My mother and step father are residents here and are currently considering relocating. They are extremely dissatisfied with the frequent squabbles between the higher-up employees and Terry's (the manager) inability to control this, and they are unhappy that some employees are consistently late for work. They find both of these things very disrespectful especially since they pay a substantial sum to reside there. They find the food to be of mediocre quality and claim the caretakers and generally pleasant but find the squabbles and the employees' lack of work ethic to overshadow the good qualities.

My sister is unable to do for herself. The care she receives is mediocre at best. There are different caregivers so it does depend on who is on duty, but there is also a huge turnover in staff & often the staff are doing double shifts, no one is at their best when working 16 hours straight. Our family didn't choose this facility, she simply ended up there (long story). It is a long drive there to visit her, so we stay 4-6 days each visit. During our last visit no one ever came in to change her (she is incontinent) during the 7 1/2 hours we stayed each day, she was wearing the same socks 4 days in a row, the first 2 days she did not have her dentures in, when requesting them to be placed the staff on duty those days had no idea how to put them in or how to use denture adhesive. Her dinner tray with old food was still sitting there at noon the next day, guessing they did not bother to bring her any breakfast on that day. 2 days in a row she was not given her evening meds, no attempt even

This place was bought by theCanopy 2.8 months ago. It has been an unmitigated disaster. Nothing has improved , but has in fact gotten worse. The activities they advertise do not, for the most part, exist. It is not exciting or enriching to live here. Stay away! Bb

New caregivers with no experience, no RN on staff, horrible food , when hospice started coming in, caregiver is so lazy they never did anything. They expected HOSPICE to do everything. Horrible environment.

We TRIED to tour this establishment for my mother and upon entering was not welcomed by anyone, given a dirty look by an employee at the entrance who was in her office and when we asked to tour the place she yelled at us about not having an appointment. We were specifically told NOT to set up appointments by my mother's social worker. (We toured 4 other places that day and were more than welcomed by every single one!) This lady went back and forth with us, being rude and unprofessional about the situation and when we tried to leave she yelled at us for not having a code to get out. I dont know what is going on here but I would never trust this place with my loved one.

My dad should never been approved for. He has first stages off dementia and this was a traumatic experience for him and me. Then I had to fight to get the 30 day fee waived. The nurse who approved him in the first place agreed when we took him out that he would have done better on the Assisted Living side. He is in assisted living at another facility and doing good.

The management is a joke, high turnover rates in management. They never have an E.D. for more than 3 months. The get rid of people like it is nothing and then do nothing to fix any problems but lie their way out of it. Quality has gone DRAMATICALLY over the past 6 months. They are an unfair facility and I wouldn't recommend them. They can't keep employees because they treat them unfair and make them work in unfair conditions. In the summer time they make kitchen staff work in a hot kitchen with no working fan or air conditioner and wouldn't let anyone bring a personal fan so they wouldn't get overheated. Save your money and take your parents elsewhere....

My mom is a current resident and the only reason I have not moved her elsewhere is because she has made friends. The residents look out for one another as much as they can. The staff are very frustrating. Not friendly, not helpful, and they do not care about the work they do. It takes weeks of pestering for anything to get done. I feel bad for residents who do not have actively-involved family members. If you ask someone for help, they will pass you on to someone else. The head nurse either lies about what her staff do, or she is unaware that her staff do NOT do what she thinks they do. The food is NOT nutritious and they are very bad about accomodations. Plus, items from their "always available" menu are frequently unavailable. I do not believe that anyone who runs this place cares about the wellbeing of the residents.

They literally care nothing for their residents or their families, only dollar signs. They are extremely unorganized, irrational and uncaring. The staff is nice but the management is HORRIBLE. Don't let your loved one get trapped here! It will seem okay at first, but then they will drop the ball on care and hike up the fees.

Don't put loved ones at the Landing. Much of the staff is good, but they are stretched thin. They are on their third administrator in a year. The place is a mess. I moved my parents out of the Landing, it was a very bad experience.

My father was a resident at Cedar Ridge Senior Living (respite) for less than 8 weeks, until he passed away from a fall while in their care. Despite the fact that they were given a 30-day written notice that we were not keeping his room (per our contract) and despite the fact that we moved all of his things out of this room WEEKS prior to that 30 days, Cedar Ridge continues to bill me as if he is still a resident. I have called and emailed them multiple times and rarely get any response other than "we'll look into it and call you back" which they never do. I have even called the Executive Director, [name removed], several times and have not heard back from her. This is completely unacceptable. I DO NOT recommend this place! My father didn't like it and now I'm dealing with their incompetent staff. Very unhappy and I wish I had chosen a different place for my Dad.

I would rate them a big fat zero on every category! My Uncle received horrible care at this place. The staff was rude and unattentive and allowed horrible things to go on at that place. Shortly after we moved him in, they closed for months for COVID and when I finally got to see him, I was shocked at his condition. He was so thin, unkept and in horrible physical condition. I immediately got him out of this place and moved him to [community name removed].

I would give all of these rating questions negative scores, but that is not available. They are a business to make money every thing else is secondary . My mom was there 3 days and got covid and didn't go back...they charged me a total of [removed] dollars.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and very uncaring and very unsympathetic towards the patients or people that are living there at the residence. As far as any improvements, you know getting professional staff would probably help. As far as recommending, the only recommendation I would make is that people avoid the place like the plague.

I had a horrible experience with Cedar Ridge. My dad was there 4 days and was never given his insulin once!! Had to be rushed to the ER day 3! He had a blood clot in his catheter and Home Health was called 3 times, in which over a period of close to 2 hours they never showed up!!! I am in the process of calling attorneys to take my case for my dad. His faith in them forced us to look at putting him into the VA in Claremore. And he feels they took so much from him... I'm terribly upset with Cedar Ridge. Trying to get someone to return a phone call has been another story.

My loved one was there a short period of time, and passed away. We got her settled in, and after that things were shut down due to COVID-19. They requested for me to bring more clothes. I talked to the Hospice Nurse, and she was fine, and when were finally able to visit the facility smelled like urine, and it did not smell like that when we initially visited. They had not washed any of my loved ones laundry. They tried to give my loved one pills/medication while she was comatized. It was a horrible experience, and they treated my loved one horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

management team made a decision to not accept my father back after being hospitalized. Social worker at hospital was confused and surprised as he has worsening dementia, and Wyndemere suddenly decided not to accept him back, but never contacted his POA directly. Nice workers, but clearly understaffed to do a good job of caring for your Loved One.

Our loved one declined in weight quickly due to the lack of care and assistance with eating. The community overall was grossly understaffed. Due to staffing the community lacked cleanliness, and there were several times that there was a severe odor that would travel up the elevator shaft to higher floors because the staff weren't cleaning the rooms, or bathing the residents. Our loved one wouldn't get assistance with medical concerns that the family notified the community with in the beginning, and this wasn't happening. There were times that the only staff in the community were from agencies and quite a bit of turnover because of the staff not being in the community permanently. The admin team kept telling the family that things would get better, when the family would bring concerns to the director's attention. The community has since changed directors, since my loved one has moved in. The community had a comprehensive calendar of activities; however, they would have to cancel activities due to the lack of staff not to be able to assist the residents.

The care is not consistent. Day-to-day care does not happen on a regular basis. Needs are not met. Family members have to advocate for their loved ones on a daily basis. And the cost is not worth what you get. I have been very dissatisfied with our family's experience at Hawk's Ridge. There is a high rate of employee turnover. Employees are not knowledgeable about what their job is. More training is necessary, and employees need to be paid for what they're doing, which is not happening. The high cost of living goes to upper management and not toward the service and care of the people who actually live there.

My wife and I AGREED with their staff to go there. She made her plans to travel to Europe to see her ill mother. After all was settled, the facility changed its mind and refused us. Be careful - when dealing with them.
