Super friendly and supportive of residents. Pretty low key, not a lot of amenities, but made up for by great staff.

The move in process was seamless and communication had been great when we've had questions. Most of the staff is very friendly. Housekeeping is once a week. Meals aren't bad, but I feel they offer too many desserts and sweets during meals and at the snack area. The food is pretty good, but they don't have fresh fruit on a regular basis. Overall, it's very affordable and an excellent value!

My mom loves it there, has made great friends, and the staff are very helpful. Apartments are great, her unit is small but it's all she needs. She loves the activities, transportation, and food.

Staff was caring, housekeeping was excellent, the move in process was okay (more help could have been provided). The meals were great. Communication with the family (especially medical information) was not consistent or acceptable. Any time the home health nurse was involved, communication was good. Trying to communicate through the nursing office was difficult at best. Overall, our family would definitely recommend this facility.

The staff is wonderful, the facility is clean and it's "bright". I visited other facilities in our area and they were kind of dark. I think a bright atmosphere has a big affect on mood. I would recommend this assisted living to anyone

The AL staff is fantastic. I like that it doesn't 'feel' like an assisted living facility, like most do. I toured many that were set up like dorm rooms! I honestly am not thrilled with the food. They have changed over a few times since my dad has been there and it has really gone downhill.

The best feature is the friendliness of both residents and staff. It is really like a family! The setting of the facility is without parallel! The lake and the grounds. The facility itself is older, so there are occasional breakdowns, but the staff are most accommodating.

5 on all . This is an investment worth making. Clean , friendly environment with the personal touch that makes it feel like home.

The staff that I've dealt with has been very helpful - the concierge at the front desk, maintenance team and dining room employees. Quick turn around when she's needed light bulb changed, clogged toilet, etc. The apartments are very spacious with updated appliances and granite countertops. Moms is a two bedroom/two bath with a nice large deck overlooking the courtyard.

Heartis Clearlake is lovely! They did recently lose their amazing director and I'm not familiar with the new one. We would have had my Mom continue to live there.

They were wonderful to deal with and would recommend them to everyone. I visited daily and was aware of all goings on. They were great.

I would highly recommend Ormond in the Pines. My mother has now been here for over a year and they have been great. [Name removed] the Director is very good and guiding new residents and their families through the process of adjusting. The front desk ladies, [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are very great with helping with organizing rides from the bus to doctors appts, shopping etc. ([Name removed] the driver is also extremely helpful). The facility has activities ranging from music, to outings to bingo, and games as well as other fun things and even exercise classes!

I love this place. I am incredibly happy here. I love my apartment. The people here are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome.

We took one tour and we were already hooked on Solstice. We had no need to go anywhere else. The food is really good. He loves his cheerful bright unit and has made several friends already. The live music and trips planned look like a lot of fun and he’s willing to try them. The housekeeper has been nothing but helpful and the girls at the front desk are always respectful and friendly. He has no need for a cell phone bc he has a landline hooked up. The cable is included. The management is involved in every corner of the operation and assured us from day one that he would love it and he does. Thank you to everyone involved.

Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst is full occupancy for a reason- elders who are extremely happy, inspired and looking for a chapter of fun & friendship. The associates all work well together, help one another and want only the BEST for our residents. The teamwork has been awarded for its #1 satisfaction rates within our company. Our residents and family members are grateful for us, all but we in return know that without them Solstice wouldn't be the positive amazing culture it is. An honor to work for such a committed community for excellence.

I am almost 98 years old, still drive, make friends and enjoy socializing with others. Everything here at Solstice at East Amherst makes me feel safe & comfortable, happy & satisfied. The food is very good, I sit with new friends and there are many choices. I appreciate that housekeeping is once a week as well as the changing of my bedding. I haven't laughed this much in decades! I wish I didn't wait so long to move here because I mean it - I LOVE it.

I have lived here for 3.5 years and enjoy all of the great food choices, activities that involve wellness efforts like walking club, exercise classes and cultural experiences too. The friendly atmosphere and culture is what I needed! Management is always available, leads with confidence tackling concerns and fixes what is promised. The staff is wonderful.

I’ve been here for 3 years and I really like living here. Residents are really friendly and helpful. Sometimes I need help with my phone and the staff always helps me out. I like the sports club a lot and watch the news and I understand more about the sports from the club. It’s a positive fun group. They do all sports and I enjoy myself coming. I look forward to the activities here.

It is a very nice place. I like the people, they are very pleasant. When people enter they are greeted very pleasantly. I am very comfortable here. The food is excellent. I love the courtyard. It is nice to sit out there with other residents and visitors. It is a very nice, homey place. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very welcome. [Name removed], the executive director, is wonderful. He’s easy to talk to and is always smiling.

I would highly recommend them and would stay there myself if the need arose.I picked them because it didn't feel like a facility, it felt homey and welcoming. The staff seemed genuine and like they enjoyed working there.
