What we like most about the Solstice Senior Living are the staff, They are very nice to us. Which is super important. There are a variety of things to do. They always decorate well and the place looks really nice.

The staff and the residents at The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights are all friendly, kind, competent and generous. The neighborhood that this facility is in is fantastic. I would recommend Watermark without any hesitation.

My mom is a resident at The Haven and The Laurels in Stone Oak. Her experience has been great, overall. The staff is very helpful and polite. The housekeeping does a good job with keeping the rooms clean, etc. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My Mom is currently a resident at Addington Place of Shoal Creek, we moved her to this facility from her previous one. She has participated in rehab and has recovered to the point that she was able to move from Memory Care to an Assisted Living Apartment. She is no longer using her wheelchair and can take care of her needs, independently, on most occasions. She is making new friends, helping staff with activities and going into the community with the facility. At this facility, they are friendly and helpful and seem to care about my Mom and all of the residents. I would highly recommend Addington Place to others.

The moment you arrive at Sagebrook you are greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. The facility is clean and well staffed. The assistants are friendly and do what they can to make Sagebrook a pleasant and comforting stay for residents. Sagebrook engages it's residents in many activities including handiwork, concerts and very special holiday celebration meals. Speaking of which, Sagebrook offers three delicious meals each day. I feel lucky that my uncle has chosen Sagebrook as his assisted living facility. Highly recommended!

They are taking excellent care of my mom and know me by name!! Overall the facility is clean. However there is one woman who is on my mom's floor that often refuses to bathe and can smell, at times so bad that the hallway smells. She has no family unfortunately so they are working with her conservator to help change things. Staff is very friendly! They know me by name and they know my mom very well. We've had a couple of 3rd shift issues but they have been addressed. My mom still needs a lot of assistance and they are always willing to help. She gets her meds on time and they assist her with physical therapy and bathing. The meals and dining are a 3 according to my mom's thoughts. However the couple of times we've been there it looks pretty good. My only concern is that they seem to serve a lot of carbs like rice and peas at the same time for example. Activities are everyday Monday through Friday and they have them posted by day as well as by month so I would say that's a. Compared to other facilities they charge less yet do so much for their residents. I would certainly recommend them to my friends and relatives if they needed a place.

TerraBella Spartanburg isn't the fanciest or shiniest facility we toured. We toured 4 around Spartanburg. But as soon as our tour was over, I knew it was the right place for my dad. It's a very homey place. It's older, but it's always clean and the people living there are excited and happy to be there, which speaks volumes. There is life in them! The staff are engaged with the residents and they treated my dad like their own father. The rooms are spacious, which was very important to us. Unfortunately my dad passed away only about 2 months after being at TerraBella, in [date removed]. He had progressive Lewy Body Dementia and it was horrible for us to have to finally place him in a memory care facility. To this day I have no regrets about choosing TerraBella for him.

The food is pre-made and they serve a lot of the same fried and breaded meals. I prefer to have fresh foods. I was told that meals were going to be chef prepared. Which here means that the so called chef only places an already prepared meal onto a plate. They just raised my rent. I'm not able to get all the meals, since I work. I only have a studio, so I think it could be a lot cheaper or have internet in the rooms instead of the common rooms. Which is in the center of the building. Or have certain plans like I don't get all meals, that you could substitute having internet in my room. I do think it would be helpful if they had a lockbox that we could drop our rent checks off in. Overall I am satisfied, I am happy it is a pet friendly facility. I would recommend, but they do need to listen to the residents.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with the community. The staff are kind, caring, and helpful. It makes you feel like a big warm family. There are activities available; however, there is poor participation from the residents. Everyone does seem to be friendly though. Overall this is a community we would recommend you check out for your loved one.

I enjoyed the tour of the community. The only drawback was that my family wanted me to be closer to them to be able to visit more. This is the reason I choose another community.

The care and staff are outstanding there. The only two drawbacks are that they do not take a Medicaid waiver and they are on the high end of price. However, the quality of care is excellent.

We are very happy with Solstice and so is Mom. She has had a lot of health issues lately and we have been able to get the support she needs by contracting their in house home health aids for her day to day care. Things are going well. The staff are extremely helpful and nice. They learn the residents names quickly and always address them by name. Social gatherings are organized weekly and staff participated in the festivities. It is a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They have a wide array of apartment sizes offered, from studio apartments to town houses.

Honestly I cant complain - they get a 5/5 on every category. The most wonderful thing that I have enjoyed personally and that I am grateful for is their kindness, friendliness, patience, encouragement, and wonderful and caring attitudes at all times. They truly are a senior living community. I think the rest of my family would agree as well. Their cleanliness is equally wonderful. It's truly an inviting and healthy atmosphere at Solstice Senior Living.

Mom loved everyone who assisted her. The staff always greeted our family as if we were all family. Short of an occasional shortage of staff due to covid/illness, Mom was tended to in a timely manner. Food was also plenty and tasty. I got to eat with her on various occasions. Facility is always clean and doesn't have an "old folks" smell. I told the staff that I would be willing to live there!

I am very happy so far with everything at Holiday Arcadia Place. The staff members are a very nice team. All of the tenants seem happy when I come to visit. My father has adapted wonderfully to the community and is quiet content. So far we have had no problems at all.

In my opinion, Benton House of Douglasville is quite expensive. The majority of the staff are nice, but there always seems to a shortage of staff members. My residence here started over a year ago, and the facility has been over half full. Personally, I think it's the cost to live here that is causing that to happen.

Morada Deer Park would be my place to live. As you enter the community there is warm atmosphere of caring. From the time you enter the community to the end of your tour the staff members are very welcoming. They provide transportation for residents on Tuesdays and Thursdays. who have doctors appointments. Wednesdays they will take the residents to Walmart. Who doesn’t like to go to Walmart. Lol. They also have what they call “ Lunch Bunch to area restaurants. They will take you shopping and to the movie theaters. Morada Deer Park has a lot to offer. They also have a happy hour, exercise, kickball , axe throwing, painting, arts & crafts, cooking, beach and a crazy game they play called goofball. Which seems pretty funny to watch. Of course just like every other community. They have BINGO which we know everyone enjoys to play. They also have a gardening club for those who miss gardening at their homes. Morada Deer Park understands the “Transitioning Phase” for your loved one.

Moving my mom to independent living was a very painful decision. The person we worked with at Solstice made it so much better just by her supportive and cheerful attitude. Instead of losing a family member (that’s how I felt) we ended up gaining a huge family with everyone at Solstice being so kind and caring. It is a very supportive community and I wouldn’t want my mom any other place. Thanks Solstice Austin!

For those that have loved ones who like to remain active and are able to do so, I'd like to see more options. Also, be very patient the first months while you are getting to know who to talk to on the staff, at least until the first inevitable kinks are worked out.
