My brother recently moved into St. Mary’s Villa PCU. The move was easy and everyone was friendly and helpful. He is adjusting, but so far everyone has made him feel welcome. Well done! I am hoping to see more activities for the residents.

Staff is sometimes overworked, but most of them really do care for the residents. I do recommend to others depending on the level of care needed. Acute care, memory care and independent living are all good, but we were not impressed with the overall general nursing care unit.

What we like the most about the community is that the cost is reasonable compared to others. The food is pretty good and we also like the cleanliness. Yes, we would recommend St. Mary Villa to other families based on the experience so far.

Activities - but I don't know about all of them, so this is hard for me to answer. They could improve on the scent on the 1st floor of the independent living area (smells like cat urine...pets are allowed, so I suspect it is coming from one of the apartments on that floor). The food is decent, but maybe add some pizazz. They keep good track of my mom and I have been with her when they call to check in and ask how she is doing. I believe that is a daily call they make, but it is comforting to know they check in regularly with each resident. It really is a good value for the money.

Sometimes, it is hard to connect with people to check up on my father and make sure he is receiving the service he requires. Room sizes and meals and dining are fine.

It's a good value, no frills but pretty clean. I like the staff in the back. The get to know the residents & meet them at their level. Nurse [name removed] and [name removed] are such lovely people & truly care. I appreciate them caring for my loved one. This nursing administrators is not very friendly, the last few were great. But only lasted a few months at most.

my wife's been fed puréed food for the past year that she's been there. with the advanced dementia at this time my wife doesn't have the mental ability to communicate coherently, or physical ability to do much of anything other than just eating puréed food, sleep and walking very slowly. She can't do anything for herself. Since they're only charging me $ [removed] per month, I feel they're providing adequate service for that cost.

Not enough communication and understaffed. Great price, nice room, friendly residents. Beautiful church and services provided. The building needs maintenance, short-staffed, but easy to make friends there.

There are a multitude of activities for residents to choose to do each day, including weekends. The staff can sometimes be difficult to find and communicate with on the weekends. Sometimes it can be difficult to determine which staff member needs to be communicated with in order to achieve your goal. Staff is very attuned to the interests and needs of the residents. The staff help the residents keep regular schedules.

My mom has been there for a year now in memory care. It's not bright and shiny new like [community removed], but it's more welcoming and less sterile feeling. More like a home with each having their own room plus common areas. Four short halls in a square with an open garden area in the center let those who wander do so safely. Staff had some changes last year but new staff settled in well. As with all facilities, it helps to visit regularly, and I am there every week or two

This is a very caring place. They provide excellent care for their residents. The decor is dated but everything is clean and always tidy. It is really a very pleasant facility. The staff is well trained.

My mother is very happy at St Martha’s and has made some new friends. She enjoys doing some of the activities as well. The food is her only complaint, but she loves being served and not having to cook for herself, so overall, she is very content.

Overall, my Mom is having a good experience and has made a few friends. Food is ok but they are promising upgrades in that area. Staff is friendly and seems to care a lot about the residents. Facility is pretty good, but a little outdated.

Pros - I really like the nursing supervisor. Cons- They have lost my loved one's clothes several times. Also, I am never able to get ahold of staff via phone - even in an emergency.

Pros: [name removed], Admissions) is very helpful and easy to reach. Cons: other areas (Nurses Sta, Front Desk) are sometimes very difficult to contact. My parent loves happy hour and other activities, but isn't crazy about the food.

Mom has been there for 3 months and I have seen positive results with her physical ability. She is walking with only a cane now ?? Having your own bathroom and a back patio is a plus Staff are very responsive.

What we like the most about St. Martha Villa is the staff. The yare attentive and know everyone's name, even on the independent living side. St. Martha's was just the right place for my mom at that point in her life.

We only utilized their memory care unit. I felt the staff and hands on care were very good. My husband passed away in early January. Had he not, we were going to move him to a strictly memory care facility. I don't believe Martha's is staffed or prepared to care for a combative patients, which unfortunately he was.

I like the members of the staff that take care of [name removed]. That includes the nurses , aids , the individual how clean her room and the those how help her in dining room . All of them are kind and patient with her .

My loved one is a resident at St. Mary Villa and our experience here has been very good. The staff at this facility is very polite and pleasant and they go over and beyond to make a new resident feel welcome and at home! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
