Very caring staff and the facility is clean and comfy. I feel safe leaving my loved one in their hands. In every facility there is always room for improvement but Golden Orchards is a good option.

I was most impressed with the Sales and Marketing Director and the tour that she provided. I liked the core values of the community which she presented and the residents I encountered seemed generally engaged and social. While the accommodations were not sufficient for my in-laws, I am considering it for my Mother when everyone else is settled!

This community was our second choice. The people we met were really nice. We do know people that live here and they have nothing but nice things to say. The community is clean and I hear the care is good. This community did offer the rehabilitation we were looking for.

Everything is working out well for my parents with their move to this community. They are safe, and in good hands overall. I'am pleased with all they have done for us. A place for mom was helpful with referring this community to us. All is well for my parents here in this facility.

On this tour I took friends with me. We thought this community was immaculate. The women was informative on the tour. I smelled a clean community but they were expensive too and had to make sure we can budget the move.

Really nice and clean community. Very friendly staff. They provided answers to all of my questions. Plenty of activities provided. We would have loved to stay there, but at the time there was no room available.

After touring a few places we decided to place my dad here. It offers him the care he needs and it provides my family the knowledge that he is safe and being cared for the way he should be. Overall we like the place it seems clean and the staff is very nice and caring. The communication between myself and them is good in fact one of the staff members had mentioned that it was one of the best transitions they have experienced and that was nice given my dads mental status. The property has 2 areas the first being the assisted living side and then the memory care where my dad is. they have actives for both sides and they keep the residents busy. The location is great because it is right next to my son's school and very close to where my wife works.

It was okay to me when I had a tour of the community. It looked pretty good for another family but they were not what I was looking for.

My dad is doing great and he really, really likes the community. He likes the activities, the socializing, and just knowing there is someone there for him if he needs help. The only complaint is the meals. It's not southern enough and he would like more food options. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

This is a great place! Commonwealth is very clean and the staff is friendly. There are lots of activities that were offered, some of which my father participated in, such as family movie nights that happen once a month, bible studies and different outings. I would recommend Commonwealth!

We toured this community for care. The staff were nice and helpful to answer the questions that we had. We wanted to make sure that my parents were in the same building. They offer a nice menu and activities for participation when possible We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

I visited the assisted living area and the place was clean and folks were friendly. Several of the residents were out taking advantage of the common areas and dinning and they seemed very happy. This place has a lot to offer in activities as well. A little on the higher end of costs and only 1 medical transportation trip provided but a appeared to be a well maintained facility.

I thought the staff at this location where friendly and gave lots of great information my dad and I about there community. They where very patient with all of our questions and made sure to answer them with lots of detail. The location was just a little too far for my family and I to drive everyday to go and see my dad.

Everything is good, the place is clean, and the majority of the staff are friendly. When you walk in, there is no odor. The activities coordinator is good. However they are little under-staff in the dementia unit. I notice a lot of turnover and the new staff don't know what to expect. I think the staff should get more familiar with one unit before moving into a different area. I feel there needs to be more skilled staff with better training with a supervisor for each shift. It is odd to see the residents' medications getting passed out.

Several times I have called to speak with an administrator or to speak to someone in charge and they have not been present. I have left messages for someone to contact me but hadn't received a call back. I ended up calling myself again. I realize they have lives outside of their job but a call back would have been nice when they returned to work. Also, it is difficult to reach my loved one when I call. Often I get cut off when I call or my call rings constantly and no one picks up. I understand that workers are busy with patients but after several attempts over several hours I should have been able to get through. A variety of food appealing to the patients should be available. Older people are accustomed to garden foods and it would a welcomed meal for them to have some fresh garden dinners occasionally. (this is a request from several patients that I've heard from myself)

My tour of this community was a good one. Everyone was very friendly to my family, and myself. The staff was kind, and my questions was answered. The community looked nice, everything was clean, and looked good. It was a pretty nice experience, my tour went well.

The overall experience has been fair. I feel there is a lack of communication within the staff. It can take a few days to get a response to my email and voicemail. They have missed doctor's order and they were aware of the timeline. At night the receptionist is unaware of who is staffed for the night. Otherwise it is clean and they have good food but it is a little salty. They have a good activities program and an onsite beautician. They did her hair real nice.

The Elmcroft of Chesterfield was a very nice place. During the tour, the tour guide took me around the entire building and the place was clean. All of the staff that I came into contact with were very nice.
