I would highly recommend Hearth & Home! My in-laws both lived there and my mother lived there after breaking her hip and they all received excellent care. Mom needed a bit of extra attention due to her dementia and the staff as well as the Director were attentive to her needs. The facility is clean and bright and there is always something for the residents to do. Yes, they are sometimes short on staff like most other places right now however I saw NO evidence of neglect - my mother was well cared for. There are daily activities, monthly entertainment and other events to keep the residents engaged. I was always kept informed of my moms' health issues and, most important, I was able to visit as often as I wanted (after the initial COVID wave subsided). I encourage you to check them out!

So far they’ve been the best of the places we've toured / used for a respite stay. And my loved one is on his second stay with them. The most significant difference is they have a nurse in an administrative position who can help supervise things. She understands things much better than a salesperson. And her personality is great. She’s very patient-focused.

Our tour at Hearth & Home at Vandalia was great. I really liked the gal that showed us around. The facility was a little larger than what I was wanting for my loved one. She has a tendency to roam around, and I was afraid she would get lost. Also, they don’t accept Medicaid, which we might need to utilize down the road.

The staff is more personal with the residents and tey to build a relationship with them. There is very low turnover so my loved one knows the staff and is comfortable with them. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

They have just been wonderful with everything and so accommodating and easy to work with. The pricing here in all inclusive which I like so I know what to pay each month. They nurses and doctors here and they report constantly with me and are very good with communication. The administrative staff is wonderful, she lets me text her any time and any day. If mom is having a good day she will text me pictures of her doing activities and we also get a pamphlet every month with pictures as well, they are always keeping the residents very busy. They go out of their way and I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

Hearth & Home was an outstanding experience, but it was expensive and strictly memory care. The administrator was super, the cleanliness of the community was outstanding. It was exceptionally outstanding when it came to the care services they provided. They fed her well and took care of her well. One of the nurses there was an older gentlemen and he was just super. We have nothing bad to say about Hearth & Home.

Hearth & Home was just fantastic while our loved one was there. Most of his experience was during covid and they were pretty restricted, but before covid they had all kinds of family functions. Families could be brought in and participate in different activities, it was just a really nice experience for us as well as him to enjoy.

The staff members at The Wyngate are very friendly, and our loved ones say the food is very good. Our loved ones live on the independent living side in a two bedroom cottage, and when it comes to the value we think that is good as well.

The friendliness of the staff is amazing and they genuinely care about my loved one. I would recommend this community to others.

During the short time our loved one was there, they were just fantastic and they really did do a good job taking care of her. It also looked like they offered a good amount of activities for the residents.

The staff are very sincere about taking care of the residents. They take the time to go to know each resident personally by name and things about them which shows me that they really care. The staff are in touch with me regularly and are easy for me to get a hold of when I call. We chose this community because of its close proximity to relatives. Also, when we toured it and other places, this community was the cleanest and had the best overall environment.

From the moment that I walked through the doors at The Madison Senior Living Community up to today, has honestly been the BEST experience for me and my parents! I had been "shopping" for an independent living situation for my parents for about a year and as soon as I stepped foot into The Madison, I knew this was "home" for them. Having to move my parents from a different state where they have lived their entire 56 years of marriage, [name removed] has been exceptional in meeting all of our needs throughout this process. They were even allowed to spend the weekend in the model cottage to get a feel for the place before we committed to them! Greystone has been a blessing to me and my family. the staff is very caring. Very clean and no smells. I couldn't be happier.

I found the staff at Madison house to be truly wonderful people. They are extremely helpful and willing to do anything they can to make you comfortable here. Despite my mother having some misgivings about going into a senior community, she was surprised by how nice the facility was and what would be available to her. When things got difficult for my mother, they took all the necessary steps to make sure she was cared for.

Greystone is the place to move your loved one. They go above and beyond often. My loved one has been there going on two years and we would not have her anywhere else.

My mom has lived here for about 3 months now. From the moment we called in tell the moment she arrived Greystone was great. No matter what her needs are, they get taken care of. Staff has been great to work with and really put mine and my families worries at ease.

I love this place, beautiful! Not only beautiful but I love the way it is set up. Lots of activities. Kitchen set up for residents to get snacks anytime of the day. It’s the little things that are special. I loved interacting with the residence there. If you want to know if someone loves a place like this just ask them they will tell you !
