The community is a very feeling place. I love how welcoming [Removed] at the front desk made me feel. [Removed] did an awesome job showing me around and answering all my question.

I have toured your community and [Removed] always invites us to your events. Every event she puts together is so great. Your Chef [Removed] food is so delicious.

Coming to Pacifica was a real comfortable transition with the help of [Removed]. She was extremely kind, understanding, and resourceful. I had toured 10 facilities in the Bay Area before discovering Pacifica Union City. [Removed] gave me a tour and explained all the benefits of entering the Pacifica community. She facilitated in providing me with the necessary tools to transition my stepmom out of the home and into a facility. In the halls she always makes a point to check-in and say hi. Her presence gives me a peace of mind that my step mom is in good hands. She is warm, loving and very thorough. Only one request, please add 10 more [Removed]! There are lot of activities here. The food is very good. I recommend this place.

I had a good tour of the community. The tour I had was professional and I feel I got all the details I needed about the community. My main goal was to find one that was close to me and this community was hard for me to get to by bus. They did not fit our needs.

Very nice fancy, but very comfortable. Staff operates very efficiently but facility is too nice for my family.

The care at this community is wonderful. The community is clean and nice. The menu is nice and she was pleased with the choices that were offered. They do have a nice list of activities that are offered. We would recommend this community for the excellent value. They do allow pets and that was something important for us.

This facility is absolutely wonderful! The staff is incredible! The do much more than what is expected of them, and they are sure to cater to my mother's needs and requests. They even go out of their way to perform tasks such as doing her laundry for her! My mother is also very satisfied with the meals that are served. We made a great choice with choosing this facility!

My mother was very sad to leave her apartment where she had lived for 17 years on her own; but at age 96, after a fall resulting in a broken hip, it was determined she could no longer live alone. That's when I contacted Pacifica. Having known of the facility for 15 years and of their consistent excellent reputation, I moved her in directly after her hospital rehabilitation stay. Mom is a retired nurse, so she is very critical of care, and I am happy to report that after 3 months of residing at Pacifica, she is singing their praises! Transition and adjustment is not easy for many seniors, but the staff at Pacifica seem to have just the right balance of caring and professionalism, which makes the residents feel "at home"; safe and secure. The facility is very clean and comfortable, with lots of activities for the residents to enjoy. The staff is very willing to discuss and address any concerns, and they are always readily available to do so. I live only a few minutes away and visit almost daily, so I am always witnessing the staff and operation in action. When I am not there with her I am never worried because I know she is in good hands. My mother is thriving, and I couldn't be more pleased!

When my dad was here a few years ago, we saw signs of improvements. The care provided help. The meals were good and how the kept the community clean was good. All the staff were very helpful and nice. For the size of the community it went great and he left them not for being bad but to be home with his loved one instead.

Pacifica has genuinely caring caregivers who give their wards respect - treating them as people with dignity. They have a constant schedule of activities to keep their residents busy all day doing arts, crafts, singing, walking, gardening, physical games like batting balloons with those huge swimming pool "noodles", armchair travelling to different places. The caregivers have monthly refreshers and upgrades in their knowledge and treatment of the residents. I am impressed with the amount of patience they show. Pacifica is a wonfderful place, especially for Memory Care Residents.
