Colonial Square Senior Village is really nice. The two staff members who take care of everything are very friendly. They respond quickly if I ever need any help. I have a nice apartment, 2 bedrooms, bath. It is total independent living, so I do my own cooking There is a very nice large community room for all kinds of activities and social pot luck dinners. I play cards two or three times a week with a group of residents. They have gazebos and a horseshoe pit. The residents are very friendly. I have met and made some new friends. That is why I moved here to meet people and not be alone, and here I get to meet new people and socialize. There is transportation to go to the grocery store. This community is conveniently located close to nearby restaurants and shopping, which is great because I still drive. My only concern is there is only one ramp for your electric cart to come and go. I'm thinking about getting one so maybe they will add a couple more wheelchair accessible entrances on both sides of the buildings. Other than that this is a really nice place where I live.

nothing but positive to say. Depsite the manager have a difficult time with losing loved ones she still has a smile on her face daily. Its a wonderful place to live. I'm here for the long run. [Removed]

The BEST 55 Community ever....Love this place.

My mother is really enjoying her time here at this community, It is a wonderful place. Everyone has been very helpful, and polite. The community is very well maintained. They do a great job keeping everything nice, and well-kept. The owner has been very accommodating, kind. There is a lovely community room, where the residents can go to participate in some activities. Everything has worked out very well, and I would definitely recommend this community.

The Post below could not have said it better. My gammy really loves living at The Springs but was very skeptical of leaving her home of 55 years. Shawna was very professional with the up most understanding as to what my gammy was going through. Shawna introduced her to other residents and I could see immediately she was excited about her new adventure. Shawna YOU ARE AMAZING and a true asset to The Springs. Keep up the Good work!

Shawna our leasing Agent was Awesome. She truly helped my senior Aunt make the decision that this is the place for her as she transition from a 3 bedroom home to a true independent apartment living.Thank you Shawna!! You rock!!!

I am so glad we went to The Springs at Independence and met the manager Shawna! She is absolutely wonderful and very knowledgable while helping me find a place for my dad. I moved him from another community that claimed to be independent living but was full of nothing but wheelchairs and medical staff. He hated it there and was getting very depressed. Shawna found him a perfect apartment and now he just absolutely loves it and the family can see a huge change in his happiness!! Thanks again to Shawna!!! She saved our dad!!!

It was really hard for me to leave my home of 42 years. I must say I never thought I could love an apartment as much as I love mine here at The Springs. The manager has so many things for us to do that I sometimes find it hard to fit everything into my day. I want to say thank you to the manager for making this an easy decision and getting me in as quickly as she did. Job WELL DONE.

No care services are available, which is appropriate for independent living situation. Activities and friendly residents ( and manager Shawna) are fantastic. My mother loves it there, would highly recommend it to any adult wanting an independent living situation with tons of activities in a beautiful, clean setting.

I really can't believe how great this community is. I just love all the fun stuff there is to do. The manager is absolutely wonderful and so is the maintenance. They were prompt at getting a minor issue I had addressed and very timely to. I must say there are some really nice and caring people that live here. Been here just a short while and already have friends that knock on my door to see if I want to play cards with them.

My family moved mom in this last weekend. There are people bowling and having fun. I'm very glad mom loves it too. The manager made me feel more comfortable with the decision of choosing The Springs for her and seemed to be very knowledgable. Maint also seems very friendly and helped hang a shelf for us. Mom can't stop talking about about her apartment.

I have yet to move into my apartment; but I am looking forward to it. So far, everyone has been most helpful and very friendly.

I can't really think of any negative marks against them. The cleanliness of the community is superb, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend people look into this place! Helpful, caring, fun & conscientious beyond belief & well beyond what was expected from start to finish.

This is a great place to live and I am glad that I have moved in here. The residents are great, are always there to great you when you come in.

Harrison Heights Senior Village is a very lively and friendly place. My mother-in-law has met many new friends and enjoys all the activities. She said that the one thing that has impressed her the most is how nice and welcoming everyone has been, from the manager to all of of the other folks at Harrison Heights. Even when there are not scheduled activities--and there are plenty of these--residents call each other to get together for card games and other social activities. She has a great new apartment in a secure development, with many wonderful new friends, and we could not be happier that she chose Harrison Heights.

Love the place and the Director was wonderful.

I think this community is pretty good, I'm still getting used to it but so far so good. My apartment has a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and den. The VA helps me with housekeeping. They have quite a few activities, they have a movie theater, community room, trips out a couple of times a month, and exercise programs. I would recommend this place, it's very nice.
