removed]. It was a blessing that we had made the decision to move here, because shortly after moving in, my husband passed away. Not having any family living close by, the residents and staff became my family. Their support and encouragement to participate in the activities helped me develop new friends :) Some of the reasons why we chose Watermark as our new home are: * New construction * Apartments are equipped with full-size washer / dyer, and kitchen appliances. * Flexible dining - serving daily meals in the cafe & dining room. Rent includes many amenities and services that offset monthly expense when compared to expenses paid when owning our home. * Activities and social events provide opportunities to socialize with others to make friends, and to encourage a healthy active lifestyle.

I would give La Marea a 10 out of 5 if I could, they are excellent. The staff members that work here are what really sticks out about this facility.

I can't say enough positive things about this facility. I adored them. The staff and facility is absolutely wonderful! I've already told my in laws that if they ever need a place, this is our top choice. I would choose it for myself! It is gorgeous! It is a great place for the cost. Especially for those who don't need as much assistance and want to live on their own. I loved everything about it. The one issue I had is after mom passed. She passed early in the month and they still withdrew the next months rent out of my account at the start of that following month. It took 5 weeks and at least 4 calls to them to get my money back. That was frustrating and so stressful to have to deal with, especially with all of the other expenses we had to cover after her passing. But as frustrating as that was, I think so highly of this facility that I would hands down still recommend them to everyone I could.

My husband's care was exceptional. I could not have asked for anything better. The nurses, the techs - they all called him "Papa" and were just amazing. A facility can have all the bells and whistles, but if the staff isn't there for you, none of that makes any difference. It was the staff that truly made Capstone.

Discovery Village at The Forum seemed like a really good choice - they gave us a great tour experience. The people were all great. The activities that they had provided for the residents were PHENOMONAL. For us it came down to the location. It is in the middle of a lot of new construction and traffic. This would have added a lot of time to her drive if she wanted to come visit us or if we wanted to visit her. That was the only downfall.

For the meals and dining we are not really sure, because my mother needed to be on Purée diet due to her cancer. Towards the end she just couldn't eat. My mother tried to participate, but just couldn't, because she was so sick. Summit had many activities and those that Mom could participate she loved. The cost was high, but we had long term care, in my opinion Summit place was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone! The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to care for our Mom, especially in her last days.

Morada Deer Park is an absolutely awesome community. The staff members a respectful to the residents. They are a BIG LOVING FAMILY. They honestly care about the residents & always see to their needs. Also the residents look out for each other. The food is great & lots of activities. There is never a dull moment. If you’re looking for a safe & happy community for your LOVED ONE I recommend Morada Deer Park.

Toured this community with my mom. Residents and staff members were very kind. Family friendly.

Carolina Gardens has been a really awesome experience so far. The director [name removed] has been really good to work with even though you can see at times they are struggling with staffing. The nurse [name removed] is awesome, we really like her. [name removed] who does the house keeping is on top of everything, if there is something wrong with the room and she is made aware of it she fixes the issues right away. They could use more activities on our loved ones unit there really isn't much going on.
