I transferred my mom to Brookdale champions memory care location. My mom is fairly satisfied there. She likes the staff and facilities but doesn't like some of her fellow residents because "they are odd" -- she doesn't understand TBI or Alzheimer's behavior.

I would like to thank the staff at Brookdale lake Brazos they have went over and above for my Aunt to feel welcome she has been there a year and half now and she loves it. The new director is amazing and very kind, most of kitchen staff has been great . the activities director pushes my Aunt to get out and try new things both activities Ladies are fun and always have a smile when I see them.Maintence guys are great. Room is always clean if for some reason it needs attending we let staff know and they come. if there is a need for her they fix it, New Nurse is Nice . it's been a good thing for her she has always struggled with anxiety and depression. I am glad we made this choice for her .Would recommend to families when looking for a place.

She chose it because of the homey feel, she liked that it was a smaller community and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and compassionate staff. My family has such peace of mind knowing that our loved one is in a safe, supportive environment surrounded by people who treat them like family. We are so grateful we chose Brookdale Wake Forest-it has been the best decision!

We have been living in Brookdale Oak Park for almost a month, and we are very happy that we made the decision to move here. The Marketing department couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating when we came for a tour, and then when we made the decision to move here. We made a couple of requests for our apartment, and those requests were readily agreed to. Moving in was easy, with the staff here making sure we had everything we needed. The food is very good – with a wide variety to choose from, which makes it easy for me because I have some dietary restrictions. Everyone on the staff, as well as the residents, have given us a very warm welcome, and helped us feel at home. We are happy here.
