Cogir Senior Living

Our loved one is very happy at the Cogir at The Narrows Tacoma Assisted Living community. There are doing a lot of different activities to keep them active and engaged and she loves the meals that are prepared. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Overall we are happy with my aunt being placed here! Good place for reasonable price. Rooms are nice. And it is a nice place for friends and family to visit! We picked this community because, of the location, affordability and more independent living!!

My loved one is a resident at Holiday Emerald Pond. I love everything about the facility, although I wish the personal Aides weren't an extra cost and that the food was better. Most of the food that is served is tough and they serve a lot of pork, which can't be good for any older person's diet. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The value for the cost is pretty good.

The staff are ALL friendly at Cadence at Garner. They take out my loved one's trash 1-2 times daily and deep clean one time a week. They have a system to communicate with us about special events. They communicate well with changes in medication. My loved one fell one morning recently and the nurse technician called us immediately at 5:53 AM to inform us and to let us know that she was okay. They have a good variety of meals and at breakfast my loved one has finally started to ask for eggs if they are not on the menu. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Moving to Holiday Lake Shore Commons has been a good thing and an overall positive experience for my mom. She is actually happy there! She is getting involved with some of the activities and is getting to know some of the people. We like the fact that even though she lives in her own little room, she is never far from other people and help, if she needs it. I think she is actually thriving there!

My parents and I went to the opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Cogir. We went into a beautiful brand new facility and were fed some amazing barbecue and desserts. The tour was led by [name removed]. She was friendly, caring, attentive, and made us feel comfortable in what could end up being home for my parents some day.

A relative of mine has been living at Park Terrace Senior Living in Phoenix, AZ for going on 2 months now. It is a very clean, pretty, quiet, and safe environment. They have people standing by to help with anything and everything a resident or a family member may need. It is the perfect environment for independent seniors as well as those requiring some level of aid and attendance. The main building is currently being renovated and I look forward to seeing the outcome because the space was already gorgeous beforehand. They just wanted to update things a bit while also making all the flooring the same level. Park Terrace does a fantastic job of maintaining the grounds and their onsite contractor for aid and attendance (run by [name removed]) is excellent. The entire management team at Park Terrace is very caring and attentive to the needs of residents.

Everyone at Cogir of Brentwood has been very friendly and helpful. The community smells clean and looks clean. The staff has been wonderful and the staff checks in regularly and makes sure my mom is doing okay. When it comes to the meals, they are delicious but I do wish they were cheaper for family members to eat there. There are a lot of fun activities throughout the day for the residents and the cost is comparable with other places in the area. I highly recommend Cogir of Brentwood for senior living.

We picked this community, because of the staff, cleanliness, and attention to what our mom's need would be. Great room designs. Friendly and caring staff. Food has been amazing. Very happy and content Mom! I would recommend Oak Park and A Place for Mom. Our family really did appreciate the help recommending places for us to see. Thank you

The staff is very friendly and the nurse is wonderful at The Windham. The facility is older than many of the other options in the area, but it absolutely makes up for it in charm. They also make sure to keep the residents involved in the governance of the facility, which is great as it gives many of the residents a sense of purpose. My grandparents enjoy living there and are always looking forward to happy hour there. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured Sunrise of Old Town Alexandria during my search for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one. This facility was great. The atmosphere, tour guide, and cleanliness were also great!

Cadence at Huntersville is very expensive compared to some others we looked into, however I'm not sure how the price compares to most places in the area. I think it's a nice place with great staff.

Things are going very well for my loved one and family. This is a great place for independent living. My loved one has made friends here. I would highly recommend the community to others. There are three meals a day served and snacks available as well. There are a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in, and my loved one is enjoying their time here.

When it comes to the cleanliness....the building is older so needs a bit of repair here and there. However the room we have is very nice. Also they are in the process of remodeling the whole place as it's being bought out by another company.. I don't know about the quality of care. My brother is independent. However someone is always available for phone answering. There are a number of employees available for care. I saw activities going on and sheets about available activities.

My loved one is a resident at Cogir of Kent and everything has been great for him at this facility. It's a beautiful place visually that is tastefully decorated with a variety of artwork. The food is excellent and there is plenty of variety. They offer lots of activities. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

I currently live here at Cogir at the Narrows located off of 6th Avenue in Tacoma. Living in the Assisted Living Community. I am very comfortable living here. My over all rating of Cogir at the narrows would be Excellent

It is a beautiful place to live and the staff is very caring. Always polite and caring, always polite and very hardworking. I feel they should add to their team that way they can take more frequent and longer vacations to keep their energy levels up!

The benefits to me for living at COGIR at the Narrows are: No cooking, Great Meals, Friendly People, Quiet Environment, Lots of activities, House cleaners, Beautiful landscaping, Nice apartments, Great staff

I currently live at Cogir at the Narrows and I think that it is overall great. I can always find something good on the menu at the restaurant, staff is friendly, and I enjoy the activities. I have no desire to live anywhere else.
