My daughters and I chose Discovery Commons memory care for my wife who has Lewy Body Demencia. It appeared to have a very homelike environment with caregivers who really cared. We made a great choice . It’s the people there that make this care facility so wonderful .

Staff are very kind and accommodating, we've a had a great experience for my mother in law. I highly recommend Solstice at Lee's Summit.

I am very happy with this choice.I would say I have met many nice, kind and interesting people. After a year they feel like family. I grew up in this area so it was like a homecoming and the cost was an important consideration.

Grasslands offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with alternative options which my mother has had no complaints on since we moved her in. I am grateful to have found a community to provide all meals. She struggled making meals for herself and microwave food is not an ideal choice meal I'd want my mother to have. I love that she can dine with others and socialize during meals. She has met a very close friend who offers to car pool along. Another bonus i enjoy, is knowing she has clean bedding and fresh towels thanks to the housekeeping team. We viewed a few different communities in the area, but there were lots of extra charges al la carte that can become quiet expensive when added in. I love that Grasslands has everything in one bill. Including all utilities.

I contacted A Place For Mom to help me find an independent living facility because I was moving my mother from Pennsylvania to New Jersey so that we could be closer. [name removed] was very helpful and provided me with different facilities that matched what I was looking for. Seaton Voorhees was one of the facilities [name removed] recommended. After a tour and speaking with management, I was convinced that Seaton was "the place for mom". Mom has been there about 2 months and she is very happy. Great accommodations and meals along with numerous activities and entertainment for the residents. I highly recommend Seaton Voorhees to anyone looking for a home for their senior loved one.

The Remington is a wonderful group of seniors who live independently , happy, I am so happy I have family at The Remington. Good food and friends, a large apartment and things to do . I feel comfortable they are there and trust their kind staff

The staff (all of them) know your family member by name. They are not a number. Housekeeping is consistent and it's obvious when the clean. The care team is easy to communicate with and knows what's happening with your family member. The care is consistent throughout the team, which amazes me. I'm told this is due to the strict training that they all receive. I absolutely recommend Holiday Ormond in the Pines. My mother is there now and they are a God-send to me. My husband and I would live there when we reach that time of needed extra eyes and availability of 24-7 assistance.

We are so glad we made this choice. The staff is very friendly and caring. The residents are also very nice. The food is really good. We are quite happy here!

I would tell others when touring the facility observe the caregivers. Do they seem happy to be working there, how do they interact with the residents, genuine smiles and attitude? Based off of our personal experience, I would recommend Heartis Village to others looking!

The Park was a great place for my Dad. He loved the 3 delicious meals each day with lots of variation and selections. They have several game rooms with people in them having fun. He enjoyed the worship service on Sundays. He also liked going to the salon upstairs for a haircut His studio was a perfect size for him and they took care of his linens and cleaned weekly. The tour guide is very friendly and helpful as we met her for our initial tours. We checked out several places in person and The Park was the best fit for assisted living for Dad. We met a couple on check in day who had waited several months for an opening. We were blessed that an apartment was available when we needed it.

Our family is very happy with the staff and services at New Seasons. They treat mom with great respect and meet her needs daily. Many activities are available and they encourage involvement. They let us know immediately if they have any concerns. Mom really enjoys her meals and the new friends she has met.

This community has provided my mother with abundant social interactions, an updated apartment with an attached garage, amenities in a convenient location, and attentive staff who oversee the facility with attention to detail and responsiveness to requests.

My dad had a sharp decline in health and suddenly could not live independently. I was scrambling to find an assisted living place for him. LakeHouse was a perfect fit! Even though he was only there for a little while until his passing, the staff was always friendly with him, and he was happy with their help. The executive director kept in contact with me, even late at night, to keep me informed about anything that may have happened: falls, eating habits, bathroom accidents, medication needs, she was also kind of a liason for the visiting doctor and helped keep me in the loop about medical needs. My experience with LakeHouse was short, but I am glad I found them and they could help my dad feel welcome in a great time of need.

Loved how nice and clean the facility was. The staff was very kind and helpful. Always communicated with me about all items concerning my grandmother. Room sizes were in memory care were the largest out of all facilities we looked at. Very roomy and nice.

I've toured several independent living places for myself and Five Star Premier Residences of Dallas is by far the best by leaps and bounds! The sales ladies, [name removed] and [name removed], are personable, very informative and I did not feel pushed to make a haste decision like some other places. And I'm so happy I accepted their invitation to lunch during my first visit because I had so many choices to choose from and the food is absolutely delicious! I've actually visited three times and each time I see residents having a good time and staff interacting with everyone. I already feel spoiled - when I drive up and my car is valet parked at no charge! I'm very much looking forward to the all-inclusive lifestyle WITHOUT the big buy-in!!

Staff are nice and polite. Spend time helping but also talking to my mom. The medication management is their weakest area. Overall the best value in assisted living for people with minimal medical needs. Not recommended for highly medically or cognitively compromised.

My sister was there for a respite stay following surgery. I found the staff to be professional, competent and courteous in all their dealings with me on behalf of my sister (the client), often going above and beyond my expectations.

The staff at every level was very attentive to Mom and made Mom's stay as pleasant as possible. The facility was clean and well maintained. The other residents also appeared happy and liked their experience there as well.

We sadly lost Mom-n-Law at New Year and had to move father into a new place quickly. I had been working with a Place for Mom for a few weeks and up came a referral for Holiday Virginian. They had a great offer and the sales staff was excellent. After a great visit father-in-law was very excited to move!
