We toured this community for care. We did not like the layout of the community. The other residents were not active and we wanted a community where the staff was involved with the residents more than what we saw on the tour. The staff were nice and were able to answer the questions we had. I would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a family member for care

White Pine Senior Living was nice but the building was too small for my mother. We felt she would do better in a larger community. I would recommend them to families for care on a smaller scale.

Things are going as well as expected. My mother-in-law is well cared for here and part of the memory care section of the community.I had one incident where she got sick. There was an issue with communication.We did not know there was an on call nurse and took her to an emergency room. I think it was a training issue and they should tell residents and families they do have an on call nurse.

We looked at a lot of facility's for my father. This was one of the few community's that accepted him with his higher level care. He is doing very well, and we are very satisfied with his move this community. He loves it here, and we have recently moved his wife in there with him. Everything is working out well. He is safe, and receiving great care at this facility. A place for mom was great for sending us this referral. This is a community I would highly recommend, it has worked out very well for us.

Very clean actually spotless - friendly staff, cheery atmosphere - lots of activities.

I toured the place twice and my sister and brother in law once. We all really like it. They spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. We are planning to move Mom March 1st.

We like this community for my mother in law. We have found the staff to be caring and friendly. The community is very clean and taken care of. She is pleased with the meals and variety. They do offer her a lot of great activities, but she is happy doing her knitting. We would recommend this community for great care for a loved one.

I am very happy with the care that my mother in law has been receiving here. The staff here are wonderful and are always willing to work on her needs. They are loving and patient. She seems to be pleaed with the meals that are served. They have offered her many great activities. The community is clean and enjoyable to live here. I would highly recommend the excellent care that is received here to other families.

I am happy for the care that my husband is getting here. The community is clean and well taken care. The food is outstanding and he is very happy with the variety. He likes the activities walking and bingo. The staff are so caring and friendly. I liked that he is able to go outside alone, he likes being able to read outdoors. It is a open environment . The size of his room is great for him. The staff is considerate and always listen to my needs for my husband. I highly recommend this community for outstanding care and value.

My husband enjoyed parts of his experience but he is not ready for a long term stay but I would certainly be willing to do respite care again. Thank you

This is a great community. I am happy with the staff who are very caring. My father is happy with the food that they offer. They do have activities for him to participate in. I would highly recommend this community for excellent care.

Mom seems to be much happier at Comforts of Home than she was at her previous community. She can be a picky eater, however she does look forward to meal times. They keep the community clean. The staff are really good and they are there to answer our questions. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

This community has been a fantastic place for my wifes care. I had her in a [Removed] which was a horrible experience for us. Here at White Pine she is being taken care of the way I would take care of her at home. Plus the cost is all inclusive where a [Removed] was all about the money. I can not say enough about how she is cared for. I can sleep at night again & not worry about her. The Nurse here is over the top on how she takes care of the residence.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility and also about the people running it. I talked with Heather on the phone and my brother then toured the facility. We moved mom in and from the very beginning we all knew that she was exactly where she needs to be. She loves her apartment and the people and the staff. It's a small enough facility that you will get to know everyone and they have lots of activities and things to become involved with. I would highly recommend Comforts of Home!

My mother is doing very well at this community and they are caring for her very well. The community is very nice looking and everything is nice and clean. The staff is great, they are very helpful and kind. She likes the food and seems to have adjusted well to the community. The assisted manger was very helpful, and they have doctors that come and see her. It has been nice experience and I would recommend it.

Our family found White Pine II (WPII) to be the most beautiful memory care facility we had ever seen. The pond view through large windows, huge fireplace, maple woodwork, attractive seating areas throughout, and, especially, shared rooms designed with privacy in mind were impressive. But how a facility looks isn't the most important aspect of memory care. Upon further research and meetings with staff, we found that the quality of care seemed to be excellent. Now that our loved one has lived at WPII for over a month, we are very happy with the friendly staff and the care he is receiving. More than that, we have noticed our loved one's health and state of mind have improved greatly from when he was at home. I am so grateful we found such a "happy ending" to a very sad and painful set of circumstances. Our loved one deserves the best and we feel he is in good hands at WPII.

When our family member unexpectedly needed significant long-term care, we looked at several different places. White Pines came out as the front-runner because of the obvious friendliness and care observed towards residents while we toured. They also run on an all-inclusive, reasonable price versus the itemized pricing we found at other places. Since we have moved our family member in, we have not been disappointed. Everyone made an immediate effort to get to know all of us. We are greeted by name every time we visit. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the staff all sit down and eat with the residents during meal-time, giving it the feeling of a more family-centered residence. The rooms are smaller and more basic than some other places, but I will take that in exchange for good care. The main room has a beautiful aquarium and fireplace. Fortunately, our family member will be going back home soon, but if we ever find ourselves in this situation again, we will definitely return.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Gracewood of Highland Park, it's a very nice place! The people here are friendly and professional, and they've really been a big help throughout the whole process. I really like that they encourage my loved one to participate in the activities, it's nice to see her getting out of her apartment so often! It's just a really friendly place, and it's been a great fit for my loved ones so far!
