I moved my Dad from Dallas, Texas to VOP. The administration and staff have all been great. The room and amenities are all that he needs to be in a safe, caring and comfortable place. They are great to the Veterans that live there. I highly recommend VOP. The food is good and is served throughout the day which is nice. You do not have to wait for a designated time or miss out because of doctor's appointment. The facility is kept clean and there is almost always musical entertainment or other fun activity to participate in. All of the residents are happy and most have been there for several years.

I am very pleased with our choice to move my Mother into this community. I could not be more pleased with EVERYTHING at Stoney Brook of Copperas Cove. The care that they give my Mom is fantastic. And it is not from one person but from every member of their staff. They not only care for Mom but they love to do things for her. I really enjoy visiting her because everyone is so friendly and helpful. My Mom is 103 years old now and she needs assistance doing many things. She never wants for help to do them. Stoney Brook is great!

Getting aging parents to "make the move" is often difficult and challenging, and ours were no exception. We'd been talking with them about it for over two years; mom was keen to do it, dad was determined to stay put. Still we continued to look for options in preparation for the day when we might have to act fast. Then one day, after my sister and her husband went to see Carriage Inn and fell in love with it, we were able to get our parents to visit -- then everything changed. Mom and dad moved into Carriage Inn in March 2018, and we couldn't be happier! The complex is rather unassuming, but as soon as you step inside you feel a difference--it's warm and inviting. The entire complex is clean, odor-free, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. Mom and dad chose a 2-bedroom apartment and really appreciated being able to selected new carpet and have it painted to make it feel like home. Since the apartment has huge picture windows in the bedrooms and french doors that open into a beautiful, park-like courtyard, they are able to hang feeders and enjoy the birds whether sitting inside or out on their patio, something that was very important for them. The residents in their building have been very friendly and welcoming, and when we first visited, we asked them about their experiences living in the apartments; they had nothing but positive things to say --always an encouraging sign! And after 10 months, we have not been disappointed nor regretted making the decision to move our parents into Carriage Inn. Everyone who works there is friendly and caring, and the they all made a real effort to get to know our parents (and not just their names!). The staff is so helpful, whether answering questions or assembling bookshelves, they are quick to lend a hand or address any concerns we have. It's a great feeling to know we can pick up the phone and call the front desk for assistance on almost anything that comes up. Our dad especially has enjoyed getting to know the staff in the dining room and kitchen -- he looks forward to going down to breakfast every morning since he can have a full meal with all the trimmings, so to speak, without having to cook. All of us have enjoyed coming over to having meals with them, and have found the food choices delicious and plentiful. It's been satisfying to see them both putting on weight after not eating regularly because it was getting too difficult to cook. Our family also appreciates the wide range of additional services available should they need them, and Mom loves having regular housekeeping. In fact, for the first few month our parents kept telling us it was like living in a resort -- no cooking or cleaning! And while dad was resistant to giving up his keys when he turned 90, he's starting to enjoy having a chauffeur, too. It has been a huge relief for our family to have our parents living in a facility where they can be as independent as they want to be, but secure in the knowledge that help is just a few minutes away should they need it. Our family encourages you to check out Carriage Inn to see if it may be a good fit for your parents, or perhaps even as an option for yourself!

This has been a great move for my parents. They get the care they need and the socialization they were missing out on. We are thankful for all the staff there. What a blessing for our family.

I had a pleasant experience when touring the facility. The facilities are modern, clean and the staff and members are pleasant to be around. The facility has many activities for it's members with a variety of different choices.

My mother-in-law is transferring from the Lake Jackson location to Conroe; she is eagerly looking forward to the wonderful community in Conroe.

Carriage Inn Conroe Moving to Carriage Inn Conroe was a great decision. The residents and staff have been so welcoming and friendly. The staff make life easier by providing many services including dining, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation, etc. Activities are available to keep us active and involved Including Bingo, Bible study and Engage Your Brain (my favorite), shopping and many more. The residents have many creative and artistic talents so we started the Carriage Inn Crafters. Interested residents meet twice each month to share and learn new projects. We started with “Mug” rugs and tree-fold napkins and now we are making Walker Bags from donated upholstery samples. For residents no longer able to sew we have paired them with other residents who help with the sewing so they can be a part of the group. My thanks to the Director of Life Enrichment and Team Members who make it possible for me to coordinate our craft projects. I am really happy that I moved to Carriage Inn. It is the place to be.

Carriage Inn is a wonderful facility! Our Mom has lived here for about 8 years and we have had the best of care for her! The staff are all very professional and friendly to all the residents as well as their families! Our family has enjoyed getting to know them. We eat with our Mom regularly and the food is always delicious, as well as the food staff being very attentive to the residents. CARRIAGE INN IS THE BEST!

Great place to live with a great staff!!

Clean. Many residents out and about on a Sunday pm. Beautiful, spacious facility...staff pleasant, professional and informative. Can’t wait to have my hubby enjoy the quality of life he is used to again at Provident Village.

We moved our 87 year old father down to Canton to be closer to me from Indiana 8 months ago and have been very satisfied . He requires memory care assisted living and I have found the facility to be excellent in every way. The nursing staff is caring and professional. The ancillary staff is as well. I would strongly recommend Provident Village if seeking a safe and caring environment for a loved one. The activities are based on the residents needs and interests. Dad has enjoyed the many musical activities and outings especially a trip to the Canton Theater to see driving Miss Daisy. I especially appreciate the Wellness director of the Memory Care neighborhood [name removed], she not only provides excellent Nursing Care but activities and all other aspects of care for the memory impaired individual, she is excellent in communicating with me and my many questions and concerns for Dad.

Top notch facility. Designed for active seniors. Clean & fresh, my Mom will be moving into the unit that was previously the facility's model apartment.

Mom has adjusted well and seems relatively happy. She wanted a private room and they had one available. The staff is friendly and taking really good care of mom and her needs. They will try to engage her in the daily activities. The housekeeping does a good job of keeping things clean and well kept. They will also do her laundry for her. Mom says the food is fine and have options to choose different things if you didn't want what they served. They have a nice outdoor area she will love when the weather is nice. I would recommend this community.

Stoney Brook was the first facility I toured and [Removed] was very helpful in answering my questions and SB and assisted living in general. SB is big enough to have all the amenities and small enough for everyone to know each other. Nice facility and almost full - just one room available.

I would highly recommend Carriage Inn to others. It has been fantastic. I love the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the atmosphere of the community. The food is great; you’re handed a menu, just like being in a restaurant. You can choose food options and portions sizes, and if you want more, they give it right to you. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere of the place is lively and comforting. They have lots of activities, games, music, live entertainment, and movies. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish they did residents’ laundry without charging extra. Besides that, the community is excellent. Highly Recommended.
