Dial Retirement Communities

This was a nice community. It was a little more expensive. There was just another community that worked better for my loved one.

We had a good tour at Woodlands Creek. I felt like they wanted to understand and accommodate the unique needs of each individual. I thought the tour was very informative.

The community is very clean and setting all the covid restrictions aside the activities provided for the residents are wonderful. Something we specifically liked for our loved one is their upper deck view, it is just breathtaking. The outdoor space is wonderful and a great place to relax.

I felt really good about the community. This community was a bit to far away from where I wanted my loved ones to be. They are still driving and we wanted them to be in an familiar area without the highway.

We looked at several different places and we liked Atria the best because the apartments were more functional and nice and we also liked the staff and activities that they provided. They do have a new executive director and he has been fantastic and has done wonderful things already in the short time that he has been here. I would recommend them to others looking.

This is an average community. They provide good care in memory care for my loved one. The food can be bland, but has a lot of variety for the residents to choose from. The community allows cats and dogs.

My loved one has been there for three months and we have been pleased with the care they are receiving. We would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The food is excellent, they have a lot of fish options, and good vegetables that aren't overdone. The menu is diverse. Some of the activities include card games, bingo, live entertainment, and more for the residents to choose from. The activities director is very engaged with the residents and trying to get them involved in the activities offered.

Everyone is really nice. It seems to be a really nice place, with a good layout, and lots of things to offer. The residents seem really happy. They always greet each other and us. No one looks miserable like we've seen at other places. It seems like everyone is pretty independent, just like the community name says. It seems more like a hotel than a nursing home. I really have nothing negative to say. Her apartment is small but pretty nice, and it seems to have everything that she needs.

I would recommend the community for someone who is fairly independent. There is a struggle in keeping the cleaning staff for the resident's rooms. It was almost one month before my loved one had another staff member to assist the cleaning on the entire floor of the resident's rooms. My loved one likes the food sometimes.

Our loved one was a care giver to our father for 7 years, and this community has given her the chance to ease back into society. She is able to get back to doing things on her own and this is a safe place to do that. Also our loved one has the choice to cook for herself or not.

I would say come take a tour and stay for lunch. The food is tolerable, not great but not real bad either. Overall I've been happy here. It's friendly here and a nice place to live. My apartment could be bigger, but I'm satisfied with it. I like playing trivia with the other residents. They allow pets, so I was able to bring mine with me.

I started looking at it while it was under construction before covid hit, I liked that it would be brand new and it was close to my house. She was at another facility previously and Atria was less restrictive so I would be able to see my mom. They have been really good with communication, I have the memory care directors number she said we can call and text anytime we need which is comforting to know. They text or call when there are any issues that come up. They can't do activities like they would like normal but they are doing things trivia games, exercise, going on walks, etc. so they are trying their hardest. Overall I would recommend to others who are looking.

I would recommend The Montclair to others for their loved ones. The biggest complaint we have with them is the food quality and variety. They have been working on making corrections to the food options.

They're very friendly here, and keep things very clean. They have lots of activities. My favorites are dominos and cards. I've been having my food delivered to my apartment, and sometimes it's messed up. It just doesn't look as good as if you had the plate handed to you in the dining room. It looks small in the containers. But if you're able to go down to the dining room, it's excellent.

The community is in the process of moving along towards getting the activities back in order, and the community is starting to open back up. They are now offering three meals in the dining room which is a big thing, beforehand the meals were being delivered to our rooms.

It has been a great place for my parents. The staff has been accommodating and helpful. It has been the best place we found. The communication has been excellent. They allow virtual visits, or have scheduled appointments with our loved ones. We even are able to take our loved one out into the community during the pandemic.

I would tell people to come check the community out, have a few meals. The only complaint I have is the food. The food has too much salt, and will arrive cold. Overall, the food just isn't good. Independence Village hasn't had any issues with COVID. They are doing construction and I feel this should improve the community. I don't feel you get your money's worth at this community, however.

There has been a change of management recently, the community seems to be influx. I would consider this place again for my loved one, but I also recommend looking around at other communities. The food is enjoyed by my loved one.

Want diabetes care, friendly atmosphere, well prepared food with variety, place where family can normally visit when Covid has passed, place where you can go out with family, activities in the care place

On the whole, I feel that Solana is a well-run community. However, the caregivers are highly overworked. I have been here for five months, 6 caregivers have left and none were hired. There are 2 more leaving in the next two weeks. The caregivers are superb, never complaining. My thoughts are just an observation. I would hate to lose more caregivers to poor work conditions.
