It is working out very well. We are more comfortable at HarborChase. They have a lot of entertainment - there's a kitchen where the residents cook and bake cookies and things like that. They do games, trivia, puzzles, and bingo, which my mother loves. It is just a fun atmosphere. The staff is wonderful, very caring and loving. She gets hugs from them all the time. My mother is a very loving person, and I feel that that love is reciprocated from the staff. It is a wonderful relationship. There are more people to look after for each caregiver, but it is more stimulating. My sister and I go everyday, and she is happy there!

She was there for 3 weeks and had to go to the hospital and now she's in a nursing home but she still has an apartment there and we're trying to get her back there. They were just exremely helpful. I can't say enough good about them!

we visited half a dozen communities. With the exception of one they were all very nice affordable places that i would have felt comfortable having my mom there. The Barrington was our second stop and after touring The Barrington all my mom could say was "I like that place the best". Even as we toured all the other places, that was moms continued sentiment, "I like that other place the best" (referring to The Barrington). She said she felt most comfortable there. That was the bar we used as we looked at the other communities, and none surpassed the raised bar the The Barrington impressed on my mom.

I have been a resident at The Barrington for several years and I am a widow. I am happy here, never lonely, very safe, with friends and a caring staff. The first time I walked into the Barrington I had a very warm feeling. The entire staff is very caring and helpful. I enjoy all the activities and social events that we have. I really enjoy the food; our chef does a great job. I feel that there is something for everyone to enjoy here at The Barrington. I have made some wonderful friends here with the residents and staff. The Barrington is a great place to live. I also enjoy our trips out to the beaches and parks. I am on the welcoming committee, serve at happy hour, and I go with the marketing team to do outreach. This is my home and the staff is my family.

Having lived at Lake Forest Park for 10 years, I am very happy and feel lucky to be here. It is a very pretty place and the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good. Living here is like belonging to a huge family; we all get along great. I don't have to cook and clean anymore, so I am getting lazy and fat! I never thought I'd live to see that! I am grateful each day! The staff is always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Dining and housekeeping staff are always cheerful, conscientious and highly, highly efficient. It is a pleasure seeing the staff smiling and keeping us happy and content. Our activities are varied, with something for everyone. We all enjoy participating in the activities.

It was an excellent experience. They only issue we had was that they could not provide care that she needed. She needed help with her insulin. They were not licensed to handle that. They were very kind people.

We like The Barrington and have had a pretty good experience. It's very clean, and the people are very nice. My mom tells me everyone is so good to her there, which makes me feel good. I do think they're a little overworked though. The director is great, but some of the other administrators are not very accessible. However when you do get a hold of them, they're very responsive and nice. My mom doesn't rave about the food like she did at a previous place, but she seems to like it overall. I would like it if they had a few more activities, especially on Sundays. She seems to need a little more attention on those days. But overall I think it's a good value.

I thought Stuart Lodge Living was great. It seemed like they really have a lot to offer. The hallways are wide, and they have designated areas to park scooters when the residents go to lunch, etc. They have a lot of places in the building for people to socialize and visit. There's a coffee shop area, and an area for kids to play. They definitely seemed more welcoming of children. The whole set-up is great. There's a room where families can come in and celebrate birthdays and things. The food was excellent. There's a big, open courtyard, and a big gathering place inside as well. Each floor has a TV room. There's a movie room, and a little chapel. Kids would come over and do artwork that they hung up in the hallways. Every time I passed by a resident, they were so happy. They truly enjoyed living there. The only drawback is they're very pricy, and they have smaller resident rooms. But you get more for your money as far as common living spaces and amenities.

Lovely and charming place. I was pleasantly surprised at how different it feels from some others. One of mom's doctors spoke very highly of Stuart Lodge, and he was right. Although mom has only been there a short while, she is very happy and we are very pleased. They've been great!

Mom and dad are happy, even through the worries of the pandemic. They feel safe and taken care of. We are updated regularly and excited to slowly get back to normal. They've all been wonderful through this.

We looked at quite a few facilities around the area, The Barrington property itself is very attractive. It is surrounded by a lot of greenery. It is a pleasant, clean, and bright facility. It looks like an apartment building rather than assisted living. The room sizes are spacious here and the value for what you get it good. My favorite part about the community overall has been the proximity. The chef here runs a restaurant and when he is there the food is great, but when is he not there the good food is not consistent. Overall, I would recommend.

This place called Stuart Lodge, well let me tell you something about this place. I looked at many assisted living facility's in the area and nothing was as clean and friendly as this place. Im not just talking about the first time I walked in and of course they want your business so they put on the charm and wide smiles, this place is like that all the time. My mom has been living in this facility for over 3 years and I cant say enough about Stuart lodge. I don't feel like I left my mom in hands of strangers, I feel like I left her with family..

We looked at a lot of different facilities both here and back home in the north. This place is definitely the friendliest and has the most "at home" feeling. They truly live up to their reputation, and are so glad our neighbor told us about Stuart Lodge!

My mom went into assisted living for the first time here 5 months ago and has been very happy with it. I have visited from out of state a few times now. The facility is clean, attractive, and pleasant. The staff are positive, upbeat, attentive, and very helpful. The food is very good both in menu choice and quality. The cost is very reasonable for the level of care. I have no prior experience with assisted living but our family is glad we chose this place, as it seems first-rate.

Stuart Lodge is such a unique place. It really looks like a lodge! You get such a warm feeling when you walk in and everyone is so nice. Its just different than all the others.

When I came across Stuart Lodge I knew this was the one for my mom. It just felt like home,warm and cozy, And the staff greeted us like they knew us for ever. I visited a number of places but they felt cold and not cheerful like stuart lodge...I recommend this place to anyone that has a family member ready for assisted living or memory care..

My grandmother was in Stuart Lodge for about 3 years,and it was the most friendliest place and the staff is on the top of their game. And not to mention how clean and tidy everything is..

Glenbrooke has been a great choice for my mom. The staff is great,my mom enjoys the food,the place is very clean and is always being updated and maintained. Best of all it’s close to my home. Also it is reasonably priced.

I'm a professional Singer and have performed for over 50 different Senior Assisted Living Homes and I would rank "The Barrington" in the top 3 best homes of the 50! The place is set on well manicured grounds and the building itself is charming and attractive...The staff is professional and really care for their members...I've performed there on 3 different occasions and love Singing for these Seniors! You can tell they're well cared for and happy! When my time comes to require assisted living, this is where I want to live! Warm feeling from the design of the building. My grandmother loves the Lodge. You can't go wrong!
