Ciel Senior Living

We are very happy with the care this community gives to my dad. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I have no complaints about them. My dad has been doing physical therapy through the facility. My dad must like the food because he has not complainede yet.

I selected VAL because of its location (10 minutes from home) the amazing welcome we received from staff AND the residents, the variety of activities, their ability to shuttle her to her doctor appointments so she can keep her primary care doctor, their experience with dementia sufferers, the amazing 1/2 price for the first 4 months (!) Incentive, and most importantly the fact that mom reacted positively. She has liked it so far! I am concerned that for such a large facility, there is only one nurse on premises over the weekends. Also, mom gets turned around trying to find her way which is easy for me to do given the layout. Not easy to navigate when your older. But it is clean and welcoming so all in all a good pick for the first (and hopefully the last) such decision.

My parents are doing great here at this facility. They are caring for them very well. It is very nice looking community, they do a good job with keeping everything nice and clean. The staff is great. They like the food. They offer many activities. So far everything is working out well.

This is a nice community and my tour went very well. Everybody was very nice and friendly. The staff was nice and very informative. The facility looked fine and well-kept. They have many activities, but for my mother at the stage of life she is in, she wouldn't be able to participate. It is a good place with very kind and welcoming people.

Very clean. Everyone is very respectful of the residents needs. The food is always great. deserts are delicious.

I had looked at other places, but did not feel comfortable at any of the other places. But, when I walked into Meridian, it felt like home. I'm really satisfied living here. You won't get bored here. Always something to do. Food is great. Staff is great. If you have any concerns they will always help you.

The facility is beautiful, very nice, and the people are wonderful. Lisa is an angel. The one thing I've been having trouble with is the billing, and I have had a little trouble with people getting back to me to get it resolved.

Our experience with Five Star has been a good one, so far! The facility itself is always well kept and clean, the common areas look nice and they do a weekly cleaning of my loved one's apartment. The staff here is friendly and professional. They respond to situations very quickly, and they've always gotten right on top of any issues we've brought up with them.

The Village at Lowry is a good place to stay at for my loved one and I think that they do the best that they can and they are really trying, it is just that they are dealing with a lot of older people there.

My family members toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I have heard good things from my family members, and when the time comes for a move this is one we are considering.

At Five Star Premier at Yonkers one of the strong points of the assisted living is their care. They have a lot of staff there. It is really good for someone that needs assistance. My mother-in-law has vision impairment and gets really wonderful care. It is a generally good place. The location is very convenient. The amenities downstairs aren't as good as some of the other facilities. The activities also aren't as good as some of the other facilities we have seen either. They do have a winter garden that the residents can use. She likes the food there. They have a social worker that is good and very engaged. That has been crucial to her adjusting. The management has really helped in working with her needs also. Overall things have really worked out here.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

In comparison to the other places we looked, this place was much nicer. They have more activities and the people that live there look like they are engaged, which was appealing. They were lacking in following through with what they said they were going to do though. If you bugged them enough, they got it done, but I just expected something quicker.

Most of the staff is delightfully energetic. Rudy from maintenance is very nice and helpful always. Josh at front desk also enjoyable. Nice and professional as are Judy and Cindy. The studio is small but comfortable and clean. Activities could be more diverse but are ok.

They have been pretty good. The place is pretty clean and nice. The staff is pretty friendly. The foods okay. I would give them a four out of five, from my experience so far.

So far we like it. It's a nice place, it's clean and the staff is friendly. The food is okay. I don't really have any major concerns or complaints or anything. I think, just like with any of the places, they could use some more aides.

It is a vibrant community with many options available for residents to stay active and engaged in life. My overall rating of this property is 4 stars because it has been very good. It has a nice and friendly atmosphere. They have a lot of different activities to keep the residents busy. I can't rate the care services because it is not applicable. Overall, this is a very nice community and I would recommend it.

The place is kind of hilly and it’s hard to push a wheel chair, but my dad likes it a lot. The place is clean and the staff keeps an eye on him. I would recommend it to others. I feel at ease knowing that my dad is taken care of and I know that he likes it here.

the over all property is a 4 star property it is very very nice the staff is great the facility is clean inside and outside i gave the cleanliness a rating of a 4 i gave the friendliness a rating of a 5 they are very friendly there and its value to me is a 4 star rating
