I had a helpful and knowledgeable tour and meet with their chef because of my mom's special diet. The person who showed me around was very kind but I found that I wanted a full memory care community.

Chesterly saved my mom life. I am so grateful for everything they have done for her. My mom did not want to go into assistant living but after a problem with hers meds then she was not eating it because a medical issue. When I moved her in she had not eaten anything solid in 4 days. She was more like a mental patient. The evening we moved her in she ate dinner and loved the food. She has never missed a meal. She keeps telling me how great the food is. She loves the activities especially the exercise class every morning In less than a week my mom is smiling laughing and talking with other people. Yesterday she told me I love it here! Thank you for bring me here. I should have come a year ago. What a change in less than a week.

My parents are doing very well here at this community. They are taking good care of them. The community is one level, and everything looks great. They do a good job with the cleanliness. The staff is great, they have been helpful and attentive. There are nice activities offered. My mother is very pleased with the meals. I know they are safe and in good hands. Overall this is a community I would recommend.

We moved our mother into Heatherwood and are very satisfied with everything so far. The staff is outstanding. Lisa, the manager, is exceptional and it was a pleasure working with her. The move-in went very smooth and all our questions were answered almost before we asked. All of the residents we spoke with were very happy with Heatherwood.

They helped me get her medications straightened out. They just can't help me enough with whatever I need done. Whatever I want or she needs, it has been perfect. As far as activities, I just don't know what they do, because I am not there enough.

We have had a very good experience there no complaints, due to resident passing away didn't spend any time in facility.

My mother has lived at Heatherwood for a few years. I am always so impressed with the quality of people working there, the excellent food in the dining room, the number and variety of events in and outside of Heatherwood they are involved in. My mother's toilet overflowed and flooded the room. Their immediate and thorough action was very encouraging. I have nothing but good things to say about Heatherwood.

I like the staff. Lisa and Rod are awesome and have gone out of their way to help with the transition. The apartment has a lot of storage and a fireplace, which makes it more appealing than many of the other places where we looked. The food is excellent and plentiful. Since it is independent living, we are not using any care services. The price is a little high, but workable. The location is perfect for us. The folks have only been in for a week or so, and it may take a little while for them to adjust. All in all, we're very happy with our decision and think they will be happy there.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community appears to be an excellent place to go. The only concern I have is that the care is top of line. It would be nice for the staff to be more proactive and interactive with the families to keep us updated on our loved one's care.

The price is more expensive than most, but they do offer a lot in the community. Communication was good between the staff and our family, and they were responsive and accommodating to us. I would recommend this community to others.

The food here is excellent, it is good quality and the chef does an awesome job running the kitchen. They provide a lot of activities and have a big variety to get more people involved and it always a change of pace. If you participate, you Heatherwood bucks and at the end of the month you can get things from the store she has and you can spend your Heatherwood bucks on. They have a nice walking trail that is about 1.2 miles and I enjoy getting out there and walking or spending time in the courtyard. I would recommend it to anybody looking for independent living.

My mother is doing very well at the Fieldstone Yakima. She is still adjusting to the changes, but they treat her very well and keep her safe. I am happy with the care she is receiving there.

great personal- great food- great place to be

The staff is great and they really helped us make the transition a smooth one. We never thought we would have to move her here, but it is a nice place. The other residents are very nice and the food here is good too.

1. Ambassador needs not ask the resident to take a tour on first day of moving in! He asked 3 times, resident was exhausted and had to say no each time, not cool. Maybe set some policies/expectations for them to be patient in their approach, especially on move in day. 2. Great first and second lunch tour with [name removed]! She answered all our concerns/questions and was very thorough and professional. 3. Food comments: Mac n cheese and casseroles don't make a good meal. Larger portions of meat/protein and fresh veggies would be nice. Love the beef roast n potatoes and chicken meals and meatballs! Ice cream options would be great to add as a dessert option! Love that I can get 2 milks! 4. Hesitate to eat by myself in dining hall. Would be nice if volunteers could be selected to offer to dine with the new residents or label a " new resident tables" so others can dine with and help awkward alone dining. 5. More outside benches to stage in shade for dog owners would be helpful. 6. Outdoor covered area with seating near grass for seasonal rains/snows/sun exposure. 7. Not a smoker but smokers could use a covered area besides the bus parking cover with adequate seating and proper cigarette sand trays. In addition, I have one more thought. Maybe once a month at least they could stream a good newer movie release. They seem to just have the older DVD movies playing and this 'newer movie' might get more residents involved together. I notice there is not many who attend when I invited my sister to watch 'Great Gastsby' and we left after an hour and it still had 2hrs left. Also if they could announce the movie playing as it is tough for some to walk to theatre for movie information.

The facility itself was acceptable and the staff was informative. After touring the facility I felt it would be fine for most potential residents, but because of the unmonitored staircase and my husband's sleepwalking/dementia I didn't feel the facility would meet the safety needs required for him.

The only problem was the year and a half wait to get in. The staff are friendly and considerate and the other residents are friendly. I would recommend this to others.

I enjoyed [Name Removed} very much. She’s very knowledgeable. I really liked the facility. It seemed clean and the residents seemed happy. I chose to purchase a home now and will definitely recommend you to anyone that is looking for senior living

Great place for mom to be independent and be able to gain new friends. The staff was very supportive and helpful very friendly. We were invited for dinner two nights in a row. Although the rent is doable my concern is the 5-6% yearly rent increase. We’re excited to my mom into her new home.
