My mom and I visited this place. We are looking for long term living. My mom really enjoyed everything they had to offer. Staff was wonderful especially our tour guide [name removed].

We really really liked Benton House Woodstock and wanted to put our loved one here. Unfortunately they do not do thickened liquids and that is what he needed, so that is the reason we had to go with a different facility.

We were very satisfied with this facility! The staff was just wonderful, they treated my sister with dignity and respect. We never had an issue with the staff. The tour guide was great. The facility was very clean, they did a great job keeping it clean. The food was good. They were great about communicating with the family. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

It was a very clean, and friendly community. The care services were excellent. The interaction with the staff was good. They were wonderful. The food was delicious, and we loved it. A lot of good activities were offered to the residents. My loved one had plenty of nursing care, and a nice apartment. they also, had a nice room in memory care and it was very clean.

Allara Senior Living has been great for my mother in law. They get 5 in all categories except for the meals. The meals could use a little improvement with the variety and just better overall.

Everybody here is awesome, when I first moved in the people here did not let me be alone - they would come sit with me in the dining hall and within the first two weeks I already knew the names of a handful of residents. The staff have been so welcoming and are just totally awesome. They always know what you want, what kind of foods you like and aere just overall wonderful people. I never expected anything like this when I moved in. The house keeping is great, they help change my sheets. Even though we do not have a pool we have some darn good nice people

Housekeeping is excellent especially [name removed]and [name removed]- they do excellent work and are very pleasant and helpful. We are extremely fortunate to have them.

The communication with the staff was excellent. They did great at everything they did.

This community is really good. I haven't seen anything negative. I toured several and this is the best facility. The staff is amazing and they really care. They do housekeeping once a week and do a great job. It the residents have animals, the staff helps care for them also. Communication is excellent between staff and families. The food is eloquent, you feel like you're on a cruise ship. They always decorate for holidays and have a monthly community birthday celebration. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I was highly impressed with Brookdale Des Plaines when researching an independent living arrangement for my mom, and now my aunt is here in an assisted living apartment. From the directors, nurse, front desk, dining and custodial staff all are respectful, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable to the residents. Many things are included in the assisted living package such as laundry, and bed changing. Transportation to a doctor within a mile zone can be provided which is very helpful if your loved ones are in wheelchairs. Many types of doctors visit once a month such as podiatrists and for vaccinations. There are activities morning till evening with a daily bus to local stores and a once a week outing. My mom liked the mailboat trip and lunch in Lake Geneva and Drury Lane performance the best. My aunt is once again smiling, engaged and happy thanks to the attentive, warm and helpful staff. We had a very positive experience with The Haven and The Laurels. The food was good here as well. I would recommend you check the community out for your loved one. The staff communication with the family was very good. There were three meals a day served and the resident had choices to choose from. The community is able to work with dietary restrictions. They were able to provide medication management, dressing, bathing assistance, and hygiene care.

They were simply fantastic , they did everything possible and were very caring and polite with him. The nurse was very patient and compassionate with him which was very welcomed from our family. Found the right place for certain for my brother and would highly recommend them to anyone whom asks.

The people were so nice, it was a beautiful place but the location was further away.

My loved one likes the food. They offer plenty of activities. My loved one is in the memory care unit, and seems to be doing good. Overall, it's a nice place.

They had a vancay and painted, and installed new carpet. They were fabulous about setting up furniture. They were really good with setting up anything that was needed. Overall, everything has just been wonderful.

The dining room is absolutely exquisite and clean and just wonderful. The staff is amazing. They offer many options. They offer a ton of activities , but have so many to chose from. The staff have been so helpful and so reliable. They just go above and beyond for all residents. They are by far one of the best in the city, they have with wonderful.

My husband and I really enjoy living here! We are independent and have lived here 2 months! Enjoy many activities. The chef [name removed] is fantastic! We enjoy his demos and his menus!

We chose Walker Place mainly because when I was state inspector I had inspected the place and knew quality when I saw it. It is a very cozy and home like atmosphere. There is a courtyard in the middle of the facility and you can observe it from the common areas and dining room as well which is very nice. The food is excellent. If you have an elderly loved one who are worried about falling this would be the place for them because staff can easily see residents from where they are at in the facility. I would highly recommend Walker Place to others.
