I feel safe here and that is a big and important part for me. It is really fun having my cat live with me.

I feel safe and secure so completely here. I love the staff.

It is very cheerful here and well lit. Maintenance is first class and does great. I don’t feel crowded. It is open concept and have plenty of room. Housekeeping is very nice and laundry as well.

I'am satisfied with my mother move to this community. She is doing well, and so far everything is working out well. They have a good staff, and I know she is in good hands. They are friendly, and have been helpful whenever needed. It is a bit pricey, but overall it is a community I would recommend to my family, and friends.

Based only on a tour, I was impressed by Prairie Meadows due to its focus entirely on Alzheimers. Where many other facilities have assisted living with a memory care wing, Prairie Meadows is all designated to Alzheimers with facilities dedicated to different levels in the progression of the disease. They also seemed very warm and caring.

Enjoyed my tour at Lynd Place, found it to be a very welcoming home away from home. Residence all appear to be happy and the food looked delicious, although I did not eat there. . When the time comes , that my Uncle would need permanent care , this would be satisfactory. Currently I am looking for a place that I can use a day at a time. .

We are so very pleased with the memory care here, there are always two staff members on duty and we feel that our Aunt is safe and secure and she is thriving here. She has a semi-private room and she and her roommate have become buddies. There is a nice private dining area and they keep everything nice and clean. I would definitely recommend a tour of this community.

Dad is doing ok at this community. The staff are nice and they interact with him. He is not impressed with the food. The community is neat and tidy and the grounds are well taken care of. This community's memory care only so the activities are geared towards residents with Alzheimer's. I would recommend this community for someone that has memory issues.

This is where I want my parents to make their new home, I'd like to live here

We liked them so much that we had to bring my mom in and she said the minute she walked in she knew this was the place for her. My mom is having great time and it is very much her home. It is close to us so we are able to see her more often and she is able to come to family events. She loves all the meals. Everyone from the staff to residents are friendly and so nice.

What came down to our final choice is the pricing. While they were not the best fit for his lifestyle they were still a nice community. Everybody was respectful, courteous, understood ours needs n they were seeing if he was fit too.

I am so pleased this community was recommended to us I was running out of hope we would find something. Surprisingly my dad loves it here and no longer is saying he wants to go home. The residents there are very friendly and easy to get along with so it has taken him no time to make friends that he has things in common with. The staff is also friendly and encouraging. The community offers quite a few activities for the residents and social events. The housekeeping and laundry services are good. Dad goes to the onsite barber. He is just receiving such good care I can't ask for anymore I am that amazed

The staff is truly phenomenal. Every single person we met what incredibly friendly and welcoming, knew all the residents by name and quickly learned all the names of our family members, as well. So gracious and caring. They really went out of their way to make my grandmother feel welcome and valued. The facility is so clean and bright. After moving in, Grandma commented "I never had it so good!"

The tour went very well and it was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and the residents looked very happy. It was very informative and I was very impressed! Follow up after the tour has been great too. Answered my questions and then some.

Absolutely phenomenal community. The staff are the best if the best and you can tell right from the moment you walk in the door that they are there for you and your loved one! I wouldn't look any other direction if you're in the search of an amazing assisted living.

Cedarhurst of St. Charles has been very good in helping me with my husband during his transition there. I come to visit him every day so when I am leaving I have to remind him that he can't come home with me. The Memory unit where my husband is is very nice, it is secured and I feel he is safe there. They have a large sitting room where the residents can go to watch TV or sit and talk with visiting family and it has lots of room to walk around in. There are a lot of activities and they are trying to add even more so that all the residents will have something they like to do. The dining room is nice and if I want to join my husband during a meal I do pay a little extra and the food is pretty good too. My husband is not socializing with the other residents and I was told that that was to be expected. I have now signed my husband up to be seen by the in-house doctor once a month and they will be doing a wellness check and monitoring his med as well. They also offer field trips and we have been to The Chocolate factory, and even on a picnic at the park. I would definitely recommend Cedarhurst of St. Charles to my friends and family. name.

Maple Wood Alzheimer's Special Care is a great fit for my father, he was not too happy having to make the move there but the staff has been working with him in his transition. I would give the staff a 5+ rating as they are so caring, friendly and they enjoy having my father there. They address him by his first name and he is learning all of their names as well. They keep me well informed both in person and by phone. My dad is in a private room and they keep it very clean. In the dining room, they make sure there is an equal mix of both men and women at the tables so they can socialize. There is also a separate dining room for the residents that have advanced dementia and need help eating. The activities that they offer a just great. There is music they have guests who come in to read books to the residents, there are exercise classes, arts & crafts, puzzles. And they have an 18 seater bus that takes the residents out every 2 weeks on field trips for picnics in the parks, to the zoo and other places. They also have 24-hour nursing and a doctor who comes once a month for wellness checks and to monitors the resident's meds. I am so grateful for the help A Place for Mom was able to give me in placing my dad here at Maple Wood Alzheimer's Special Care as I had no clue where to even start searching for a place for him.

I can not say enough about how wonderful High Plains Alzheimer's Special Care Center has been for my brother. In Nebraska, Alzheimer's patient's can not be restrained even if they are sitting in a chair so my brother has fallen several times because he refuses to stay seated. He has even figured out how to disarm the warning signal on his chair and bed so the nurses and the staff have been amazing in watching him because of this. They laught and tells us it is a good thing he's so cute and we love having him here. They make sure there are lots of activies for the residents, in fact, we had a sing-along and they had song books with large words and my brother sang all 20 songs. We're having an ice cream social today. The staff keeps me very well informed and they do have several young men on every shift which is great because my brother perfers a male attendant and when he falls they are better at helping him up. [Removed] loves his PT therapist and does whatever he tells him to do and even the nurse remind my brother "well your therapist said" you have to do this or that and he follows every instruction they give him then. I would recommend High Alzheimer's to everyone in fact I just learned one of my friends is now there and was able to visit with him as well.

Great place. My brothers and I think it is perfect for our dad. Tesson Heights offered respite care which is perfect to ease dad into the thought of independent living. It was clean and the residents seemed happy and social.
