Our family took 3 years to convince our dad that assisted living was the way of life he required, but since he's been living there, he is happier, healthier, more sociable, and loves getting up in the morning. We were confused with all the services available, at first, but the staff (Especially [names removed]) took the time to explain in detail what was at our disposal. We hope to be a part of this big family for a long time.

Very impressed with the facility

We moved my dad to Village on The Park almost 3 years ago to a cottage. He has loved the freedom to continue enjoying life without the hassle of "homeowner's upkeep." As his health has taken a downward turn he is now living in our Assisted Living Neighborhood. I am actually a Director of Life Enrichment at Village on The Park and thus have "hands on" in his daily care. I would not trust his well being to any other community and highly recommend Village on The Park to anyone looking for a place for their loved one to live. The staff truly cares about each individual in their care.

We loved this community and went several times to visit. [Name removed] was helpful and kind, but ultimately we were turned down.

This is the one. They will trigger residents to go to activities. They have online systems to communicate to family. They have a catholic service every Tuesday. They let residents have a say in the food. They keep a picture of the resident with their food preference in the kitchen. The apartments are nice and spacious with two windows. The shower is walk in with no barrier. The bathroom floor is non slip.

Very pleased and happy to be here, absolutely love living here.

My husband and I lived at Carriage Inn for three years and left and moved to Angelton to take care of our grandchildren. My husband passed away in 2014 and I moved back to Carriage Inn. I love Carriage Inn, the employees, and the residents. I recommend it to everyone that asks me!

This community is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful; residents laughing, eating ice cream and playing games. Residents and staff are a family! Thank you, Carriage Inn, for a lovely tour, and the ice cream sundae! I don't fear growing older anymore, save me a room.

I have lived here a little over a month and fine. The staff very friendly and attentive to every need. The entire community is kept very clean and neat. The food is great and activities wonderful.

The Village on the Park is a beautiful place and the ladies provided me with all the information we needed. The programs available and the living arrangements are wonderful!

Everything is the best over there!! I love all of the people and all of the staff over there. I love performing my saxophone and Violin over there and the guests really enjoy it! I would love to come back there again and perform soon for my grandparents [Name removed] (Grandma) [name removed], ([name removed])(Grandpa). My grandpa is progressing forward and thank you to the staff and therapists of doing a great job helping and taking care of my grandpa! As my grandma like to say, "Look at him go"

This is a wonderful place. Everyone is so friendly and they offer so much. They have great meals and a lot going on.

I moved my Dad from Dallas, Texas to VOP. The administration and staff have all been great. The room and amenities are all that he needs to be in a safe, caring and comfortable place. They are great to the Veterans that live there. I highly recommend VOP. The food is good and is served throughout the day which is nice. You do not have to wait for a designated time or miss out because of doctor's appointment. The facility is kept clean and there is almost always musical entertainment or other fun activity to participate in. All of the residents are happy and most have been there for several years.

I am very pleased with our choice to move my Mother into this community. I could not be more pleased with EVERYTHING at Stoney Brook of Copperas Cove. The care that they give my Mom is fantastic. And it is not from one person but from every member of their staff. They not only care for Mom but they love to do things for her. I really enjoy visiting her because everyone is so friendly and helpful. My Mom is 103 years old now and she needs assistance doing many things. She never wants for help to do them. Stoney Brook is great!

Getting aging parents to "make the move" is often difficult and challenging, and ours were no exception. We'd been talking with them about it for over two years; mom was keen to do it, dad was determined to stay put. Still we continued to look for options in preparation for the day when we might have to act fast. Then one day, after my sister and her husband went to see Carriage Inn and fell in love with it, we were able to get our parents to visit -- then everything changed. Mom and dad moved into Carriage Inn in March 2018, and we couldn't be happier! The complex is rather unassuming, but as soon as you step inside you feel a difference--it's warm and inviting. The entire complex is clean, odor-free, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. Mom and dad chose a 2-bedroom apartment and really appreciated being able to selected new carpet and have it painted to make it feel like home. Since the apartment has huge picture windows in the bedrooms and french doors that open into a beautiful, park-like courtyard, they are able to hang feeders and enjoy the birds whether sitting inside or out on their patio, something that was very important for them. The residents in their building have been very friendly and welcoming, and when we first visited, we asked them about their experiences living in the apartments; they had nothing but positive things to say --always an encouraging sign! And after 10 months, we have not been disappointed nor regretted making the decision to move our parents into Carriage Inn. Everyone who works there is friendly and caring, and the they all made a real effort to get to know our parents (and not just their names!). The staff is so helpful, whether answering questions or assembling bookshelves, they are quick to lend a hand or address any concerns we have. It's a great feeling to know we can pick up the phone and call the front desk for assistance on almost anything that comes up. Our dad especially has enjoyed getting to know the staff in the dining room and kitchen -- he looks forward to going down to breakfast every morning since he can have a full meal with all the trimmings, so to speak, without having to cook. All of us have enjoyed coming over to having meals with them, and have found the food choices delicious and plentiful. It's been satisfying to see them both putting on weight after not eating regularly because it was getting too difficult to cook. Our family also appreciates the wide range of additional services available should they need them, and Mom loves having regular housekeeping. In fact, for the first few month our parents kept telling us it was like living in a resort -- no cooking or cleaning! And while dad was resistant to giving up his keys when he turned 90, he's starting to enjoy having a chauffeur, too. It has been a huge relief for our family to have our parents living in a facility where they can be as independent as they want to be, but secure in the knowledge that help is just a few minutes away should they need it. Our family encourages you to check out Carriage Inn to see if it may be a good fit for your parents, or perhaps even as an option for yourself!

This has been a great move for my parents. They get the care they need and the socialization they were missing out on. We are thankful for all the staff there. What a blessing for our family.
