Brookdale

Brookdale Monument Valley has provided a warm home-like environment for our mother. They do this with genuine kindness and proficiency. They take an interest and truly listen to her as the unique person she is, going above and beyond to make her feel heard and respected.

My MIL is losing weight. Yet when we take her out to eat, she eats almost everything on her plate. It's been a while since I've been at Brookdale, as I'm experiencing a severe back issue affecting my walking ability. But when I have been there for meals, she usually doesn't care for the food there at Brookdale. And it has not looked appealing to me either. I know that losing weight is natural for what is probably starting my MIL's end of life, but again, she eats almost everything on her plate when we take her out to eat.

Since moving here in Feb of this year I have had the best experience. Staff are all very sweet management are quick to resolve any concerns. Feels like family!

My mom does make comments once in a while about the choices or the monte Cristo was not what it is in a restaurant. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families...my sister and I are very happy with the staff and Cleanliness of Brookdale. It has been a great place so far

Everyone, even though short handed, tries to make my Mom happy. They have Bingo and card games and that keeps her active and has the social interaction with others. A lot of the people who work there like their jobs which the residents see and appreciate.

My mom has been at Brookdale PGI for a little over 2 months now. I can"t say enough wonderful things about this facility. My mom was reticent about Assisted Living, but she is so happy here. We looked at a few newer and larger places in the area. My mom chose Brookdale because of its smaller size, "family feel" and sense of community. And how right she was! The care is tremendous, the staff a great combo of professionalism and genuinely caring personalities. She finds it so easy to navigate to her meals and activities. I feel so reassured that she is receiving the best care. Thank you Brookdale for being a great place for my mom.

Coming into the community is always a great experience. It’s nice and clean with a family feel to the community. Families are always happy to come see their loved ones and also bring their friends. The staff are always with the residents creating the best care inside ever witnessed.

My wife has Alzheimer’s. Brookdale is providing her with excellent care and those who love her with confidence that she is in good hands. The care givers care. They are positive confident professionals. The facility is always clean. The food is nutritious. My wife is safe and content.

Good stuff: management and caregivers are engaged, organized, helpful, and available to residents and their families. The activity director tries to include everyone in large and small groups, and provides zoom meetings for family members on different topics. The food is usually quite agreeable to our mom and her table mates (and to us when we taste test). In-house nursing staff seem to have a good relationship with hospice nurses. Not perfect: There is some turnover in caregivers, cooks, housekeepers, etc. This is difficult for everyone, but the core staff seems adept at pitching in (caregivers and even the director have culinary skills and use them). We are at the facility daily, but that still leaves a lot of hours we are not, so we are grateful for the working partnership we have with the staff. Dementia is different for everyone, and taking good care of people can be difficult, but we feel the staff tries to make Brookdale a pretty good place.

My Mother has lived at Brookdale for more than 7 years and at this point they are our second family. They communicate very well with us when she is having issues, she feels very safe and gets her privacy when desired. They have financially worked with us over the years to accommodate her fixed income. She was allowed to her bring her dog and cat. I visit often and can see that the staff genuinely cares about her.

All of the care staff are very loving and considerate to the residents. New management is working great together as a team. The Family members are wonderful. And the residents are the best of all. I’m so Glad I have the opportunity to work here.

I moved my Mother there 4 months ago and she is 100% happy there and the staff has done great helping her with the transition. She was real reluctant to go to assisted living because she can do a lot on her own but she knows she needs help with other things but has nothing but good things to say about her new home.

This is a beautiful community with a welcoming atmosphere and caring staff! It is a free standing memory care community that is fully dedicated and designed for those who are living with memory loss.

My mom loves it here. She has lots of friends and a group she eats with every day. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far

Good experience, Good people. Dad does not participate in most activities (says they're for the women), but I can't say anything about that. Everyone we've come in contact with is very helpful and tries to make things work out, even if it seems a bit complicated.

Very friendly environment. Great staff very helpful. Clean throughout. The facility room sizes are good. Amenities offered are great . Assortments are amazing.

Brookdale Kingsport is the absolute best. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone that is looking for a place for their loved ones. My loved one has been living at Brookdale Kingsport for a little over a year now. The staff is absolutely amazing and seem to care very deeply for the residents. The Wellness Director has been a huge advocate for my loved one about getting the correct treatments and therapy. The Executive Director is so nice and very helpful. If you have any concerns or issues she does her best to make sure it’s solved and addressed in a timely manner. The Maintenance Director is so sweet and very helpful. She has absolutely gone above and beyond not only for my loved one but also for all the residents. If you have any issues she is right on it and gets it taken care of quickly. I can’t brag about her enough. I have noticed she is always doing different projects to make this facility feel like home to the residents that live at Brookdale Kingsport.

I visited a number of facilities. Brookdale was the only one where I was always comfortable. The programs and services they offer met my needs. As a long time walker and a dog owner, the property here offers a number of options. I made the right choice for me when I moved here.

All the staff members and administrators were very welcoming and helpful. Moving mom in was an overwhelming prospect that soon became a positive experience and mom immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It is a joy to feel like everyone understands what this transition does to a family and especially how the new tenant, who might feel lost or confused, may be feeling. Great job Brookdale Trinity Towers! (and thank you!!)

The staff seems to care a lot. Lots of family events planned in the community. Based on the experience we have had so far we would definitely recommend this community to other families
