We chose The Enclave of Scarborough because it was convenient for location, they had a room available, and we didn't really check out any others. The room sizes here are great, beautifully set up and spacious. I have never eaten here but i have never heard any complaints and we have heard a lot about how wonderful the chocolate ice cream is. The best part about the community so far has been the management from the top creates a sense of warmth and community. Within the community, my loved one is in memory care and has made friends. I would recommend.

We chose the Enclave based on a personal recommendation, as well as in-person shopping other local assisted living residences. We moved my mother in just a week before the pandemic restrictions were put in place, so naturally, all of the plans and expected life-enriching activities were severely curtailed. In my case, I had to visit the facility weekly to refill my mother's medications, which gave me a familiarity with much of the staff. My mother had to be moved into the memory care wing, and subsequently was placed on hospice care status. Once she was on hospice care, restricted in-room visitation with full ppe was allowed. This gave me added confidence in the staff. They truly understand and give excellent care to the residents, which I observed first hand. I must also give highest compliments to the vigilance of the staff on the steps they take to keep everyone in the facility Coronavirus safe. If you are moving your loved one during the pandemic, it will be a harder adjustment than during normal times, but I'm still very happy with the level of care, and feel no one could do better. I would suggest that if you are new to the process, you talk to other people who have been through this with their family member. There are differences and small details to be aware of between facilities to find the best fit, but the Enclave still get my vote as a truly great choice.

My husband has lived in this community for a month and I couldn't be more pleased with the care he is receiving there. The staff is kind, well trained, and responsive. I am especially pleased with the handling of Covid-19. There have been zero cases to date.

This community offers a great amount activities from movie nights, to family days where you can eat with your relatives, to memory games and bingo. They also have exercise classes everyday and an in house church services. They also have prayer time, and once a month they may explore topics like national parks and learn about them. There is also arts and carts, and before COVID they would take them out on shopping trips once or twice a week. The activities director is very creative, for instance in the summer if the residents aren't able to really get out they would have a car parade where they would drive the residents around, or a dog parade where there family members could come and parade their family dogs around for the residents to see. We haven't been able to visit this community since April, but it's very modern, and energetic. Not only are the people energetic, but the overall atmosphere is. It is also very clean. The food seems to have a good variety, there are not a lot of processed food. it was pretty much all fresh and well balanced. Our loved one however is now having to eat in her room due to COVID, and sometimes by the time her food gets there it is cold. The chef is very friendly, and is very open to taking home recipes from the residents. They also have an advisory committee and they can decide what they want to have food wise at this community and what they don't want. They really have a lot of input when it comes to the food, and they have access to healthy snacks all the time.

Due to COVID-19, I am unable to give an accurate opinion for cleanliness. The only thing I know for sure is our mother was happy, well cared for, enjoyed the activities, was very well taken care of. That is all we wanted for our mother!!

We chose this facility because the initial impressionism was much more home like than some others. The atmosphere was very good, it felt lived in in a good way. The room sizes are very good, you have a number of options for rooms to choose from. I think they do pretty good with the food, there are a lot of dietary restrictions which cause for less flavor. But the quality of food is good, it is fresh. Maybe they could offer more variety for residents who do not have dietary restrictions. I would want others to know when looking into Somerby of Mount Pleasant that no matter where you put your loved one, always keep an eye on them. If they realize you are watching, they will pay more attention. The staff members here are very good. I would absolutely recommend the facility.

This is a great community for us. We can visit our loved on the patio with masks on and social distancing. Our loved one is very happy here. We were worried about this, since she didn't want to leave her apartment. They have done an amazing job! The activities still are going on during COVID. The family has been able to do car parades, and residents have been able to play bingo, have singers come and sing outside, play cards, and the community has kept the residents busy. The only complaint our loved one has given her one too much food.

I would tell my friends to look into this community. The food was good on our tour. We've had a few virtual visits and then the community has allowed us to come up by appointment. The community has placed Plexiglas up for us to see my loved on, once a week.

My loved one has someone come in and clean their room. This is an older community and it is very nice. My loved one doesn't participate in a lot of activities, but the community has tried to get him to go to activities. They have a locked unit for those individuals who do wonder. Most residents are not able to visit their loved ones. Luckily my loved one has been very receptive to the care needed at the this community.

It is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. We are very please with Mac Arthur Hills. The room sizes are good compared to others. There is nothing that we are not happy with. The food is a little repetative. They have an outdoor patio and garden area for the residents to use.

Mom moved into independent living at first. Everyone was kind and professional with smiles. So helpful with all our questions. Mom’s dementia started to decline after 6 months, then we had to move her to memory care during this trying time for all (coronavirus), There my Mother has loving and caring staff , which I refer to as walking angels! I am please with all the caring and loving nurses and staff that work there!

The community is very clean and the staff has been quite friendly with us. They have been very good with my brother during the Covid-19 pandemic and accommodating for his needs. We do feel like The Blake At Edgewater is a good value for the price.

Our 86 year old father has been a resident at Woodbridge Place for 8 years. He immediately embraced the community and quickly called it his home. Finding an environment for your loved one that needs special attention isn't an easy task. However, the staff showed compassion, warmth, and attention. Our requests have been met with an immediate response and that's extremely important when you depend upon others to keep our parent safe. We are very grateful for this safe place, especially during these uncertain times.

The food was okay.We had a two bedroom unit and that was a good size for us. They have a front porch to sit on. The staff was very friendly. It was a really nice place to be. It was nice to have friends visit. I really liked living at Somerby of Mobile.

There are several things I really appreciate about this community, first is the wonderful communication during this pandemic. They have sent frequent newsletter, made several phone calls, and even do video calls so we can see my brother. Second, they are very good with medical concerns. with a quick response and contact me. The staff are very good and very patient with my brother. I looked are eight other communities, and we chose The Blake because the location was close to my house, it was financial reasonable, and there were lots of activities to participate in. It has really been a great place for our family.

What is great is that my mom who is 88 has asked me her whole life not to put her in a nursing home, At The Enclave of Springboro she does not feel like she is in a nursing home. She loves it. She has her own unit. The place is beautiful we are all very pleased. It is close to family. She likes that she is able to be with everybody and has free reign of the whole place. We toured a couple of other places but nothing compared to to The Enclave. My mom had been at home with a care giver and she was always complaining and never got along with one for very long and I was always worried. Now that she is at the Enclave she never complains and I don't have to worry. I am so thankful for A Place for Mom, I had one week to find a place for my mom. A Place for Mom was great, they sent me options and even scheduled the appointments which made it so much easier for me to find a place so quickly.

I really liked the atmosphere at Woodbridge Place Senior Living. It feels very home like. They have a bright and cheery activity room, it was a big thing for us to find a place with activities to keep mom busy. Woodbridge is near my home and our church and they have Bible study there. They have Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Social Workers that come in weekly to see residents. The food is good, my mom really seems to like it.

Outstanding People! Caring, compassionate, comforting and kind staff who go above and beyond in their care of patients and in dealing with family members. We have been so impressed with the can-do attitude and positive spirits of these folks. I can't say enough good things about [names removed] and all the staff members! They have all played a part in helping to make our transition the best it can be. Thank you!

We are absolutely delighted with the Enclave. It is very beautiful and gives the feeling of entering a 5 star hotel. Activities are excellent and varied and very oriented to the elderly. Food is quite good. But the very BEST is how friendly and warm the staff are. I can’t say enough about how glad we are to having our loved one in such a nice place.

Very helpful in getting my parents acclimated to the life transition.
