The staff is outstanding. Very caring and always willing to help. The complete staff knows your name. The food is wonderful. Always a variety to pick from and even if not on the menu they will cook something for you. Fruit, ice cream, cookies, and coffee always available. Rehab is located on site. Appointments are done on site so no worries about transportation. Cleaning is done weekly on apartments. If you need help with meds they are there no problem. Dr. on site twice a week. My family looked at 5 places before making the decision to move my mother here. We have only praise for the staff at Silvercrest at College.

Favorite property of those toured. Had the homiest and friendliest feel. Very close to my daughter's house.The studio shown us was huge even though a little pricey. Menu choices were varied and multiple for each meal.

Mom absolutely loves her new home at Kipling Meadows. The people and staff are all very friendly and caring. The activities are fun and meals are delicious. She is happier now than she's been in years!

My mom is so happy at Kipling Meadows! She has made a bunch of new friends and loves the exercise classes. The food is very good and the activities are awesome. She is able to maintain her independence with assistance when needed. I can't thick of a better place for her to be in her golden years!

As a resident who has had lived at Silvercrest at Deer Creek during the past eight months, I could not be happier with where I live and the people I am with daily. The people who work a Silvercrest at Deer Creek I consider to be somewhere in the realm of family. I feel so cared for. They are attentive to my needs and I am just incredulous at how responsive they are to my requests. When I have asked for help with something, it has been done more quickly than I would ever have hoped for. Silvercrest at Deer Creek clearly values cultivating and maintaining relationships and my experience has taught me that responding to residents must be the organization's top priority. I really enjoy the food and the kitchen staff has been very responsive to requests and comments I’ve made. They and other departments have invited feedback and acted upon it since I’ve lived here. Relationships with fellow residents have become friendships that in other circumstances would take a long time to evolve. I am learning to play bridge, thanks to the generosity of some of my new friends. My favorite organized activities are drama club and gong to see live theater, “brain games” (trivia), and coffee chats or social hour in the pub. My neighbor is a talented artist and has begun teaching painting classes. I love living at the SDC location. Fantastic shopping and restaurants are only blocks away. I love living at Silvercrest at Deer Creek. I could not have chosen a place more perfect for me!

Independence Village of Peoria is a wonderful place for my parents! We moved my parents in 2 months ago. They lived in another community before and they really didn't adjust well. They love the food and the staff! They have been extremely accommodating and wonderful with my parents. They have made a lot of friends and have had so much fun in just the past 2 months. They have a lot of great entertainment and other fun things to do. The housekeepers are wonderful and the kitchen staff are super! The administrator is wonderful and caring and has gone above and beyond for my parents! I cannot say enough good things about Independence Village!!

We moved my father into Independence Village last April. We thought we would have much resistance from him, but he willingly went to visit and fell in love with the staff, the people and his apartment. We knew the moment we walked through the doors that it would be a perfect fit for Dad. He is enjoying new friends, new activities and a new freedom and security. He knows if somthing were to happen to him, help would be right there, but yet he has his privacy as well. The staff couldn't be any friendlier. They take time with the residents and never that my father or myself have witnessed ignore or are rude to them.He enjoys the food and his dinner companions. Very nice amenities. You can tell that it's only a couple of years old. Well taken care of. Fresh and contemporary. I didn’t see as much interaction and activity amongst the residents as I was hoping. Very few were in the common areas during our tour.

Solana is a relatively new facility that is nicely decorated. It offers a lot of the fitness and other activities that we would require. Unfortunatley the size of the units we were shown do not meet our requirements.

The best I've seen! Gorgeous common spaces, bright and open. A good selection of apartments both in independent and assisted living. The menu looked delicious and lots of in house activities planned. The seniors that I met all seemed engaged and happy. [Removed] had lots of suggestions to try to get Mom to consider a visit. Very impressed.

We went on a tour here and liked what we saw. She was great at answering all of our questions. It was nice and clean. The apartments were small but spacious. They had lots of daily activities. The set up was good too. We are just looking around right now.

This community is very convenient for me and this was a huge factor. The staff have been here for many years. They know the residents name and all about them. My mom is catholic and they have a priest here so she loved that. The food varies some days it is good and other days not so much. But it is a smaller very homey feeling it is like a family there. [Removed] went out of her way to call my mom and comfort her transitioning. The housekeeping are always cleaning. This was a good fit for mom I would recommend them to my friends and Mom has even recommended to her friend.

My husband and I are here currently and everything’s going good. It’s everything that we thought it would be. The food is great, the people are friendly, they don’t bug you about stuff and it is independent living so you can do what you want but they’re there to help you if you need it. They know your name and the activities are great. You can get 3 meals a day if you want to but they usually serve large lunches. They have a points system and you get 310 points a month that have already been paid for and you use that for dining. They have a lot of variety and they give you so many choices every day. But if you don’t like what’s offered, you can always get something else. We’ve found that their choices are very good. The rooms and the facility are so bright and cheery, there are lots of windows, and we even have a full sized kitchen. The facility will take us out to the mall if we want to go, they’re taking everyone to see the Christmas lights after Thanksgiving, there are card games, bingo, a rec room and movies, an exercise room, there’s adult coloring, and you can sign up to volunteer (recently some elementary school kids came by and we all read to them). We visited a few times before moving in and it just felt like home and we didn’t think we needed to look anymore. I would recommend it here.

I toured this facility when I was helping my sister look for a place for my brother-in-law and, honestly, it looks more like a spa than a nursing home. There are high ceilings, bright lights all around, and it’s just beautiful. The person that gave me the tour was very nice, though there wasn’t a lot of staff around to interact with. The director was very open to sharing information regarding the facility and was able to answer all of my questions. The facility itself is a large place. It’s pretty new, too, and has only been open for maybe a year. It certainly has all the bells and whistles you’d need and looks great. We ultimately chose a different community for my Brother-in-law and I think it was because we didn’t quite know enough, or have enough information, to really pursue this specific community further.

This is a great community for excellent care. The community is always clean and maintained. I like knowing that he does enjoy the menu of healthy meals that are provided. They have a lot of good activities that are available for him to participate. We would recommend the care and value of this community for other families.

My friend lived here when it first opened and she loved it there. She moved out to be close to family but returned to the community and fell in love with it again. She loves the food, her friends, the apartment, and the management team. She is almost like an advocate for the community.

My in laws is doing great since their move to this community. They are enjoying their time here, and we are comfortable with their move to this community. They have a great staff, and they are kind whenever we visit. Also they have been responsive to any concerns, or questions we may have. It is a beautiful community, and they do a good job with the cleanliness. There are nice meals provided, and good activities offered for the residents. This is a community I would highly recommend, it is working out well for my family.

My parents are doing good from what I hear when we have our conversation. I have not heard any complaints yet. The community is very nice and very clean with very well trained employees. We are satisfied with community that my parents picked.

We are happy with care from this community. The staff is nice and the community is new and beautiful. I like knowing that my father is active with the other residents. I feel that this community offers great care from my father. I would recommend this community for good care and value for a loved one.

This is a brand new facility so everything is beautiful. The staff and the residents are nice and friendly. The location of the property is perfect it's on the way home so I can stop and visit my mom. I would recommend them to anyone
